HOMETOWN USA FIREWORKS PAGE | with Traci

Hey guys!  With the July 4th holiday just around the corner, I decided to create a super fun 12x12 scrapbook layout. I've been loving the Hometown USA Collection but I haven't used its Shadow Box Insert Kit yet. So ... today's the day! 🎉 I think this page turned out so cute and celebratory. I just love it!

12x12 July 4th Fireworks Scrapbook Page by Artsy Albums

If you haven't used one of the Shadow Box Insert Kits yet ... I totally recommend. It comes with a circle template, white cardstock, vellum, and tons of adorable stickers. You place the stickers on the vellum with the help of a template behind it and when you remove the template ... voila! The cutest patriotic collage ever!

12x12 July 4th Scrapbook Page Layout with lots of cute patriotic stickers

These are so fun and every paper collection has one. The Hometown USA kit is filled with fireworks, the Statue of Liberty, American flags, a hot air balloon, enamel sprinkles, and so many great images.

Here's how I created the layout ...

I used the 12x12 Land of the Free red hearts paper as the base and layered white cardstock and the 12x12 Summer Celebration fireworks print on top.

Then, I cut out a 7.25" circle from the red Land of the Free paper and used that behind the round collage.

Next, I matted my photos and added those to the page. I chose the 6x6 stripe print called Red, White, and Blue behind the photo above. I thought the smaller size worked better.

And finally, I decorated the page with die cuts from the Bits & Pieces and Chit Chat. I used 1 sticker from the This & That (the metallic silver USA in the photo above) and added a little bit of ladybug twine to my tag.

Such a fun and simple layout but I think the fireworks and fun collage make such a big impact. Perfect for the 4th of July celebrations.

I hope this layout inspires you to create something wonderful with the Hometown USA collection and the Shadow Box Insert Kit. They will definitely have you looking forward to the holiday!

HOMETOWN USA FIREWORKS LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today and I've got another layout using the Hometown USA collection. There are a lot of fireworks pieces in this collection so I thought it would be fun to document some photos of my boys setting off some a few years ago. Here's my page:

To start, I pulled out the Summer Celebration 12x12 paper and used it as a base. I took the Polka-Dot Pride 12x12 paper and trimmed it down to a 9x12. Next, I layered a piece of the white cardstock from the 12x12 Textured Cardstock Assortment that I trimmed down to a 6x12 right on top of it. I was able to display some pretty patterned papers and also have the pretty white to make my photos and embellishments pop.

I love large ephemera pieces but sometimes I have a hard time incorporating them into my layouts. I kept this in mind when I was putting my page together and made sure to leave space for this adorable plane from the Odds & Ends pack. It fit perfectly!

I matted my photos using the 6x6 Paper Pad and centered them on my page. I then adhered the fireworks stickers from the Freedom Fireworks Shaker-Pops on each side. For my title, I chose the 'Fireworks' phrase from the Chit Chat pack and centered in between my two photos. I love the font of this phrase, it's so fun!

To continue along with the fireworks theme, I pulled out a bunch of fireworks from both the Odds & Ends and Bits & Pieces packs. I popped them all up with foam tape and arranged them around my page. I also chose another phrase piece from the Chit Chat pack and centered it at the top of my photos.

The fireworks pieces really add additional pops of color throughout my design. For some finishing touches, I adhered some stars in some clusters and added in some tangled thread and silver paint splatters.

Here's one last look at this fun patriotic page:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. I'll see you in my next post friends! xo

HOMETOWN USA GOD BLESS THE USA LAYOUT | with Tya

Hello there! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far! I am getting so excited for the upcoming 4th of July holiday- it is my favorite holiday! I had a great time using the super cute "Hometown USA" collection to make this fun, festive layout.

I thought this photo of my daughter, niece, and nephew in red, white, and blue clothes made the perfect photo to highlight. They were enjoying a fun hometown parade, excited for all the candy they were going to get!! The awesome papers that I used for my background- the light blue of the All American paper paired so well with the bright Picnic Plaid and Red, White, and Blue star papers! One strip along the top from the border strips on the Polka Dot Pride paper made a great eye-catching base for the top of the layout.

Let's look at some of the details on the layout:

A cute trio of fireworks with the fun "Land that I Love" Shape Sprinkles in the center are so fun and add great interest in this corner above the photo!

I love that Doodlebug has made acetate papers with each of the collections. I used some stitched star metal dies from my stash to cut out some stars out of the "Festive Fireworks" acetate. I love the subtle touch they add to the page! And how cute are the beautiful blue stars from the Mini Jewels? They add just the right amount of sparkle on the page without overwhelming the other shapes!

My title - "God Bless the USA" is from the Chit Chat Pieces!

This little cluster of embellishments was so fun to put together - I used one of the tags from the "Tag You're It" paper is always a great spot for journaling! I added some fun red, white and blue bakers twine to the top. How adorable is our cute little patriotic friend with her wagon full of flags! That die cut and the sign post are both from the Odds and Ends. More acetate stars and a small silver star finish this cluster off. Too cute!

Along the top of the page, I made another fun cluster with more fireworks, stars, and jewels to frame the cute "Fourth of July Parade" banner from the Chit Chat pieces. I love how shiny this group is with the silver foil, enamel hearts, and small jewels!

I had so much fun creating this festive layout, and cannot WAIT for the parades, fireworks, and celebrations coming up soon! I hope my layout has inspired you to grab this cute collection and get ready to add your own patriotic celebration photos! We will see you all next time- Happy Crafting!
