Easter is late this year which gives you plenty of time to make some cute Easter treats! Today I have a pair of fun treat boxes using the Doodlebug Easter Dots Heavyweight Acetate and the Bunny Hop Collection
I used a milk carton treat box die from my stash to cut the boxes from the Easter Dots Acetate. I added some Odds and Ends on two sides to cover up the adhesive used to assemble the boxes.

Hi everyone! Traci here and today, I'm sharing a new shaped mini album I made with the adorable Bunny Hop Collection and the Egg Carton cutting file. It's such a cute keepsake for your Easter photos and a great gift idea for someone special. Wouldn't this be a fun surprise tucked in an Easter basket?! 🐰🩷🧺
To make this, I started with the album's covers. I used my Silhouette machine to size the file to 6.75" x 4.75". I cut the shapes out of white acrylic, but you could also make them out of card stock or chipboard instead. Then, I covered the acrylic with pistachio Petite Prints in dot & stripe, plaid & polka dot, and solid.Next, I cut the eggs out of colorful 6x6 prints and added the bunny and chick mini icon stickers, flower die cuts from the Bits & Pieces, and the title from the Chit Chat. I 🩷 the bunny in her pink dress and bow!
On the inside, I cut 6 card stock pages to 6.5" x 3.5", giving me 12 total scrapbook pages to decorate. I covered each one in 12x12 and 6x6 pattern papers. Above, I created a fold-out page for extra photo space. On the front, I added the 3x4 card from the Chickadees print and inside ... more die cut pieces, the sun mini icon sticker, space for 2 photos, AND a print filled with bunny shaped Easter peeps!!
Time for a pocket page! I embellished the front with the This & That scalloped border sticker and a pretty bouquet of flowers from the Bit & Pieces. I added some Hello Spring enamel shape sprinkles on top for a little shine, then added a few 3x4 cards for journaling / photo mats.
In this photo, I added the pink side of the 12x12 May Flowers paper, the green Spring Sprouts paper, and the colorful floral side of the same May Flowers pattern, but ... in the 6x6 size! I love every layer.
I hope the Bunny Hop Collection and my fun mini album give you lots of happy holiday vibes! Easter is just around the corner (April 20th) and this project would be wonderful tucked inside a gift basket, or ... displayed in your home filled with memories. Happy crafting! 😊Hi crafty friends! Erica here, and I’m so excited to be back on the Doodlebug Design blog today sharing a bright and happy spring layout using the absolutely adorable Bunny Hop collection! This 12x12 layout is bursting with color, florals, and all the playful charm we love from Doodlebug.
For this layout, I started with a brand new cut file from my shop called Hello Spring. I love the wreath shape and playful lettering, and it was the perfect base for showcasing all the spring colors. I backed all the open spaces of the cut file using a mix of papers from the 6x6 paper pad and some of the 12x12 coordinating Petite Prints papers. I also added foam adhesive behind the cut file to give it dimension and lift off the page.
Next, I created the base of the layout by trimming down a piece of white cardstock to 11½ x 11½ inches. I matted that onto coordinating Doodlebug Design cardstock and then layered the whole thing on top of the May Flowers 12x12 patterned paper from the Bunny Hop collection, this added the perfect pop of floral around the edge.
Once my base was set, I adhered the cut file right in the center of the page. I had two sweet black and white photos that I matted with more pattern paper and tucked right above the word “spring” in the cut file. Then came the fun part, embellishing! I kept it light around the photos, adding a few pieces from the Odds & Ends pack along with some Icons and Mini Icon Stickers. I also tucked in a tab above one of the photos and added a word sticker from the 12x12 Bunny Hop sticker sheet.
To finish the layout, I went in with a ton of Doodlebug Design Sprinkles! I love the color and texture the sprinkles add to the page! This layout is such a happy celebration of spring, bright colors, sweet details, and that classic Doodlebug cuteness! If you’d like to grab the Hello Spring cut file, you can find it linked below.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope this inspires you to get crafty with the Bunny Hop
collection!

Well, we may have had our usual March snow storm this last week up here in Calgary, but I am ready for spring. So, if I cannot have green grass and fresh blooms outside, you better believe that I am going to have them on my crafty table!
And what better collection to do that with than the adorable and colourful Bunny Hop! With Easter just around the corner, this is a perfect time to grab this collection again and create something fun and Spring-like. I opted for some pillow boxes from Lori Whitlock to brighten my day.
To make these pillow boxes, I used the 12x12" patterned papers from this collection. I cut them at about 5.5" high so I could get two on each sheet of paper. What is really fun about these pillow boxes is the little peek-a-boo window in the design. The Easter Dots acetate sheets that coordinate with this collection are the perfect way to seal up that window and add a fun design element. I just used a bit of liquid adhesive on the inside to hold it in place.
With the amazing designs and colours, these little boxes didn't need to much embellishment. But I always love adding a little mini jewel here and there for a bit of extra sparkle. I love that they actually play up on this polka dots on the acetate as well!
I am not sure if these are going to be an addition to the Easter table for just a fun little surprise along the way, but in the meantime, they are the fun spring vibe for my crafty space that I was looking for. I hope they bring a smile to your face too! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,
Hey friends! Brianna here today and I'm so happy to share a layout featuring the Bunny Hop collection. This is one of my favorite collections and I couldn't wait to work with it again. The colors and the adorable icons are absolutely perfect. Especially for this time of year. Here's my layout:
I really wanted to have a soft pink base for my layout so I chose the Blush cardstock from the 12x12 Coordinating Cardstock pack. I trimmed down a few strips of paper using the Everything Easter, Bunny Hop and Spring Sprouts patterned papers. I stacked and adhered them together and had the vertical strips more towards the right side of the layout. The horizontal strips would become a base for the little scene I wanted to make. But before I got to work on that, I tied some of the white Doodle Twine across the vertical strips.
Since I chose the grass patterned paper (Spring Sprouts) it was the perfect foundation for the little scene I built using the Bits & Pieces and Odds & Ends packs. I layered the floral pieces in the background and then added the bunny piece and Easter basket right on top, making sure to pop both up on foam tape. I also sprinkled in a few of the eggs from the Puffy Icon Stickers. They're so cute!
Next, I matted my photos using the 6x6 Paper Pad and arranged them in the corner where all of the paper layers intersected. It was the perfect spot for them. I layered a notebook paper piece from the Bits & Pieces pack underneath them and then added my journaling to it. My photos are of a little photo shoot I did of my Annie girl last year. I can't believe how much she's changed this past year!!
I added that adorable hot air balloon that was from the Odds & Ends pack and popped it up on foam tape. I found the "Happy Easter" banner in the Chit Chat pack and decided it would be the perfect title for this layout. And what a great place to put it!!
To finish things, I sprinkled a few of the small flowers from the Puffy Stickers pack around the page and then included a few of the cute eggs from the Colored Eggs Shape Sprinkles pack. I love how this page turned out and hope that you love it too!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends!
