Each of the pages is constructed the same. They have a base page, then a flap that holds a 4x4 inch card like below:
The flap lifts up and reveals the base page and the back of the flap is decorated. You could also place a picture or journaling on the flap instead.
The pages are made so that you have a pocket that you can place a pull out that will hold a 4x6 inch photo. I used a tab punch on the edge so you can easily access the pocket.
The back side of the page is just made with simple papers and embellishments. you can add another small pocket at the bottom to hold pictures or tags if desired.
This is just the other side of the pull out pocket. I backed it with some Tangerine Gingham Linen Petite Prints.
I followed this tutorial to create this album: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4lho5hJwng
You will need to watch the album walkthrough and then she shows you how to construct the album at the end. Just be aware that her album used 3x4 cards on her flaps so her papers will measure smaller. I used a 4 1/4 x 4 3/4 inch piece of paper and scored on the 4 3/4 inch side at .5 inches to create the flap to hold the 4x4 inch cut apart.
Here is the walkthrough video of my completed album:
