HAPPY HEALING POP UP CARDS | with Kathy

It's no fun when you have a friend or family member who is under the weather.  I always try to do a little something to brighten their day.  The Happy Healing collection is perfect for this!  It's full of adorable icons and bright colors, certain to make anyone feel better!  I decided to create a couple of pop up cards to showcase the cute images.  Take a peek...

For both cards I started with a set of platform pop up dies and some of the 12 x 12 papers from my stash to create the bases.  My first card features the adorable Pill Better Doodle Cuts.  I created a the little pill bottle, using the open shaker piece and some heavyweight acetate for both sides so it looks like a clear bottle. I used some thin foam strips to create a shaker, and filled it with both the Pill Better Shakers and regular shakers.  around the bottle I added cute little tablets from the Puffy Icons and Odds & Ends.  I love how they look like they're floating on the acetate!

Here's a close up of the bottle shaker.  The sentiment was created using the speech bubble die from the Pill Better Doodle Cuts set and the sentiment stamp from the Pill Better Doodle Stamps.

My next card also has a "floating" effect using some more heavy weight acetate.  For this card I combined the Get Well Sentiment from the All Occasion Doodle Cuts with some die cut letters using the Alex Alphabet Doodle Cuts to spell out Get Well Soon.  I added lots of elements from the Odds & Ends to decorate around it.  I just love those cute little germs!

And a close up...

I'm all ready if someone becomes under the weather!  Make sure to stop by all this week for more Happy Healing inspiration!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek

LOTS OF LOVE YOU HAVE MY HEART MINI | with Conny

Hi, it's Conny! Today, I'm sharing a mini album I created for my daughter Savanna. I used the Lots of Love collection to document her cute little face and let her know how much I love her with a special letter at the end. To make the album, you'll need three pieces of chipboard: - two covers measuring 6.5" x 5" - one spine measuring 6.5" x 1"
I started by wrapping the chipboard in the textured cardstock from the Lot of Love collection. Then, I used my sewing machine to add stitching to the covers. To bind the covers together, I used a piece of cardstock measuring 11" x 6 3/8". This also covers the chipboard on the inside of the album.
The binding is really easy - I used two standard eyelets at the top and bottom of the spine in the color pink and tied a stretchy string to keep the cards together. I got the cards from the Lots of Love coordinating card and envelopes assortment. The cards are 6 1/4" x 9" and scored at 4.5" on the longest side.
I just had a blast creating a heart shaker for the cover page of my project. To make it even more eye-catching, I spiced it up with some chit-chat, bits & pieces, and sprinkles. It looks stunning now!
Inside the album, I used some pretty patterned cardstock paper from the collection. I added my favorite photos and some fun embellishments to each page to make it pop! I hope my project inspires you to get creative and make something special too!
We can't wait to see what you create using the Lots of Love Collection.  Xoxo

SNOW MUCH FUN WINTER GIFT BOXES | with Miguel

I have another fun project made with the beautiful Snow much fun collection! Today,  I made some packaging to give some nice gifts with a winter theme, I'm sure you will recognize these products haha.

Whenever I'm in a shop and see cute items, I always relate them to Doodlebug collections.  I decided to create some cute boxes to hold the items, to make them even cuter!

To create my boxes, I used some chipboard, acetate, Odds & Ends, Shaped Sprinkles and a Doodle Pop! Look how beautiful all these products make my creation!

Another product that I love are the puffy icon stickers. You can create such fun scenes with them!

I say goodbye as always, hoping that my work inspires you to create.

SWEET & SPOOKY TREAT BOXES | with Miguel

Halloween treats are not only sweet, they are adorable when you put them in little boxes made with the Sweet & Spooky Collection!

I made several boxes and decorated them with Odds & Ends, it is incredible how amazing they look!

In the front, I added a window, and used the Stardust Acetate as a cover.  I love how you can see the little ghost through the window!

To close the boxes, I used Mini clothespins and some Bits & Pieces, which are the perfect element to make a spectacular closure.

Thank you! for stopping by. see you soon.

SWEET & SPOOKY TREAT BOXES | with Jen

Who wants candy? Today I have some fun treat boxes for you using the adorable Stardust patterned acetate from the brand new Sweet and Spooky collection.

The boxes measure 3 1/2" on each side and are 6" high. They go together really quickly.

I decorated the front of each box using the two new Doodle  Cuts Set from the collection. With the Haunted Manor Doodle Cuts I added a moon die cut from the Odds and Ends pack.

