July PageMaps Sketch with Jennifer Beason

Hello, Doodlebug friends. Jennifer here and today I'm sharing a scrapbook layout with you.  I don't do layouts very often, but with the help of a good sketch, it's easy.  Here's a look at the sketch Becky Fleck from PageMaps gave me to work with.

After turning the sketch upside down, here's what I came up with.

The picture I used is of my son sleeping while we were at the zoo, so of course, I had to use Doodlebug's adorable At The Zoo collection.

I also added in a few die cuts from the Fun in the Sun line, like the sun, palm trees, leaves, clouds, notebook page and "dreamin'" title.

A small treat bag was glued behind the photo to hold my journaling.

Teensy Type stickers were used to add the year on the cloud die cut and the raindrops are from the elephant doodle-pop sticker.

Some animal friends were grouped together and placed below the photo, along with some fun leaf sprinkles and die-cuts.

The title die cut was mounted to foam dots and attached along with a bracket sticker. All that was needed to finish off my layout was a little zebra washi tape and some matte sprinkles. Thanks for joining me today and happy crafting!  Jennifer
