I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally get my hands on one of the Daily Doodles Travel Planners. I couldn't decide which design to get first. I really wanted the "lots o' dots" but when I saw "poppy dot" when Cynthea showed it to me, I fell in love right away. It is gorgeous and I am amazed with the quality. The TN's are beautifully made. I can't wait to collect them all.
Let's take a peek of the inside of this TN. There are pockets on the left side to hold your ID's and cards or you can decorate them. There are many different types and designs of inserts available.
I had so much "pun" setting up my TN.
All about pink, aqua and desserts. I pulled out all the sweet, sugary and pink dessert elements to be the main highlight of my set up.
Doodlebug's inserts already has beautiful designs that you don't really need to decorate them. I still wanted to create another cover for my insert that matches my set up. This just gives me a reason to use more of this collection just because everything is oh so cute.
As I mentioned before, I don't permanently attached my cover to my insert so I can remove my insert and use it for another set up.
I added these pom poms to the side of some of my insert covers. I think it adds a lot of fun to my set up.
"Before the pen" August Monthly Layout.
This monthly calendar insert available for you to get. It includes 12 undated monthly spreads. The good thing about undated is that you can start with any month you want. You don't always have to start with January.
I used the mini icons stickers to create this layout since the stickers are small enough to give you enough room to write.
For my August layout, I used my number stamps to add the dates.
I celebrated my 39th birthday on August 11.
I was so lucky to be able to visit the Doodlebug Headquarters in Salt Lake, Utah. I was able to see the warehouse and the DB store which is not open to the public. Let me tell you that I was in Doodlebug Heaven!
Not only that, I was able to spend the whole weekend there with my planner besties and Cynthea. We were also the first ones to purchase the Daily Doodles TNs. It was the best birthday month ever.
"Before the pen" September Monthly Layout.
I wanted to create a "boyish" layout since it's my husband's birthday in September.
I also wanted to point out that even though September's layout is all about rockets and outer space, it still goes beautifully with my "pink and desserts" set up. I just love that about Doodlebug, don't you agree?
The "Teensy type" alphas and numbers are perfect to use in my planner. There are so many different colors you can choose from to go with the theme you're working on.
I also love how I can use the smaller letters to create words for my layout and still leave me plenty of room to write.
This TN will always hold a special place in my heart since I got it while I was at the Doodlebug Headquarter and I had it signed by the one and only Cynthea, creator and owner of Doodlebug.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you next time. I hope you were inspired to set up your TNs. For more inspirations, you can visit my Instagram @xoxo_jomelle
