Simply Spring Happy House Cards | with Tya

With Summer being just around the corner  -  I wanted to get all I could from the adorable Simply Spring collection and so I create this fun card trio! You may think that this spring collection is just all about the cute bugs and flowers - but how adorable are these houses?

The first card I created was made by first cutting a frame shape from the purple woodgrain side of the Playful Plaid paper.  I added this to the card front with some foam tape for some dimension. I then layered the cloud paper from the 6x6 paper pad, cut a wavy grass shape out of the 6x6 Dot Stripe Petite Print and then layered the cute pink cottage from the Odds and Ends. I LOVE the Sprinkle Shapes that coordinate with this collection! The little bluebird and pink ladybug are found on the Little Critters Sprinkle Shapes. The "thinking of you" banner is from the Chit Chat.

 This card so bright and sunny and I love this cute scene! I want a window box that looks just like this lol!  I backed my card with some Playful Plaid 6x6 paper and then cut another square from the yellow Dot Stripe 6x6 Petite Print paper. The window is from the Odds and Ends. If you'll notice, I used a few flowers from the May Flowers Sprinkle Shapes and the Butterfly is from the Little Critters Sprinkle Shapes.  At the bottom of the card is another sentiment from the Chit Chat ephemera.

 And of course, to finish my card trio out, I  had to make a mini card. The scallop cards are simply adorable! I simply cut a piece of the green Dot Stripe 6x6 Petite Print paper, mounted it on some white cardstock and added it to the card front. The house is a Doodlepop called Cozy Cottage and I added a Hello sticker from the This and That sticker sheet and then added a green heart from the May Flowers Sprinkle Shapes and then on the house there are some teeny, tiny flowers that I added. These are from the Spring Babies Sprinkle Shapes from our Hoppy Easter collection.
