I used a Doodlebug cutting file (link here) to cut out my base shape and cover pieces. I offset the original shape slightly so that I could cut out my white pages. Then I cut the pieces from the original shapes and adhered them to my cover and each inside pages. I also made an offset of the egg portion so that I could pop it up on a white background.
I love the background for this first page. Although the photo doesn't do it justice, it's a really pretty vellum with raindrops that shine.
For this little guy, I had to trim off his banner so he would fit, but he will still look super cute flying over a picture of my grandson at Easter!
The Hop Hop and Away doodlepop is so colorful and I love it against this floral background. Who wouldn't love to have these cute little bunnies landing nearby on Easter morning!?
To keep my photo mats consistent throughout, I used a 3 1/2" round scallop punch and a 3" circle punch.
Speaking of doodlepops ... the bunny in the carrot car above just kills me! Vrrrooooom! It's called "Bunny I'm Home!" . SO stinkin' cute!!
I'm usually such a doodlepop hoarder, but I loaded them up in this album. The easter basket is so pretty with the gingham and shiny eggs, and that bunny (Hippity Hoppity) jumping over my photo mat is precious.
Thank you for letting me share my album with you today! What fun things are you making with the Hippity Hoppity collection? We would love to see! Be sure to tag @doodlebugdesign and show us your fun projects!
