FARMERS MARKET AUTUMN NOTEBOOK | with Miguel
Notebooks are always fun to embellish! Today I have a notebook I created with the beautiful Farmers Market Collection. This notebook has a fun, original detail... the shaker which helps close the top and bottom of the cover!
The base of the notebook is made with gray cardboard number two. I love how the shaker frame, which contains small pearls and glitter, makes this notebook a unique and fun piece!
I finished my notebook with a charm in the same shades of the collection.
I say goodbye and see you soon!

FAIRY GARDEN SPRING NOTEBOOK | with Miguel
Without a doubt, notebooks are something that I particularly like to do, since you can give them a personal touch and decorate them the way you like. I created this notebook with an idea that I saw on social media, and I worked to create my own version. What is different about this notebook is that on its cover you place acrylic beads with different colors and designs to add more fun to the project.
I punched holes with a Crop-a-dile on the upper and lower part of the cover and I strung beads on the thread to make four columns then fastened the thread with the eyelets. I loved the result! I bound my notebook with my Cinch tool. I used doodlebug's Fairy Garden Collection to line my covers and decorated with odds & ends, stamps and shaped sprinkles.
Thanks for stopping by and reading, see you soon!

CUTE & CRAFTY UPCYCLED NOTEBOOKS AND ORGANIZER | with Wanda
Hey crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a project made with the Cute and Crafty Collection! I am totally in love with this collection for making cards and presents for all my crafty friends. How nice to have paper, stickers and embellishments that are all centered around our favorite pastime - crafting! Yippee! Today I am sharing how I reuse and recycle other things using Doodlebug supplies. I made two composition books and a small organizer (or pencil) bin. These would be great to give a crafty friend, to send in the mail, or even would be fun if you wanted to host a creative event! There is no limit to how you can decorate and personalize this project. I buy the inexpensive composition books at Staples - they are less than a dollar!
This little organizer bin is actually a cookie tin! I covered it with paper, and also decorated the lid. You could use it for pencils, pens, scissors etc. or put the lid on and store your secret treasures! All of the papers, stickers and supplies are from the Doodlebug Collection. I love these happy colors together.
I started each book by covering the front cover of the book with the 12x12 patterned papers. That was my foundation... Then I used all the other supplies to decorate the books. Flowers, gems, stickers...I love it all!
I really like to layer all of the things! Different textures and shapes! The Flowers are from the Cute and Crafty Bits and Pieces pack. The scissors are a Doodlepop!
I used pieces from the Chit Chat package, the Odds and Ends package and the Bits and Pieces package. It's so easy to craft when everything matches perfectly.
These are the plain composition books and the tin I started with. I always save cool tins and boxes to repurpose! (oh and I love cookies, LOL).
This book cover has a camera theme! I added a strip of repeating pattern across the bottom of each book. This one has cameras!
That's my motto: Eat, sleep, craft, repeat! (maybe I would add drink coffee!)
Here's the cover of the organizer bin. A simple stitched circle out of patterned paper. I covered the bin with patterned paper and added a sticker scalloped border. I added the saying with foam tape and a layer of hearts paper.
That's it for this project! Wishing you a happy day full of crafting and fun. I'll see you back here real soon! XO

FAIRY GARDEN - GARDEN JOURNAL | with Wanda
Hi there! Wanda here with a fun Spring project made with the super cute Fairy Garden Collection! I feel like this collection just screams "SPRING" so I decided to make a Spring themed project. A Garden Journal! I used an old kraft blank binder that's been in my stash for a long time and jazzed it up with papers, stickers, letters, and much much more! I encourage you to look at different things you might have in your craft room - things that you can cover with paper and decorate. Some of the things I like to use are - oatmeal canisters (for gifts), cookie tins, blank books, DVD cases and cool boxes. Anything can become new and wonderful again with some Doodlebug!
My Garden Journal is 6" x 4" big, so it's perfect to tuck in your bag. I put in lots of pages for lists and notes.... Here's the cover! I used the awesome Doodlebug Alphabet Stickers to spell out Garden Journal on a piece of white cardstock, and then decorated around it. How cute is that sweet fairy?!
I really like to layer stickers and different elements to have varying dimension on my projects. Here's a close up of the front cover with a sun, a rainbow and some little flowers too.
I will probably give this project as a gift, so I made some matching pens! I took my favorite Ink Joy pens and glued on some pretty flower Sprinkles.
I used lots of green on this project since it's a Garden Journal... I'll walk you through each page. Here is the front inside cover and the first page.
And the second/third page...
And the next pages... This one has a little pocket to tuck things inside...
More room for notes!
More pages....and more room for writing!
And this is the final page, and the inside back cover. SO FRESH - all that pretty green!
The next photos are some close ups of different elements.
Thanks for sharing a little time with me today here on the Doodlebug Blog! Have a happy, creative and wonderful day! I'll see you soon!

FAIRY GARDEN MAGIC DIARY | with Miguel
The Fairy Garden Collection is full of magic and a lot of sweetness. I loved it, that is why today I made a beautiful diary, thinking how a little girl would just love one!
