I am a big fan of the houses in the My Happy Place Collection, so today I have a second wooden house that I altered using the collection. The steps are very easy, I started by painting a wooden house with black acrylic paint. Once painted, I selected the papers that we will use to give color and fun to my piece .

3D TOUCAN | with Jennifer
Hello everyone. I'm always inspired by the Doodlebug products I get to play with. So for my second Spring project, I decided to use a sentiment sticker from the Simply Spring collection as my starting point. I paired it with a cute toucan cutting file, and here's what I came up with.
The sentiment sticker was first mounted to chipboard. I then removed some flowers from a Doodle-Pop and used them to embellish the floral swag.
The toucan cutting file was cut from chipboard using my Silhouette and then mounted to layers of foam board.
Most of the bird was covered in paper, as usual. But for the toucan's back and tail feathers, I used a leaf shaped die. The green part of the wing is a cabbage Doodle-pop turned upside-down.
Two pieces of wood were used as the base. Flower shaped sprinkles and Doodle-pops were added for color.
Thanks so much for joining me today. Happy crafting everyone! :)

FRENCH KISS Pop Up Cards | with Kathy
Doodlebug Valentine/Love themed collections are always a favorite for me. So when I received my big box of French Kiss Goodies, I set out to find a fun, new way to feature the adorable icons and gorgeous papers from the collection. I came up with pop-up "wiper" cards... take a peek...
When the cards are open as shown above, they have a little pop up feature... the perfect way to showcase the adorable Odds & Ends pieces! Closed, they fit in a regular envelope. I love how the collection can be used for everyday cards as well as Valentines!
They are better in action, so I dusted off my Photoshop skills and made a little video....
I just love the little pop-ups! It's like a game of peek-a-boo! Here are some close-ups of the cards while opened... I think my favorite is that adorable little Frenchie!!
Have you created any projects using French Kiss? Make sure to tag @doodlebugdesign on social media so we can see! That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Cream & Sugar Collection: Sweetest 3D Wagon by Jennifer Beason
Hello, Doodlebug friends. Jennifer here and today I am sharing a project featuring the new Cream and Sugar collection. It's true, this line is for Valentine's Day, but you'll want to use it for so much more. I was inspired by the "Sugar and Spice and everything nice" block from the 6"x6" paper pad, to create a decorative piece for a baby shower or first birthday.
I covered the front and back of a wood wagon with the "Sugar and Spice" phrase along with other coordinating papers from the collection. The wheels were painted, then matte and donut sprinkles were attached.
The wagon was filled with some fun die cuts and stickers, that I reinforced with chipboard or foamboard, depending on what thickness I wanted.
With the die-cuts on each side of the wagon, I needed something else to fill it with. Some coordinating doilies, did the trick.
The rubber duck is a DB cutting file. I used my Silhouette to cut out a template of the duck and then used it to trace the image on 1/2" thick wood. Once cut out, the duck was covered with patterned paper.
Keeping with the theme of the collection, I made a cake platform for the duck to sit on. The "cake" is made from a large twine pom-pom and wood circle that was covered with a sprinkled scalloped border sticker.
For these large wheels, donut die-cuts were used, along with Boutique Buttons and round matte sprinkles. Thanks for joining me today. Come back tomorrow for more Cream and Sugar!!! :) Jennifer
