HEY PUMPKIN LET'S PARTY MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hey Crafty Friends, It's Conny here with the Hey Pumpkin Collection, featuring an album ready to be filled with fun memories. Let's do some prep before we get started. Here, you can find everything you need to build the base and inside pages.

Let's get started! First, you will start with the chipboard covers and spine by wrapping them with black cardstock. Here's what you'll need:- (2) Chipboard pieces measuring 8 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches - (1) Chipboard piece measuring 8 1/4 x 2 inches- (2) Black Cardstock pieces measuring 7 x 9 3/4 inches for the covers- (1) Black Cardstock piece measuring 3 1/2 x 9 3/4 inches for the spine. Position your chipboards in the middle of the papers, leaving approximately 3/4 of an inch of space around the chipboard. Apply a small amount of glue or double-sided tape, then miter the corners and wrap all three chipboards.
To bind the album, you will need (1) Black Cardstock piece measuring 5 x 8 1/8 inches. Score it at 1 1/2 and 3 1/2 inches. Place the spine in the middle. After placing the wrapped chipboard spine in the middle of this piece, you will end up with 1.5 inches on both sides, which is where you will adhere your front cover and back cover to the spine. I used double-sided tape and liquid glue, leaving about 1/8 of an inch from the spine. Place your covers on both sides of the hinges - make sure that they are in the order of front cover, spine, and then back cover.
Let's move on to the inside of the album to cover the chipboard.- (2) Inside Covers: 5 3/8 x 8 1/8 inches Papers: Moonlight Magic, Plaid It's Halloween- (1) For the spine: 1 7/8 x 8 1/8 inches - Peek-a-Boo Paper. The album's front cover features a waterfall cascading down the pages. (7) 5 x 3 1/4 inches - Score at 1/2 - Waterfall. Apply glue to the 1/2" scored part and stack the pages under each other. I matted the pages using a few papers from the collection. Let's move on to the spine pages. You will need 3 pages of black cardstock measuring 10 1/2 x 8 inches, scored at 5 x 5 1/2 inches. Adhere the pages to the spine one after another, leaving about 1/8 inch between the pages. They all have a 1/2 inch spine, and the pages are 5 x 8 inches after they have been glued to the base. You will end up with six pages. I matted the pages to 4 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches.
To embellish the cover page, I used the Hey Pumpkin paper and one of the shaker tags I created on my last project using Hey Pumpkin. You can find the blog post here .

The pages can hold 2x2, 3x4, 4x6 photos, and even larger photos. It's all up to you how you like to decorate the pages. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Happy Haunting. Xo Conny!
