DOODLE POPS & PUFFY STICKERS PERPETUAL CALENDAR | with Kathy

I will admit, I am a Doodle Pop hoarder.  I have hundreds.  I love them, and I'm afraid to use them all in one!  So when the design team was challenged to use Doodle Pops and Puffy Stickers for a project... I decided to go big!  By big, I mean I used a dozen Doodle Pops!  (I might have needed oxygen after this craft project...)  I created  a fun perpetual calendar for my craft area using them all!  Take a peek...

To create the base for my calendar, I started with a brochure/photo holder cut file from Lori Whitlock which I resized to make a bit larger.  I added a piece of chipboard to the back of the box for stability, and covered the whole box with some buffalo-woodgrain petite prints.  I then used my Cinch disc puncher to cut the top and add some rings.  This allowed me to create number flips for the days of the month.  For the number pieces, I cut 14 pieces of swimming pool dot-stripe petite prints, measuring 1.75' x 2.5'.  I added some skinny alpha numbers to the center, and punched them with my disc cinch.  The left side numbers are 0-3, the right numbers are 0-9.

The front panel of the box measured slightly larger than 3" x 4", so I cut 12 rectangles using a die from my stash and various papers, and proceeded to decorate each using Doodle Pops and the Alphabet Soup Puffy Stickers.  Each month, I can swap out the front panel, which is attached with a mini clothespin.  The extra months are stored in the front pocket.

The back of the box has an easel to help it stand up.
Here is a look at all the fun months!  Those Doodle Pops are just too cute, and the Alphabet Soup Puffy stickers were the perfect size to list the months!

The best part of this project... although I used all the Doodle Pops, I still have them to look at any time I wish!  It's a win-win, lol.  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

DAY TO DAY AUGUST CALENDAR | with Kathy

Have you enjoyed the Design Team's Day to Day inspiration?  There are so many ways to use this collection... you can use it as a planner, a way to document your memories... they would even make a fabulous calendar gift with photos for friends and family!  I'm completing our posts with the month of August!  Summer is a fun time in our world... we spend our weekends with friends and family on the water! Again, I used the Day to Day collection as a way to document our activities.  Take a peek...

I used elements from the Seaside Summer Collection to embellish my calendar.  I also used my Insta photo trick, as I did on my July Calendar.  It's really easy to get this look.  I printed my photos 1.5" square.  I then cut papers from the Seaside Summer 6x6 pad and some petite prints to be 1.875" x 2.25", and then positioned my photo on the upper part of the paper to get the look.

The great part of these calendars is there is a lot of space to "play."  You can decorate the top banner of the page, and also the blank days of your calendar.  I used the water stamp from the Seaside Summer Doodle Stamps and some fish from the Mini Icons to add some fun to the open space.

In addition to the Mini Icons, I used a lot of the Seaside Summer Puffy Stickers to add some dimension to my layout.  That board was the perfect way to embellish the photos of my daughter & her boyfriend paddleboarding!

The word stickers on the This and That Cardstock Stickers are perfect as captions for your photos! And that margarita puffy sticker... perfection!

I added a bit more color to the bottom banner using one of the 12" stickers from the This & That Sheet.
I've had so much fun with these calendars. So much so that I'm planning a 2023 album featuring a page a month!  I think it would be a fun way to keep up with my monthly scrapbooking!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

DAY TO DAY JUNE CALENDAR | with Lisa

Planning gals... this is something you're really going to like! :) I've been a planner girl for years myself and I love to plan my week, write down my to-dos and just have an overview of what is going on during the current week. I also LOVE to use stickers and cool pens and soooo, this new collection, called Day to Day, is just the right thing for me.  Here's my spread for June. It's my birthday month, so it's my favorite month of course, haha :)

The great thing is, that none of the sheets are dated. They are all blank, so you can use them for whichever month and year you want. The monthly sheets exist in a rainbow of pretty Doodlebug colors and they are all dotted, which I think is super cute.

The boxes are all big enough to write down a lot of info, plus they have a grid design, which makes it easier to write.

In this photo you can see the Day to Day Month and Number stickers. To embellish, you can use stickers from your favorite Doodlebug collections!(and there are more than enough for each theme, season, holiday)!

For my spread, I used the Bubblegum Day to Day Calendar  and the stickers from the Seaside Summer collection. I love to use PaperMate Flair Pens to write in my calendars or planners. There are tons of possibilities with this new planning system and I really like it! I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do.
Thank you so much for stopping by,

DAY TO DAY MAY CALENDAR | with Miguel

I'm happy and excited to start a new year 2023 creating with Doodlebug's Day to Day collection. I chose the month of May, since for me it is a very special month and what better than keeping important dates in mind in a special way.

