Hello Doodlebug friends-
I am so happy to be continuing on as a member of the
Doodlebug Design Team this year! It is truly such
an honor to be on the team. I am a wife and busy mom of 3
and I live in Syracuse, Utah which is about 30 minutes from
the Doodlebug home office where I am fortunate enough to
get to work at  from time to time with Cynthea and
her amazing crew. I have always loved color- so I have al-
ways been drawn to Doodlebug and their beautiful, bright
designs. I love creating 3D project using my Silhouette and love making gifts and little treats to give to family and friends.
I am looking forward to working with Doodlebug this year
and hope to bring you some fun ideas that you can try out as well! Happy Crafting Everyone!

Introducing 2017 Design Team Member Traci Penrod

We are excited to introduce the new 2017 Design Team to you and today we're excited to feature Traci Penrod. 

I’ve been married to my high-school sweetheart for 28 years and we have two sons, 25 and 22 years old, and one adorable granddaughter who was just born on October 1.  I live outside Atlanta, Georgia and have been scrapbooking since high school. I began scrapbooking as a way to save photos and memories of my mom after losing her to breast cancer, and this hobby eventually grew into a full time passion.  In 2011 I started my own scrapbook kit and custom album company, Artsy Albums .  I love scrapbooking products, the community, and the ability to wake up everyday and play with paper and glue.   My mission:  to encourage others to save their stories, preserve their photos, and document their everyday lives.  

My style is very clean, somewhat linear, and always colorful — every mini album or project I create with Doodlebug products fits my personality perfectly!  This is why I always use up most of my supplies in each project … and why mini albums are so much fun to make! I love the Doodlebug colors, how everything coordinates, all of the basics like twine and petite prints …. and the new Odds & Ends are my FAVORITE!!!  Every single collection is perfect and it’s like Christmas every time I get to play with everything!

Introducing 2017 Design Team Member Mendi Yoshikawa

We are excited to introduce the new 2017 Design Team to you and today we're excited to feature Mendi Yoshikawa. 

I love how being on the Doodlebug team has kept my foot in the door with scrapbooking.  Life can be crazy, but it's been so nice having an excuse to play with my photos each month and make progress on documenting my family's memories.  Doodlebug's adorable products and fun, bright colors scream my name and fit my personal style to a T.  I also adore this team for the wonderful sense of family it provides.  Working from home can be pretty lonely at times and the sweet girls here make me feel like I'm in the company of good friends.

We are excited to introduce the new 2017 Design Team to you and today we're excited to feature Melinda Spinks.


Hello everyone!

I hail from Down Under on a broadacre cropping farm in North East Victoria, Australia with my husband 'The Farmer' and three grass-seeds Gorgia (17), Benjamin (11) and Edward aka Teddy (4). We are a crazy bunch that love to laugh, play, argue, annoy, prank and work hard together. Crafting has always been part of my life however having a busy family it's confined to late at night when I steal a few hours to myself. I guess that's why I've always loved the brightness, and cuteness of the whimsical nature that is Doodlebug because it lights up the dark nights when I'm pottering away at my desk. I mean... how could you not smile when confronted with sweet little faces on darling icons in every collection. I guess that's why I love to use collage style pieces on most of my projects because I just can't choose which products to use so I try to use them all.
The 2017 is a mix of past designers and fresh new faces so I'm looking forward to continuing with existing friendships and building fun relationships with the new members. It's going to be an exciting year.

Introducing 2017 Design Team Member Wendy Sue Anderson

We are excited to introduce the new 2017 Design Team to you and today we're excited to feature Wendy Sue. 


Hi friends!  

I'm Wendy Sue Anderson, aka Doodlebug Addict and #1 Fan (self-proclaimed, of course) and I am absolutely THRILLED to be working with the Doodlebug Design Team again!  I took a little break this last year, but I missed it so much, I couldn't wait to get back.  I am a huge fan of Doodlebug - the people, the product, the colors, ALL of it!  Chances are, you'll be seeing my handsome hubby and four awesome kiddos on my photo projects this year.  I also love creating cards and other paper-crafting projects, so I will be mixing it up as much as I can. I am looking forward to an amazing year and can't wait to begin creating projects to share with all of you!

Introducing 2017 Design Team Member Courtney Lee

We are excited to introduce the new 2017 Design Team to you and today we're excited to feature Courtney Lee. 

I am a 30-something mommy of 3 little girls! Emmaline is 4, Charlotte Rose is 2.5, and Lilibeth is 9 months! They make my world go around. I have an amazing husband who is so proud of my crafting and is infinitely supportive. We live in Carmel, California with our little dog named Spoon. I love shaped cards, home decor, and 3-d objects! My favorite Doodlebug items are the doodle-pops, cute clips, shaped sprinkles, and the new collector’s pins! I also love gardening, fro-yo, boba, walking along the beach, and traveling. I would be SO excited to return to the Doodlebug team for another year!

I have been so lucky to be on the Doodlebug Design Team for 6.25% of my life! I love Doodlebug products: the colors, the CUTE CLIPS, the doodle-pops that I hoard, the sprinkles shapes and most of all the color palate. With three little girls I always need cute things to decorate the house and their parties with and I love that now most of my seasonal decor is Doodlebug. I would love to be a Doodlebug Design Team member because I can not be a bigger fan of the company, the products, and the people behind it. Doodlebug inspires me to be a better crafter everyday! It has been AMAZING to be on this team and I would love love love to continue!

Hello, my name is Jennifer Beason and I live in Florida with my family. I am a stay at home mom who uses creativity to find an escape. I have a spontaneous creative style and I like to use different types of materials in my projects. I enjoy creating altered projects, mini albums, and cards and have been doing so for about thirteen years.


In my everyday life, I'm generally attracted to neutral colors. So when I create, I like to incorporate as many colors as possible in my designs. I think the Doodlebug brand embodies the playful, colorful side of life, that I love so much.

Introducing 2017 Design Team Member Kathy Skou

We are excited to introduce the new 2017 Design Team to you and today we're excited to feature Kathy Skou . 

It's Kathy Skou and I'm just thrilled to be back for another year on the Doodlebug Design Team!  I live in Massachusetts with my husband, and our 18 year old daughter. I'm a work at home mom, managing social media, customer service and blog work for a company in the scrapbooking industry.  I started scrapbooking in 2003 when I left corporate life to be at home with my daughter, and I've never turned back!  I love adding color, cute critters and a little bit of whimsy in my projects so Doodlebug is right up my alley!

I love playing with paper.  It is such an outlet and stress reliever.  I also love the ability to create items that people will cherish.  I'm currently creating a scrapbook for my niece to document her wedding from planning through the reception.  I'm thrilled to help her document such a special time!  Doodlebug is perfect for my style... it is happy and playful.  I love to add a little bit of whimsy and humor to my work.  I would love to remain part of this team, because honestly it's become like family!  Everyone is so nice.  I also am so inspired by the team's work.  The team helps me become a better crafter!
