Second, our Design Team thought it would be fun to share some Mother's Day Create-A-Card designs, plus a fun gift idea that goes with the card. Once you view their card, simply jump over to their blogs and see their gift idea up close. So let's get started with our Doodles Card Sketch...

I used a "Create-A-Card" from the "Slim Sunburst Assortment" and turned it into a small mini album with photos of my 3 kids as a present for (Grand) Mother's Day. As this card is folded twice it's just perfect for this purpose! I just love all the glitter cardstock stickers of little birds and butterflies that come with this collection!!

Other materials used: Patterned Paper: Hello Spring Collection & Petite Prints; Cardstock Stickers: Hello Spring; Cardstock Alphabet Stickers: Hopscotch (Bubblegum).

Mom with Love

To create card "pocket", I turned the create-a-card base inside out and upside down [whew!]. I stitched each side to seal the sides, then decorated with stamped tag and paper ribbon.

Flower pokes were made with stickers on skewers backed with patterned paper. Perfect for a potted plant or flower!

Supply List: Create-a-card - polka dot - swimming pool; patterned paper - Petite Prints - limeade; stickers - Colorwheel; sugar-coated brads; pearls - Boys Only; rhinestones; sentiment stamps - sentiments - Hampton Art; label stamp - thankful - Hampton Art; alpha stickers - simply sweet sugar-coated - swimming pool

Mother's Day Spring Card + Gift Card

My Mother's Day card had a little surprise inside. By trimming off the upper part of the third flap of a Square Baroque Create A Card and then adhering the edges to the inside of the card, I was able to create a place to tuck in a gift card. Quick and easy!

Supply List: Square Baroque Create A Card, Hello Spring 6 x 6 Pad, Colorwheel Cute Cuts, Hello Spring Icon Stickers, Hello Spring Mini Pearls.
