6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - PART 4 OUR HAPPY FAMILY | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna here and I'm back today sharing more of my 6x8 Family Mini Album. If you missed my first 2 posts, you can see my cover post here and my pages here and here.I'm really enjoying this series and it's been a lot of fun working on a smaller scale. Here's what I've been working on so far:

For this spread, I decided to do one of the 3x4 pocket page inserts and then a full 6x8 pocket page insert on the other side. We took Annie to The Gentle Barn out in Santa Clarita and we got to pet a lot of farm animals. This was the perfect event to document since I'm using the Farmhouse collection for this album! There are so many adorable embellishments that matched our photos.

For this spread I used a few 12x12 patterned papers to create the base cards and embellished on top of them using some Puffy Stickers. On one of the cards, I added the Barn In The USA Doodle-Pop and it looks so cute!! For the bottom right card, I trimmed it from the 12x12 Woodland Berries paper and added some journaling right onto it. I also pulled in the small heart from the coordinating stamp set and stamped it a few times directly on my photos. I love stamping directly on my photos. Annie LOVED the big cows! The one she was waving to is named Madonna. She was the sweetest!

Here's the 6x8 spread on the other side. I took the Kraft colored cardstock from the Coordinating Cardstock pack and trimmed it to a banner shape and added some faux stitching around it. I backed my 4x4 photo using the 6x6 Paper Pad and embellished around it using some of the larger Odds & Ends pieces. It was such a beautiful day at the farm!

Here's an overview of the next two pages. One is the backside of the 6x8 page we just looked at and the other one is another pocket page insert. This color palette makes me so happy and it's a lot of fun documenting a few day to day memories.

For this 6x8 page, it was a very simple one that came together pretty quickly. I matted my photo using the 6x6 Paper Pad again and layered one of the cards I had trimmed out from that same Woodland Berries 12x12 paper. I embellished using a few of the florals from the Bits & Pieces pack and then adhered some of the Fall Assortment Sprinkles in a few places.

Here's the other spread. I used more 12x12 papers to create the base for each of the inserts and then embellished using some of the 12x12 Icons Stickers and then added in some of the Flower Farm Shape Sprinkles. I love when all of my kids are with us. We have so much fun together and we can't wait for our oldest to come back on another break from college soon!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends! I'll be sharing a bit more of this super cute album and I hope that you've enjoyed seeing it come together over these last few weeks.

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - XOXO ALBUM PART 3 | with Tarrah

Hi everyone! I'm back with more pages from the inside of my 'Love' themed Bubblegum 6" x 8" album. I decorated 4 pages and decided to add some cut files together with the Lots of Love collection - one of my favorite combinations! If you missed my first posts, you can find my cover post here and my first pages here.

The left hand side is a full 6" x 8" pocket, I added a jar cut file and backed the hearts using papers from the Lots of Love 6" x 6" paper pad. I adhered it to the pink cardstock inside the pocket. I added the jar die-cut to the bottom right corner and took some titles from the Lots of Love Chit Chat pack and placed at the top of the jar. I also placed a border sticker from the This and That sticker sheet under the title.

On the right hand side, I used one of the chipboard dividers and created a large photo mat and after placing my photo, added some die-cuts at the bottom and a phrase banner die-cut at the top. On the tab on the divider I added a tab sticker from the This and That sticker sheet.

My next spread consists of more pocket pages and the back of a plain white pocket page and I decided to make this spread a 'Sweet' theme! On the left, I added another cut file, backing the letters and hearts using papers from the Lots of Love 6" x 6" paper pad. I then added some die-cuts that were sweet themed.

I also added the phrase banner die-cut to the centre and some die-cut hearts all using craft foam to add some dimension. I love how the colors pop against the white of the cardstock.

On the right hand side, still keeping with the 'Sweet' theme, I used a 4x pocket page with the sizes of each pockets measuring approximately 3" x 4". I love that you can add photos and papers or mix it up and add both like I did! I added some cute die-cuts right over the top of my photo as well.

Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to check back here on the Doodlebug blog to see more of the insides of the creative team's albums! I hope you get the chance to document your memories in one of the gorgeous Doodlebug 6" x 8" albums! Happy creating!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - PART 3 LOTS OF LOVE ALBUM | with Niella

Hi crafty friends! I can smell the chocolate and candies from here as we lead up to one of my favorite days to celebrate; Valentines! I am so happy to show you my next set of pages in my Doodlebug Design Cupcake 6x8 mini album! Let's jump into each page and if you'd like to see it move and turn, check out my fun video at the end of the post :-)  If you missed my previous posts you can see my cover here and first pages here.