For the Treat Yourself Doodle Cuts I made that into a shaker with the die cut candies inside.

I topped each with a element from the Chit Chat pack and some sprinkles and Doodle-pops.

Full tutorial can be found here.

SWEET & SPOOKY MINI | With Traci

Hey guys! Traci here and today, I have a new Halloween mini album that's packed with Sweet and Spooky cuteness. I'm so, soooo in love with this collection. The pastel colors are such a fun surprise for this holiday with pink, lavender, orange, yellow, and a touch of black. The Halloween characters are adorable with awesome costumes and smiling faces. It's all just ... perfect!

Trick or Treat Halloween Mini Scrapbook Album by Artsy Albums

To create this scrapbook, I used one of my 4.5 x 6.5 inch Tall Acrylic Albums in black, but I only used the back cover. For the front, I used the fabulous 12x12 Stardust acetate with its tiny colorful stars. I love it.

Trick or Treat Halloween Mini Scrapbook Album

On top of the acetate, I added some
die cut shapes from the Bits & Pieces. Then, I layered the haunted house and bat icon stickers on top with a few pop dots underneath to give it dimension. The Trick or Treat title is from the 12x12 Hallo-Weave element card sheet and the twine in Beetle Black finishes it off.

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with candy, a pumpkin, & a haunted house

Inside, I covered the pages with paper from the 6x6 pad. The smaller sized patterns are perfect for mini albums. Above, I added the Candy Sticks stripe paper, lots of cute icon stickers, and made a flippie (aka folding element) using the haunted house element card.

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with ghosts, candy, stars, and pastel colors

How cute are these ghosts with the bows on their heads?! Lol, I love them! This is a 4x4 card that I made into a little page - it has space on the back for a photo. And just behind that is a page made with the Stardust acetate. I added the October tab (from the Bits & Pieces) and it's just waiting for a cute picture!

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with a pocket, journaling cards, and stars

No Artsy Albums scrapbook would be complete without a pocket so, I added one and filled it with die cuts from the Bits & Pieces. The package comes with 42 shapes in lots of cute colors and patterns. These are perfect for journaling and photos.

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with pumpkins, ghosts, stars, and the moon

This folding page has a cute nighttime feel with the black star paper (called Trick or Treat), the moon die cut, and the little flying ghost stickers. I love how Doodlebug creates different pattern sizes for even more interest. From the tiny stars and dots, to the medium sized pumpkins, to the larger plaid ... it all coordinates perfectly!

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page made with the Doodlebug Sweet and Spooky Collection

I designed the pages so that some of the die cut shapes would extend off the edge. These can act as tabs to flip the pages with, journaling spots, or great places for photos. So many uses for these and I just love the playful look of them popping out from the album!

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with candy, stickers, and trick or treaters in costumes

The 6x6 paper above with the candies, pumpkins, and stars might be my favorite. I love the lavender, the happy colors, and all those sweet treats. It makes the perfect backdrop for those cute trick or treaters!

Halloween Scrapbook Album Page with lots of ghosts and a cute little witch

This Sweet and Spooky Collection was so much FUN to play with. The pretty pastels, festive papers, and cute little faces will definitely get you in the mood for Halloween!

If you'd like to recreate my Trick or Treat scrapbook, the DIY kit for it will be available in my shop tomorrow (Friday). Thanks so much for stopping by & I hope you have fun making something great with this amazing collection!

HELLO AGAIN GOLD DOT ACETATE BOXES | with Lisa

This week, I decided to create something a bit different. I love the Gold Dot Heavy Acetate sheets included in the Hello Again collection and I absolutely wanted to make something with them. I decided to go with cute little transparent gift boxes.

To start, I cut my acetate using my cutting tool, creating the shape to fold the box. The bottom part of the box is 2x2x2 inches, so I cut out a square of 6x6, , cut off what I didn't need, folded it and adhered it together.

For the box lid, I did the same technique, except that the sides are only 1/2 inch. Be careful to add 1/16 or 1/8 inch to the lid, otherwise it won't overlap the box.

When I was done with the two boxes I noticed that they were the perfect size to put three washi tapes in them, so now they are washi tape gift boxes... :)

I created some flowers and butterflies using the Butterfly Wishes Doodle Cuts Dies that I then adhered to the lids and to one side of the boxes. I also added some enamel dots, jewels and gold puffy hearts.

I think the boxes look soooo fun and cute and can also be used to gift jewelry, cookies, candy...

Thank you so much for stopping by and have fun creating :)
