At the Zoo Collection: Animal Kingdom Adventure Layout by Mendi

Hello Doodlebugs!  It's Mendi here today with a layout featuring the fun new At The Zoo Collection.  This collection has every adorable animal you could dream up (quite literally).  In fact I had an ostrich photo that didn't make the page and they even have the cutest one of those.  ;)

I wanted the title block to really stand out on my grid style layout so I set the scene with a palm tree and adventure word from the Odds and Ends pack that I combined with a flamingo doodle pop and cute little lion sprinkle.  The words "Animal Kingdom" spelled out with my favorite Love Letters alphabet stickers were the perfect finishing touch.

To help draw the eye through my page and add a bit of balance to my visual triangle, I added a little family tab sticker from the This and That Sticker sheet, along with a giraffe sprinkle shape.

I wanted my journaling and embellishments to stand out so I chose to go with my favorite tone-on-tone prints from the collection.  I always like how they add a bit of whimsy and a punch of color without completely overwhelming my design.  

A pair of Giraffe Doodle pops combined with a little jungle leaf sprinkle round out my design. 

I love all the darling creatures in this set.  I can't wait to find a little extra time to make adorable birthday and baby shower cards!  Thanks so much for hanging with me today.  :)
