Introducing 2017 Design Team Member Melinda Spinks

We are excited to introduce the new 2017 Design Team to you and today we're excited to feature Melinda Spinks.


Hello everyone!

I hail from Down Under on a broadacre cropping farm in North East Victoria, Australia with my husband 'The Farmer' and three grass-seeds Gorgia (17), Benjamin (11) and Edward aka Teddy (4). We are a crazy bunch that love to laugh, play, argue, annoy, prank and work hard together. Crafting has always been part of my life however having a busy family it's confined to late at night when I steal a few hours to myself. I guess that's why I've always loved the brightness, and cuteness of the whimsical nature that is Doodlebug because it lights up the dark nights when I'm pottering away at my desk. I mean... how could you not smile when confronted with sweet little faces on darling icons in every collection. I guess that's why I love to use collage style pieces on most of my projects because I just can't choose which products to use so I try to use them all.
The 2017 is a mix of past designers and fresh new faces so I'm looking forward to continuing with existing friendships and building fun relationships with the new members. It's going to be an exciting year.

Announcing the NEW 2017 Design Team

We are thrilled to announce our 2017 Design Team for Doodlebug Design! We had so many applications this year that it took us a bit longer to determine the the right team for us going forward. We always have a hard time saying goodbye to those team members we have grown to love as we've worked with them this past year. But please help me welcome our new 2017 Design Team.

We plan to introduce you to these talented ladies before the end of December, but be watching as you start to see their projects appear starting in 2017.

We also cannot miss the opportunity to THANK our 2016 Design Team. They have been ROCK STARS; our biggest fans and support; our inspiration and a huge part of what makes us Doodlebug Design.
