CANDY CARNIVAL POCKET PAGES | with Nathalie

It's Pumpkin Patch season here in the US and I found that the Candy Carnival collection had the perfect embellishments and colors to document pocket pages for a friend's trip with her two young ones:

It's bright and cheerful and screams October to me! I was inspired by the purple and orange shirts in the top 4x6 photo and created all my cards out of patterned papers from the collection (most of them from the 6x6 paper pad). I then selected a few die-cuts from both the Odds & Ends and the Chit Chat packs.

I made sure that my pages had dimension by using a couple small Doodle-pop creatures (don't you love that smiling little mouse?) but also by adding foam dots under selected die-cuts.

A few stickers and machine stitches here and there (always a good idea on my book!) finish the look.
