I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! We are still in the swing of things with another family party today! Before the craziness set in I got to play with the Candy Cane Lane Collection. I knew my project would post after Christmas so I wanted to do a New Year's themed project. I came up with this fun little snowman pop up card. Take a peek...
Hi friends! Traci here and today I have a cute and very simple project that uses the adorable recipe cards from the Candy Cane Lane collection. I made a mini album for your Christmas recipes that keeps them safe and organized. This would also be a really great gift idea for someone else this holiday season.
The little snowman on the bow is a sticker from the puffy shapes icons. I love these so much, I think I've used them on every project this season, lol! I created and printed the label from my computer using Lori Whitlock's Cutie Pie font and added a few ladybug enamel dots to finish it off.
Hey friends! Erica here with you today to share a 12x12 scrapbook layout featuring the Candy Cane Lane collection!
One of my favorite types of layouts include large title cut files! They make it quick and easy to create a layout and your title is all ready to go!
You get to highlight as many of the pattern papers as you want helping to bring lots of color and pattern to your layout! Picking the papers to back the cut files is one of my favorite things about the cut files!
I tend to stick with 4 or 5 different patterns for longer titles and 2-3 for shorter title cut files. There are no rules when backing cut files but these are just things I have stuck with and I always love how they turn out! Lots of fun color and pattern without being to busy.
This Better Not Pout cut file is just adorable and went perfect with the Candy Cane Lane collection! We are so excited to Christmas and counting down the days! It is really exciting to see our youngest just loving every minute and how magical everything is to him right now!
Once my title cut file was back it was easy to add it to some beautiful Candy Cane Lane 12x12 papers for the base and embellish around the page. I used a lot of the mini icon sticker and icon stickers from the Candy Cane Lane collection. Here is a look at my final layout!
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today and I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week!

Just before Halloween, I decided that I needed to find a way to display all my Doodle Pops since, well, I usually hoard them. So I created a little cube that allowed me to feature them AND switch them out for the season. So, you guessed it - it was time to switch them out for the new holiday season. Good thing I had some new Candy Cane Lane collection Doodle Pops on my crafty table!
Just like last time, I simply took some of the adorable 12x12 papers and layered them with some cardstock to create a framed look. Then each Doodle Pop got it's own little space on one side - attached to the cube, really simply, with the mini paper clip.
This time though, I decided to see if I could create a topper that had a bit more presence. I tented some of the 12x12 paper and then attached a sentiment from the Chit Chat pack with a bit of foam adhesive. I also decided to finish off the sides with a die cut from the Odds and Ends pack. It sits on the top of cube really simply with some coordinating washi tape so I can switch it out as needed.
I do have to admit that it is still hard to use these Doodle Pops, but I really love seeing them all matted and featured on the cube. I have a feeling that this set is going to stay on the cube well into the new year! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,
Hello my Doodlebug friends! Wanda here today to share another project with the super fun Candy Cane Lane Collection! Can you believe it's Christmas week? I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday! My shadow box I am sharing today is up on the shelf in my craft room to bring some cheer. But it would also be great in the entry way or any room that needs fun and joy! I used the new Candy Cane Lane Shadow Box Kit and the brown frame to put this together. If you haven't made a Doodlebug Shadow Box yet, I really recommend it! I guarantee you will have some fun crafting!
Here is my finished shadow box. I splattered on some white paint to make it look snowy and artsy! I used some stickers and embellishments to add a bit of extra interest to the bottom of the frame. I always like to add some matching decorations to my frame! It's hard to see, but I backed the vellum panel with blue snowflake 12x12 paper from the Candy Cane Lane Collection.
I just adore all the little houses in this kit!! I want to live in a pretty Christmas house! You can see that I also splattered white paint onto my finished panel. I used Diamond Stickles to add glittery accents to the rooftops and other areas.
So many pretty, sparkly gems in this kit - it makes it come alive and shimmer!
The color palette in this kit is just so cheery and sweet. I do love a pop of pink or aqua in with my Christmas colors! No one does it better than Doodlebug.
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to come! Thank you for allowing me to come into your craft room all year and share my love of Doodlebug with you! See you soon!
