I feel like if I there was a Sweet & Spooky Town, there would need to be a Sweet & Spooky Town library. And in this library, there would be a crafty monster librarian that would give away the best bookmarks to all the ghouls and goblins that visited - not just on Halloween, but every day! Don't worry - there would be plenty of places that give out treats in here too, but at the library - something a little different.
So today, I conjured up my inner monster librarian and created some Sweet and Spooky bookmarks. Oh, and here's something interesting I learned - there is a standard for bookmark sizes - 2x6", 2x7" or 2x8"! While I originally cut my bookmarks at 6" to get the most out of my 12x12 paper, I have to admit that I liked the 7" versions better and did settle on those for this project!
I used the adorable die cuts from the Odds and Ends packs and then embellished just a little bit some Sprinkles - I wanted to keep these as flat as possible so they would sit nicely inside the books.
And then, after using some Doodle Twine to create some tassels, I topped those off with a Little Charmer on each.
I love the charms really add a little something to these bookmarks! I feel like Spooky Librarian would agree!
So there you have it! Perhaps these will inspire you to conjure up your own spooky librarian and create a set that you can give away on Halloween - or just keep them for yourself! Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
