Hello my crafty friends! Traci here and today, I have a new acrylic house shaped mini album to share with you. It's titled Merry and Bright and it's filled with the fantastic Gingerbread Kisses Collection.
I created this with a white acrylic album that I custom made (available in my shop). I covered each page in cute 12x12 and 6x6 papers. For the cover, I used the Cookies for Santa sprinkle paper on the roof and the Christmas Jammies polka dot below. I separated them with 2 scalloped borders stickers from the This & That sheet, then added a die cut from the Chit Chat and some shiny enamel shape sprinkles.
Every house needs a welcoming front door with a pretty Christmas wreath. Check ✔ and check ✔. I used a tag from the Bits & Pieces, die cuts from the Odds & Ends, and some enamel dots for the doorknob and the wreath's ornaments.
Inside, I covered the first page in the pretty Berry Floral paper, then added a photo mat, the candy jar die cut, and a flippie made with a cute 4x4 card.
On this page, I used a piece of limeade card stock for the background and embellished with more die cuts. I love that "sweet" little gingerbread house.
Who says pink isn't a Christmas color? I think it's fabulous and absolutely love it. I also love the Baking Spirit Bright print I used on these photo mats. So many cute little Christmas images. And ... check out the tiny peppermint sprinkle I added to the gift!
The die cuts from the Bits & Pieces are great for journaling so I included the clipboard on this page. It's perfect for a few notes, dates, or names. I also added 2 tiny enamel hearts and a cute round die cut from the Chit Chat to help break up all those rectangular shapes.
Well, hello Santa! He's so cute with his Ho Ho Ho banner and he fit perfectly into that odd space.
I created this mini album with pages that have a layered look and vary in size. That way you can see lots of Doodlebug's amazing papers and die cuts, on multiple pages all at once!
Here, I made another interactive flippie with lemon card stock, the 6x6 Deck the Halls print, and a gingerbread house sticker from the This & That. So cute!
This last page is my favorite. So many fun things to look at! The patterned paper, Santa peeking out from behind the photo mat, the mini icon train stickers, and ...
... the Deck the Halls Doodle-pops! That little Christmas tree is amazing with its enamel dots (I mean ornaments!) and tiny 3D presents. Love, love, love!!
I hope you enjoy making something wonderful this season with the super special Gingerbread Kisses
Collection. If you'd like to make replicate this project, my custom white acrylic house shaped mini album is available in my shop. Happy holidays and happy crafting!
