To make this layout I started with a piece of white cardstock. I used the Rhinestone feature on my Silhouette and found this cute "Love" cut file found here . I simply changed the line to the smallest rhinestone size setting on my Silhouette and the program changed the lines into tiny little holes that were the perfect size for the thicker baker's twine. After I got the letters cut out, I set out using a few different colors of twine and started random stitching the letters. This really is a super fun technique! One tip that I would offer up is to outline your letter with stitching and then start with the criss crossing of the twine - you can read the letters a little bit better when you do this. Here are some close ups of the layout:
Hopefully I have inspired you to give this fun technique a try! I loved using the adorable Puppy Love line to make this layout - it was the perfect collection for these fun puppy pictures that I had! Happy crafting to you all! Have a great weekend!
