To The Sea I Go Layout | with Caroli

I'm a person in love with the ocean, I love everything about it, the waves, walking barefoot in the sand, feeling the salt on my lips and the sweet breeze in my hair. For me the ocean is a place where I charge my batteries, and this is what I wanted to put down as an important part of my memory keeping. The Sweet Summer collection had everything I needed to portray the exact feelings of my time on the beach.

I had these gorgeous photos my friend Eva took of me on our trip to Costa Rica a few months ago, the beaches are something really beautiful there, so we enjoyed swimming and of course we snapped a few shots for our scrapbooks :)

I wanted to use as many pics as possible because I love each of them! I am very critical about pics of myself (I never seem to look the way I want and it gets even worse if I'm on a swimsuit) but I just adored each and every of these pics, so of course I wanted to use them all!

TIP: A good way of including several pics without overwhelming the page is using rectangle photos and softening the look with photos also in circle shapes.  I blended them together using similar shapes from the Chit Chat Ephemera Pack.

For my title was inspired by a quote I found on Pinterest, which seemed perfect for what I feel about the ocean. I combined Teensy Typo alpha in yellow and a few words I cut using my Silhouette Cameo and free font Better Together. 

It's such a simple layout but it has a lot of feeling and good memories, I love the result.  Thank you for stopping by, have a lovely day!
