Calendar Challenge: Decorative To Do List by Mendi

Hello Doodlebug's!  It's Mendi here today with my take on a calendar themed project using Doodlebug's Month Daily Doodles Cardstock stickers and a basic hardbound spiral notebook from my stash.
I don't know about you, but I love to make lists!  My workspace is cluttered with them.  Working from home, I don't have many specific day-to-day appointments to keep track of, but I have a number of goals and things I need to accomplish each month.  I thought it would be awesome to have a dedicated space in which to keep them.   To create my "planner" I designed a simple header for each month using some of my favorite leftovers from various collections and then stamped mini hearts using a stamp set I had on hand for my bullet points for each month.  I then skipped a couple pages between months so I could have my lists extend past the first page and have a little space for any extra notes.  This is also handy because having all the embellishment along the top can get a bit bulky around the spiral so it's nice to spread the pages out a bit.
January- using Frosty Friends Paper, Bubble Blue swiss dot paper and frosty & flurry sweet rolls mini icon stickers February- using Sugar & Cream collection & Cupcake gingham-linen petite prints  March- using Spring Things collection & Lemon swiss dot petite prints
April- using Easter Express collection and Cupcake swiss dot petite prints
May- using Sunkissed collection June- using Fun In The Sun collection
July- using Patriotic Picnic collection August- using Fun In The Sun collection September- using Back To School collection
October- using Ghouls & Goodies collection November- using Fall Friends collection December- using Here Comes Santa Claus paper & Sugarplum sweet rolls mini icon stickers

Whether you're an avid planner or a casual list maker like I am, I hope I've inspired you to carve out an evening to create a fun notebook of your own!

Calendar Challenge: Scrapping Baby's Growth Layout by Brigit Mann

Hello Doodlebug Fans, it's Brigit here to share a Cream & Sugar Calendar page using a sheet from the Daily Doodles collection.  I wanted something special for my grandson's first year of monthly photos and this collection is absolutely perfect for this project.

All the die cuts I used are from the Cream & Sugar Odds and Ends pack.  These really helped me put this layout together very quickly,

As a family we go to Chowderfest in Saratoga Springs, NY every year, it's on the first Saturday in February.  You go around to each restaurant and for a dollar you get a cup of chowder and at the end you vote for your favorite, it's such a fun weekend.  Well this cup is full of chowder, and yep we got donuts up there too.

Baby Everett is my first grandchild so he is all about sweet hugs & kisses, this Cream & Sugar collection totally reminds me of him!!

I love that the Odds and Ends pack have everything you need to put a layout together, like the cute little banner pieces, I just added some Doodlebug letters with some Doodlebug Swimming Pool Twine.  The Sprinkles Washi Tape adds a nice border to the top and bottom.

I'm so looking forward to the rest of the layouts I create using these Daily Doodle pages.

Here is a list of all the Doodlebug products I used

I hope you've enjoyed these projects, thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Easter Express Collection: Carrot Boxes by Wendy Sue Anderson

Hi Doodlebug friends!  It's Wendy Sue here today, sharing one of my most favorite Easter projects EVER!

I absolute adore the new "Easter Express" collection and I knew as soon as I opened it up that it was going to make some super cute little treat containers for some friends!

I used a "carrot box" cut file (HERE), along with some "petite prints" paper to create the carrot shaped boxes.

The tops are tied with chunky doodle twine, then I added some shaped clips to the bows - I think they look like sweet little charms!  I also added a small strip of coordinating doodle tape to each box, about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom!

The tags are simple die-cut circles from various papers from the 6x6 paper pad, and embellished with lots of sweet animal stickers!

I used foam adhesive behind the stickers, because I just love that teensy bit of dimension it adds.

Of course, I had to fill them up with some of my favorite Easter candies before I gave them away:

Wouldn't these be cute tucked into an Easter basket?  I think they would!

Do you like to create your own packaging for treats?  I'd love to see what you're giving away this Easter - please leave a link in the comment section below!

Happy Easter!
♥ Wendy Sue

Easter Express Collection: Easter Egg Card and Gift Bag With Kathy

Hi Everyone!  It's Kathy today with a sweet shaker card and gift bag I created using the new Easter Express!  Take a peek...

I started with this cut file for the adorable little egg-shaped bag.  I used the flowered side of the Chickie Babies paper for the box and decorated it with a bunny from the Odds & Ends, and one of the word strips from the Springtime Stripes Paper.

Just fill it with some Easter grass and some treats and it's the perfect little gift!  I searched for the perfect card to accompany this box, and ended up making one of my own!  I created a Silhouette file for the shaker card below...

This card reminds me of those diorama sugar Easter eggs from when I was little!  I decorated the inside with another bunny and some flowers from the Odds & Ends and added some Doodlebug Sequins for the shakers!  Now something for you!  I'd love to share the Silhouette cut file for this card with you!  You can download it from my cut-files page for free here!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Easter Express Collection: Easter Mini Album by Caroli Schulz

Hello everybody! Caroli here and today I want to show a little mini album I made using fabulous Easter Express collection. I adore this collection, it's so fresh and funny, perfect for scrapping pictures of your little ones.

As you can see, I used such a simple structure with 2 pieces of cardboard wrapped in patterned paper and linked by a piece of textured cardstock. The pages on the inside are wire binded.

I mixed pages with different sizes and shapes, so that to make the mini more interesting. Also, I added some vellum pages and printed my journaling there, I think this looks cute!

I like to decorate vellum pages using stickers, sprinkles and also some tiny flowers I fussy cut from patterned paper, love these tiny flowers to bits!

I really liked how this mini came out, the colors in this collection are so vibrant and coordinate so well, it was so easy to work with it!  Hope you liked this projects and maybe get some inspiration to get your scrap on, thank you for stopping by!! XOXO!

Easter Express Collection: Scalloped Mini Album by Traci Penrod

Happy Wednesday Doodlebug friends!  It's Traci, and I'm back to share a new mini with you.  I'm super excited about the Easter Express collection ... the colors, patterns, and odds & ends are so adorable.  You are going to have so much fun playing with all the cuteness!
I cut my chipboard album out with a Sizzix die called Album: Scallop Rectangle #2 and covered each page with papers from the Easter Express collection, and a few of the gingham/linen prints.
I used glitter sprinkles throughout the album ... I can't get enough of these!!
The "Easter" title came from the brand new mini icon stickers, and  the die cuts are from the Odds and Ends package.  Isn't that little paint brush the cutest?
I also incorporated pieces from the 6x6 paper pad into my album.  I love the smaller prints for mini albums and the little 2x2 cards are perfect for the front of my little flip-up photo cards.
I wanted to hoard this little Doodlepop bunny train, but he looked so cute on the page I decided to use him.   Well that's it for me today.  I hope you have a wonderful week!
