I love the big impact it makes on a page and that you can get so many pattern papers and colors on one layout. I also struggle with coming up with titles for my layouts so using these title cut files really helps me out!
I started out with a white background and also cut my cut file out on some white cardstock. I backed the file with papers from the Christmas Magic 6x6 paper pad. The 6x6 paper pads are perfect for backing the cut files. The prints are on a smaller scale so they are perfect for backing cut files! I always pop up my cut files from the background so that I can tuck in odds & ends and stickers behind the cut file.
Using a mix of different embellishments on the layout gives the layout texture and interest. I love that Doodlebug offers a wide range of embellishments! I printed my photo out in black and white. I love that this cut file provides the perfect opening at the top to add a photo! I am documenting my creative holiday weekend I hosted a couple of weeks ago! We had a fun holiday photo backdrop and we took a lot of silly photos! The Christmas Magic collection was perfect to document this photo!
