Up here in Calgary, the May long weekend is usually "turn around time" - the time when plants actually start to grow without the risk of frost. But this year, spring has started early and things are already starting to bloom, so I am celebrating with a new set of Fairy Garden cards!
This little set of A2 cards is a simple combination of layered papers from the 6x6 collection. The variety of prints provides so much fun interest but also makes it easy to pattern mix with coordinating colours and variety of sizing.
And the stamps! Oh. the stamps! Not only are the little fairies as cute as can be, all the supporting images like the flowers, mushrooms and hearts makes it so easy to situate these cuties in a Doodlebug wonderland!
And if you are up for it, consider doing a bit of paper piecing on the dresses to coordinate even more with the papers. The dress design on the fairies is perfectly simple, making it easy to stamp and cut out the shape, even though it is little!
I know it isn't spring for everyone in the world, but I know that wherever you are, the promise of new beginnings that spring brings is something we can all celebrate right now! So get our your Fairy Garden collection and get creating.
Thanks for stopping by!
