The rainbow shamrock is my washi project - I just love the unexpected pop of color on what would normally be green...here's how I did it:
To begin with, I pulled out the awesome rainbow washi tape and a piece of plain white cardstock.
I started adding strips of washi, one after another, to the top left corner.
After adding several strips of washi, I placed the cardstock on a Silhouette cutting mat,
And used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out a shamrock:
I added foam adhesive squares to the back of the shape:
And embellished it with sprinkles, stickers, and twine:
Using patterned papers from the "happy-go-lucky" collection, limeade sprinkles, limeade chippers, I created the rest of my piece.
After it was all finished, I put it in an 8x10 frame that sits on our entertainment center.
I love switching out the art for the season or holiday! There are so many fun colors and patterns in the Doodlebug's washi tape collection, it would be easy to use it for each and every piece throughout the year!
Love it!!! That rainbow washi tape is so yummy!!!
