Hello, Doodlebug friends. Ready or not, Christmas is almost here. And what better way to countdown the days but with an advent calendar.
The Night Before Christmas collection is full of fun icons. But the one
that "stole my heart" was Santa. He's just adorable and is the main
focus of the project, along with his sleigh.
For this piece, I used a plain advent box. A design of simple trees was cut from wood and attached to it as the background.
I made chipboard boxes for the box frame, so the designs from the 6x6 "cozy quilt" page would fit perfectly.
I made chipboard boxes for the box frame, so the designs from the 6x6 "cozy quilt" page would fit perfectly.
Because my advent boxes were in a 4 x 6 grid instead of a 5x5 one. I
rearranged the position of some of the designs. But not a problem, I made some number stickers for each box.
As you can see, I had a lot of fun embellishing the calendar with sprinkles, doodle-pops and die-cuts.
The light shaped sprinkles are one of my favorites. What's yours?
Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting everyone!
