One of my favourite new products from Doodlebug are the Little Charmers and I have been dying to find a way to use them on a project! So I decided to put my thinking cap on, team them up with one of my favourite types of projects and see if I could find a way to inspire you to use them too!
The only thing better than getting a little treat container filled with goodies is getting a treat container with a special treasure attached. The containers, made from the 12x12 paper from the Hello Again collection are as simple as can be.
But topped with the adorable Little Charmers. like this cute sun, these containers become something really special. Here's how you can make them too:
- Start with a piece of paper that measure 4"x12" (you can make 3 from one sheet of paper).
2. Score along the long edge at 4.5", 5.5" and 10". Turn the paper 90 degrees and score at the 1" and 3" spots.
3. At the little section created in between the 4.5" and 5.5" scores, v-cut a notch on each side.
4. Trim the side panels off of the section created by the 10" score line.
5. Add adhesive to the narrow long sections and glue the sides of the container together.
6. Pinch the top of the fold so the flap created by the 10" mark can fold over and close the container.
7. Embellish with some ribbon and some pieces from the Chit Chat packs! And of course, don't forget to add a Little Charmer!
These would make great party favours - if you can bear to give away these little treasures! I hope you have fun creating some too. Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
