All the pieces for the base were covered with patterned paper and then glued together. Next, the chipboard pieces of the car were covered and pieced together, along with patterned paper for the window and stickers (the driver, pug, and suitcases). The chipboard car was then glued onto the foam board, as shown. The sides and back of the car were then covered with paper also.
The same doodle-pop had some mini flag stickers which I attached to the car and the cases for some added fun detail.
The top tier of the piece needed a little color, so some colorful arrow stickers and heart-shaped sprinkles were used.
It's hard not to go overboard with all these cute icons.
To make the stickers and die-cuts durable on this project, I mounted most of them to chipboard.
Here you can see a few more stickers mounted to a wood dowel to create a little sign.
Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you have been inspired to use this versatile collection on some of your travel projects. Happy crafting everyone!

ReplyDeleteShelly Saying,
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool! I used to have a scratch-off map, but can't seem to find it anymore. I'm grounded right now. I would gladly pick a few of these items myself for my living room and bedroom. Thank you so much for the blog.