The so happy page is directly behind the last page I showed, it's the chipboard divider and is perfectly placed! That cupcake doily is super sweet and the adjoining pocket page was fun to fill! The papers I've used here are Love You Bunches! Those single flowers are so cute! The Happy Valentine's Day banner has my heart! Darling!

Next spread over is the back of the pocket page and then the envelope from the coordinating Cards & Envelope pack! It's perfect for hidden journaling or photos of your love! I love pulling the cutest ephemera pieces out and going golden on the decorating. It's my fave part!

Next over is the back of the envelope with the large XOXO ephemera piece. You can slip a cropped photo here or some poetry. How charming! The Cloud Nine paper is next level adorable don't you think. Check out those poppin' Valentines Day balloons! I wish all balloons came with an adorable face.

Second to last page today is the card that goes inside the previous envelope! I've adhered it to the back of another chipboard divider and this card opens up for more hidden elements. It has a sweet tab inside to easily open up for more space. I love adding extra space and memory keeping areas. It holds a nice surprise when you look back on your albums.

There is one more page left but I've left it in my video below to see!

Thank you for popping by crafty crew! I hope you've found inspiration today! Please remember to tag us in our your Socials when you create with Doodlebug so we can all admire your creativity! We love seeing your creations. Until next time doodle dee!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - PART 3 SNOW PLACE LIKE HOME MINI ALBUM | with Tya

Hey there crafty friends - I'm so excited to share my next batch of layouts in my Snow Much Fun Mini Album! I hope you are all surviving winter and taking lots of photos to fill up your own winter-themed album like mine! If you missed my previous posts, the cover post can be found here and the first four pages can be found here. Let's look at our next set of pages!!

Page 5 in the album utilizes one of the pocket pages in the album kit. This one is a bottom loading pocket that I decorated the front of the pocket and then stuffed the pocket full of lots of paper goodies.
I love the This and That sticker sheet because it always has the perfect title sentiments to add to my pages like I did here with the "Having Snow Much Fun" sticker.

The pocket is filled with a cut apart from the Cold Streak paper. I took one of the beautiful blue cardstock papers from the Textured Cardstock pack and folded it in half. This is a great place to add more photos. I cut out a section from the Spot of Snow paper, added a tab from the Bits and Pieces, and topped it with a cute snowman from the Puffy Stickers.

On the back of this page, we have a fun interactive page with a large tag pullout and then a spot for some photos showing off some snow play photos. The Snow Fun is from the Chit Chat die cuts. I love the pretty ribbons that this page has!

For the next page, I took a 6 x 11-inch piece of the Snow Day paper and scored it at 6 inches. I used one of the other pages as a guide and punched the 2 holes in the left side so it could fit in the album. Here, I decorated the front part with one of the 3x4 cut apart from the Frozen Flurry paper and made it into a pocket. I tucked a photo spot and a tag from the Bits and Pieces in there.

Here is the page opened up, and you can see more spots for photos I just think that cute little friend on his sledding tube is too cute! He's from the Odds and Ends

This is the back of the page. One more spot for a photo and look how fun our snowman friends are on their zippy snowmobile! This is another die-cut found in the Odds and Ends.

My next page uses one of the divided pocket pages. This one has a spot for a 4x6 photo on the top, and then (2) 3 x4 photos on the bottom. I had fun making another interactive element with the top pocket. I took a 4 x 10 1/2 inch strip of the Wintery Woods paper and scored it at 4 inches. This makes for a fun flap that I decorated with the "Tis the Ski-son" die cut from the Chit Chat. The bottom 2 pockets are decorated with a cute ski girl and a spot for journaling.

Here is the top page opened up. There are two photo spots here.

And here we have the back of the pocket with more photo spots and journal spots.

The last page features the beautiful blue color pages found in the album as the base. I fell in l love with these polar bears so they appear here. They are from the Odds and Ends and the Icon Sticker Sheet. The cute clipboard die cut from the Bits and Pieces is the perfect spot for some journaling.

