SPECIAL DELIVERY MEMORY ALBUM FILE BOX | with Shellye

Combining two chipboard shapes and a paper box= this adorable SPECIAL DELIVERY Memory Album File Box!

Start with your favorite diaper shaped SVG file, template or die-cut; visit Lori Whitlock to find a full array of Doodlebug SVG files!

The diaper shapes used for my project measure 5.5" X 4".  After dressing the two shapes in patterned paper, they were attached to the front and back of a 3.5" X 3.5"X 2" box.

The inside of the box was filled with twelve decorated tags that measure 3" X 4.5".  I used the 6 X 6 paper pad to cut the tag shape and then layered it onto a white die-cut shape.

The tags were numbered 1-12 months using the die cuts from the Chit Chat pack.

I die-cut three duck shapes and attached them to wooden clothespins; they look so cute peeking up at the top of the tags.  To the other tag tops, I added bits of ribbon or shaped Cute Clips!

Sprinkles and Doodle Pops, Odds & Ends and Stickers completed each of the tags.

Photos and journaling can be added to the fronts and backs of the tags; extra photos can also be filed between the tags by months! Such a sweet keepsake gift for a new mom or grandma :)  Thanks for joining today!

BABY GIFT SETS | with Stephanie

Hello Doodlebug friends!  I am sharing another project today, again featuring both of the baby collections Special Delivery and Bundle of Joy. I have had so much fun creating cards and gift bags using these sweet little baby icons. For both cards and bags I used lots of Doodle Pop dimensional stickers as my focal point.  Here’s a look at the Special Delivery set:
The little critters are the cutest and of course steal the show, but the bag itself is a cut file I found at the Silhouette Design Store here.  I chose several 12 x12 pattern papers as well as matching petite prints to cut the different sections of the bag including the handles and pockets.  It has 3 pockets on the front and sides just large enough to put something small in each one.

Here’s a closer look at all the little goodies I was able to fit inside my 'diaper bag.’  All of the products are trial size and came in a box set which were a perfect fit for my bag.
And if I make make something using one collection it’s hard for me not to recreate something similar using the other collection.  So here’s my diaper bag and card using Bundle of Joy.

And finally here’s a little closer look at my cards.  I love using Doodle Pop stickers for cards, because let’s face it, they do all the hard work of making my projects “pop!”

For the base of the cards I used Doodlebug's assortment of card and envelope kits then layered two square and two circle die cut layers using 6x6 pattern papers.  The Welcome to the World sentiment comes from the 12x12 This and That Cardstock sticker sheet.

I think these make the sweetest cards and gifts to take to new parents complete with a little creative love and lots of Doodlebug cuteness!

SPECIAL DELIVERY BABY STATS FRAME | with Kathy

One of my favorite gifts I received when my daughter was born was a sweet frame with all of her birth stats.  It made such a cute decoration in her room.  Now when there's a special new little in our life, I love to make a baby stats frame for the new parents.  As soon as I saw the Special Delivery Collection, I knew I was going to use it to make one for a new little guy!  Check it out...

I started with the gray & white checked side of the Choo-Choo paper for my background. I printed the baby's name & stats along the bottom of the paper.  I then cut some train cars that I designed to look like the choo-choo train odds & ends from some of the other papers in the collection.  The cut files for these weren't available when I created this, but they are now in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop here.  I filled the cars with some of the adorable little critters from the Odds & Ends.  Here are some close ups.

I added some sprinkles to the wheels for a little dimension.  And of course I can't give a gift without a cute little card!  I used the new Toy Box Stamps and dies to make this card.  The sentiment was stamped on a piece I cut using the Doodle Cuts Mini Tags and attached with a couple of mini brads.

Now all I need to do is get this all in the mail to the new parents!  Have you made any projects using Special Delivery?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram.  We love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

Doodlebug Design Cut Files: Baby Name Frames with Kathy

0Hi Everyone!  It's Kathy Today with a fun project I made using Doodlebug Design Cut files!  We've had a bit of a baby boom in our family recently... 3 new babies since May!  I wanted to send something special along to my new little cousins, and I put together a name frame for each of them.

For the girls frames, I used papers from the Sugar and Spice Collection and some Gingham Linen Petite Prints.  The cut files are from the Spring Things Cut file collection.  The files I used are the Ladybug SVG (here in the Silhouette Store), the Flower Cluster SVG (here in the Silhouette Store) and the Butterfly SVG (here in the Silhouette Store).  The font I used for all of the names is Lori Whitlock's Bubble Letter Font.

Here are some close-ups of the Spring Things Cut files.

For the little boy's frame, I used papers from the At the Zoo Collection and some Gingham Linen Petite Prints.  The cut files are also from the At the Zoo Collection.  I used the Koala Bear SVG (here in the Silhouette Store), the Penguin SVG (here in the Silhouette Store and the Lion SVG (here in the Silhouette Store.

Here are some close-ups of these cut files...

I'm excited to send these along to my new little cousins!!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!
