Hello Crafty Friends, it's Conny! I'm feeling festive and wanted to share my love for the Gingerbread Kisses collection and the Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album! I can't get enough of this chipboard album. It's a blank canvas that can be used for any occasion, and today I've filled it with pages that are bursting with the Spirit of Christmas Magic!
Let's get started!! First, I cover the chipboard pages with papers using a 12" by 12" cardstock. For the cover page, I opted for the "Deck the Halls" paper, which gives a feeling of a house decorated for Christmas. I embellished it with a charming clip/keychain, and a little tulle on the rings. Lastly, I added Santa dropping gifts off and a Christmas tree to complete the look.Inside the album, I used textured cardstock from the coordinating assortment pack to mat a few pages in the album. The pages are about 5.5 by 4.25 inches. They have ripped papers from the 6" by 6" paper pad, embellishments from the cardstock stickers, Odds & Ends, mini icons, and I even stitched them using my sewing machine. The pages are perfect for slicing your photos in and adding your memories. To create flip up pages, you will need a sheet of paper measuring 11 by 4.25 inches and score it at 5.5 inches. For the pages that open from left to right, use a sheet of paper measuring 8.5 by 5.5 inches and score it at 4.25 inches. For the pages that open from side to side, I used two pages each measuring 5.5 by 5.25 inches and scored them at .5 inch. Then, add one to the left and right and place a 5.5 by 4.5 cardstock in the middle of it.
On the back of the pages, I created a pocket using a paper that measures 6 x 3 inches. I scored it on the longer side at .5 inches and at the bottom at 3 3/4 inches. To finish it off, I added a shaker to the back cover! As always, I can't wait to see what you create using this collection. Have fun making it yours and I hope you are inspired to create something unique and beautiful!
