I love tag projects, and Doodlebug makes it so easy to create a fun little tag mini! I used the Hometown USA collection to create this fun album, the perfect place to document your fun 4th of July memories. Take a peek...
To create the book, I used a combination of items from the collection. I started with a tag cut from the Tag You're It paper for my cover. It's embellished with a the silver 4th and Let's Celebrate tag from the Chit Chat pieces, some silver Alphabet Soup letters and some Star Spangled Shaped Sprinkles.
I covered the back of the tag with some Petite Prints, and added a journaling spot from the the 6x6 pad and some Patriotic Assortment jewels. I made a fun tassel using the Red, White & Blue Doodle Twine and added the Stars & Stripes Little Charmer charm.
One of the things I love about a tag mini album is that you can add all sorts of embellishments as "tags." For my mini I added some acetate fireworks from the Bits & Pieces, some Odds & Ends as well as some big words from the Chit Chats.
I also cut a couple of tags from the Festive Fireworks Heavy Weight Acetate and added a journaling circle on each side. They add such a fun look!
Here are the remaining pages. They include tags and elements from the Odds & Ends, Chit Chat and Bits & Pieces packs. I also added photo spots using papers from the 6x6 pad and lots of shaped sprinkles!
My mini is all ready for my 4th of July Photos! Have you made any projects using the Hometown USA Collection? Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook & Instagram, we love to see your creations! That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek!
