Hello to all my crafty friends! It's Conny here and I am thrilled to be working with the Farmers Market Collection. This beautiful and warm collection is perfect for capturing fall/Autumn memories, documenting recipes, or showcasing your gardening adventures. This project began with two 12" X 12" papers, and although I wasn't sure where it was headed, my heart led me to creating a mini album. So, here we are with a mini album that offers ample space for photos, recipes, and much more.
Let's get started! To create the inside pages for this mini album, I chose two 12" x 12" papers. I scored each paper at 4" and 8" on one side, and at 5 3/4" and 6 1/4" on the other side. I then used scissors to trim the top and bottom, leaving the middle section between 5 3/4" and 6 1/4". In the image provided, you can see where I added a strip of double-sided tape.
To create the covers, I cut three pieces of chipboard. Two pieces measured 4 1/4" x 6" for the front and back covers, and one piece measured 4 1/4" x 1.5" for the spine. I wrapped the chipboard pieces with orange plaid side of the field of flowers paper to give them a decorative finish. I added a touch of uniqueness to the covers by sewing around the edges.
To keep the contents secure, I created a closure with paper and magnets. For the wrap-around or flap closure, I cut piece measuring 6" x 3". To ensure durability, I rounded the edges of the flap and reinforced it with textured cardstock to make sure the closure was strong enough to hold the magnets securely in place.
I embellished with bits and pieces, chit-chats, odds and ends, enamel dots, puffy icons, mini icons, and cardstock stickers.