And finally, on the back page, I wanted to use these 3 cute penguin pals so they got mounted on 2x2 inch squares of the Frosted Friends paper and then I added (3) 3 x 2 inch photo spots.

Here is a quick little walkthrough video of these pages:

These pages were so fun to create and are the perfect mix of spots for photos and journaling and some really fun interactive and creative ways to add interest to your albums. It's always so fun to watch people flip through the albums and play with all the flips, flaps, and pocket features. Stay tuned as I am preparing to add more pages to the album that I will get to share with you next time! Thanks for stopping by today! Stay warm!!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - DECEMBER MINI PART 3 | with Nathalie

Hey there! I am having so much fun working away my past December memories in my Cupcake 6x8 Album, I really hope to get it all done before the new Holiday season arrives. Today, I wanted to share a few entries of my journal with you ! If you missed my previous posts, you can find my cover post here, and my first pages here.

I love transparency and different size/configurations for my documenting. So, I had to reach for the acrylic page from the Tinsel Time collection for these spreads.

I kept the photos in a simple photo page, taking advantage of the 3x4 journaling cards in the Tinsel Time collection, but decided to build my own card as the divider/title page for this spread.

I trimmed the transparency smaller than the standard size of the page. Then, I combined one of the 3x4 journaling cards, paper, and a Doodle-pop to make the card. I glued it to the center of the acetate, and then trimmed the title from the 6x6 paper pad.

I am taking advantage of the back of the transparency to start my next spread. So, once again I am using it as my title/journaling page for the next spread, in an interactive ways.

This time, I am using a piece of one of the envelopes from this collection to create the flap behind the title card. I had to make sure that the space used pretty much match the other side, so creating a flap just worked perfectly here.

I pulled elements from the title/cover page to complete the photo part of the spread. I am going for another interactive element for this page. The little pockets hold photos of my family. I added uniformity by repeating elements in each pocket, and used the leftover pieces of the envelope to create the small banners.

I hope this inspires you to pull your Doodlebug 6x8 Albums and start adding your memories in them. You are going to love the versatility it adds to your documenting. XO

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - HELLO 2025 PART 3 | with Kathy

Hi Everyone!  I'm back with the first monthly pages of my 6x8 Hello 2025 Mini Album!  If you missed my previous posts, you can find my cover post here, and my quarterly dividers here. As I previously mentioned, one of my goals this year is to get back to documenting both the everyday and special moments.  I created a couple of page spreads for my January moments... take a peek...

I designed my album cover and dividers to coordinate with any Doodlebug Design collection, to give myself lots of flexibility. I love that it's so easy to mix & match collections!   I decided for my January pages that I would use the primarily the Snow Much Fun collection.  After all, I live in New England and it is cold!

I thought it would be fun to add a calendar element to my book.  I downloaded a 5x7 printable calendar from Etsy (link listed below) .  I used the All Occasions Everyday, All Occasions Holidays and Special Delivery Doodle Stamps to document activities though the month.  I backed my calendar with papers from the Snow Much Fun Collection and embellished with some Mini Icons and Shaped Sprinkles.

My first photos are from New Years of course! These photos made me laugh... quite the difference between what the 20-somethings and the 50-somethings do on NYE!!   I started by layering some papers from the Snow Much Fun Collection.  I added some Acetate fireworks from the Hometown USA collection and some Snow Much Fun Puffy Stickers in their centers.  My title was done using some Silver Alphabet Soup Stickers.

My next pages were created to highlight some of my favorite photos from the month.

For my first page I started with papers and a border sticker from the  This & That Stickers from Snow Much Fun.  The January sticker is from the Day to Day collection, and "moments" was done using Teensy Type Stickers.  I printed some favorite pics from the month, and added them with some frames created with a die from my stash.  I embellished each photo with some stickers and sprinkles from various collections including French Kiss and Party Time.  Again, I love how easy it is to mix and match collections!

My last page holds some of my favorite photos from the month!  I got to babysit my bestie's grandson.  He is just the happiest, cutest little man!!!  I backed my phots on papers from Snow Much Fun and then added stickers from Special Delivery.

I'm really enjoying documenting all the big and small moments of 2025!  The smaller format makes it easy to keep up with, and the standard color palette of Doodlebug collections makes it so easy to mix things up!  Be sure to keep checking back all this month for more 6x8 Mini Album Inspiration!  Have a great day!
