HELLO AGAIN LOVE YOU LAYOUT | with Nathalie

I am loving the new Hello Again collection! It is the most perfect collection for document all your memories with a touch of Doodlebug cuteness, and shine! Plus, literally, it is so easy to use that constructing this scrapbook layout took no time!

I just love the pops of color that frame my photo perfectly, and all those butterflies!!

I started by creating all the banners for my page from 12x12 patterned papers from the collection. The colors and patterns are so well balanced, that it was so easy to mix and match them for my banners. These were attached to the base (Buffalo Check-Woodgrain Petite Prints)  as if they are cascading from the top left side of the page.

I decided to set my photo on the left side of the banners, and then created small clusters of embellishments along the diagonal line of the layout. Starting with the top left corner of the photo then working to the bottom right corner of the page.

I used a mix of Chit Chat, Bits and Pieces, Doodle Pops, and Sprinkles to create the title for my page. The gold foiling in all the pieces adds a touch of elegance to the page, you don't need a lot of product to complete your page.

I love how this turned out, and I hope it inspires you to check all the gorgeousness of the new Hello Again collection, you are going to love it all! XO

BUFFALO CHECK PETITE PRINTS MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK PAGES | with Traci

Hello sweet friends!  It's been a minute since I shared some pages from Rylee's 8x8 album so I'm excited to give you another peek into my granddaughter's scrapbook today!  As you know, I'm using a 8x8 Doodlebug Storybook album for this project and each month I create 4 pages to highlight my favorite pictures.

I just finished up my pages for May, and this month I decided to use lots of buffalo check petite prints with a little bit of Fairy Garden thrown in for fun.

I combined 4 colors of Buffalo Check/Woodgrain paper (bubblegum, lilac, citrus and swimming pool) with Fairy Garden Odds & Ends, Icon stickers, and Abigail alphas.  Isn't this page colorful?  I'll be adding two photos of Rylee here, each matted with the checked print.

I LOVE the bubblegum wood grain paper ... it goes right along with the tree stump that little miss pixie-cut is sitting on!  Love her!!

For this page, I wanted to mix up the photo sizes (3.5 x 2.5") for interest, so I was able to create a shiny, colorful banner across the top using two die cut banners and lots of glitter sprinkle dots ... love, love, love!!

My final page for May is a pocket page, but instead of just sliding 4x6 photos into the pockets, I decided to create some 4x6 insert cards to hold smaller photos.  Rylee DOES brighten my day ... and so does anything Doodlebug, so I hope you've enjoyed my May pages!  I'll be back later this month with four more pages for June!  Thanks everyone!

VALENTINE MAILBOXES | with Stephanie

Hello Doodlebug friends! Stephanie here, sharing two little Valentine Mailboxes featuring lots of lovely Doodlebug colors, textures and images! It’s been a few years since my kids have made Valentines for classmates and friends, but I still love creating projects for this fun holiday! Here’s a look at my project for today.

I used my Silhouette machine to cut this mailbox from Lori Whitlock.  For the main part of the boxes I used Wood Grain/Buffalo Check petite prints in Pistachio and Bubblegum. The accent colors and images are all from the Love Notes collection. I added some heart shaped Sprinkles in a few places for a little shine.

The cut file comes with a tiny envelope that fits into the opening. How cute is that?

Here’s a look at the second box.  All the images I used to embellish my boxes are die cuts from the Love Notes Chit Chat and Odds and Ends packs.

Surprise, the little door opens and you can pull out the notes.

If you are looking for an adorable little box to give or receive some fun Valentine’s, this is it! That’s it for my project share, thanks for stopping by today!

PETITE PRINTS YETI BOX CARD | with Kathy

Doodlebug's Petite Prints... whether it be the new Buffalo Check-Woodgrain, the Dot-Stripe, Floral Graph or Gingham Linen versions are an absolute must have in my craft stash.  I love how they coordinate perfectly with all of Doodlebug's collections and they are the perfect choice when working with Doodlebug's Cut files... which is one of my favorite activities!  I especially love turning Doodlebug's one dimensional cut files into three dimensional projects, like this fun Yeti Box Card... take a peek...

I started with the Winter Wonderland Tram Car SVG File.  I cut 2 of these from the Lilac Buffalo Check - Woodgrain Petite Prints and put them on either side of a box shape I made.  I added some transparency sheets behind the windows to look like glass.    I then decorated the car with stripes of the Bubble Blue, Blue Jean and Swimming Pool versions of the Woodgrain Petite Prints and some Snowflake Shaped Sprinkles from the Winter Wonderland Collection.

Riding the tram is the adorable Yeti!  I pieced him together using the Winter Wonderland Yeti Skis SVG file and some Dot-Stripe, Floral Graph and Woodgrain Petite Prints.    I love how the Petite Prints Color Palette allow me to make him look exactly like he does on the Icon Sticker Sheet.  I added a little insert into the box and attached him to it so he looks like he's standing there waving to his friends!  To finish the card, I added a sentiment speech bubble from the Winter Wonderland Chit Chat pieces.

If you've used Doodlebug's Petite Prints in a project... be sure to tag us on Facebook and Instagram.  We always love to see your creations!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

PETITE PRINTS NOTEPADS | with Shellye

Gift-giving doesn't have to stop on December 25th! I wasn't able to craft gifts for co-workers before our break, so I whipped up a few handy notepads with a bit of Petite Prints, Doodle Stamps, etc.  Let's get started on this quick project:

I purchased a package of blue notepads from The Dollar Tree.  The pads can be broken apart into five sections (the pad is divided into 5 parts with chipboard sheets).  Next, I took various colors of patterned paper from the Petite Prints-Buffalo Check and cut them into 3.5"X10.25" strips, and then wrapped them around each individual notepad.  The color palette for this month's inspiration is:

Next I stamped all of the cute snowpeople from the "Winter Wonderland" Doodle Stamps with Copic Markers (C00, C0, C2, N4, N6, N8, B21, B23, B24, V12, V15, V17, RV00, RV02, RV04, B000, B01, B02, YR24, YR27) and then die-cut with the matching Doodle Cuts.

The snowpeople were clustered together on die-cuts using the Nesting Scallops Doodle Cuts.  I also used the Borders & Edges Doodle Cuts for creating the scalloped border at the bottom.  Chunky Doodle Twine was adhered around the inner circle and a smaller piece tied onto the "hello" tag!

To the "skies" of each scene, I added various white Shaped Sprinkles to mimic snowfall.  Aren't they precious? :)  Thanks for joining!