In my calendar I've marked the dates of Mother's Day, the birthday of one of my best friends and of course my birthday. Definitely a month of many celebrations!

I cut frames with Doodlebug petite prints papers and placed photographs in them to make the dates more special.

I finished decorating with some Fairy Garden mini-icons and some Doodlebug washi tape and I loved the result. I hope, as always, my work inspires you and encourages you to organize your year. see you soon!

DAY TO DAY DECEMBER CALENDAR | with Nathalie

Happy New Year everyone! It is time to start planning 2023, and the new Day-To-Day collection is just perfect to get down your plans for the year. Since December is our busiest month, I took the chance to set some of the plans in place.

I chose the Citrus Day-To-Day paper for the background of my page. The green tone is just perfect for the holiday colors.

As you can see our December is always busy. I started by using the new Day-To-Day Cardstock stickers to add the numbers to the calendar.

I layered some of the heart stickers on the important days then added the number stickers on those dates. I used My Type alpha dies to mark those dates on the calendar. I added a few more stickers to mark each of those special dates.

To finish the spread, I pulled the title of the month from Day-To-Day Months Stickers. I added extra stickers from the Candy Lane collection to the title and some of the empty spaces.

I hope you all are ready to get some of your plans in your Day-To-Day collection. You are going to love seeing your plans in this cute and beautiful way! XO

DAY TO DAY JULY CALENDAR | with Kathy

The new Day to Day calendar pages are not only a great way to organize and plan... they also are a fabulous way to document your month!  I opted to create  a scrapbook page layout featuring photos from last July using the Swimming Pool Calendar sheet and some Land that I Love Mini Icon Stickers.  Take a peek....

For my heading I used the new Day to Day Month stickers and numbers from the Sunshine Stickers.  The banners and balloons are from the Land that I Love Mini Icons.

We are big boaters and spend our summer weekends at our marina... so I had to add the cute boat stamped image from the Seaside Summer Doodle Stamps.  I picked some of my favorite photos from the month including this cutie... Parker is our neighbor at our marina.  He's such a good boy!   To create my little insta-photo pictures, I first cut my photos to be 1.5" square.  I then cut some petite prints 1.875" x 2.25" and added my photo leaving more room at the bottom to look like an instant photo.

In addition to the Land that I Love mini icons... I also used a few mini icons from the Bar B Cute Collection along with some grass washi.  The little picnic basket was perfect to document my daughter's birthday picnic in Central park!

I used some of the word stickers on the Land that I Love This and That Sticker sheet to label my photos... I love these words!!  Lastly I added one of my favorite characters... Steven Seagull from the Seaside Summer Stamp set. He just makes me smile!

This is such a fun way to keep up with your monthly scrapbooking!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

DAY TO DAY OCTOBER CALENDAR | with Erica

Hey friends! Have you been wanting a quick and easy way to memory plan in a 12x12 format? The Day to Day collection is perfect for this!

The calendar pages are perfect to add your photos of the month to! I printed my photos at home using the PicFrame app. Each photo is around 1 3/4"x1 3/4". Once I had them all printed I added them to the calendar on the days that the photos were taken. I filled in the open days with the Day to Day calendar number stickers.

I also pulled in some chit chat pieces to pop up onto the page to add just a little bit of dimension! October is my favorite time of the year so I had so much fun putting this together!

I added a fun pop of black and white to the top and bottom of the page and then adhered some fun scallop border stickers.

I had a open spot at the bottom of the calendar page that was perfect for this large title chit chat piece. This is definitely something I can keep up with every month and at the end of the year I will have completed 12 pages full of memories!

Make sure to check out all the Day to Day inspiration this week! If you have been wanting to try this type of memory keeping then I highly recommend the Day to Day products! Quick, easy and Oh So CUTE!!

DAY TO DAY FEBRUARY CALENDAR | with Karen

Ah February, the month of all things pink, hearts and Valentine's Day. I have to admit that I not totally into all of that, so I thought I would have some fun with a February Day to Day calendar page that honours some of the traditions of February, but really captures the styles, colours and things that I love!

Full-1

So, given that - I had to start with my favourite Doodlebug colour as a base and fill the space with die cut flowers! I also added some of my new favouite Doodlebug puffy stickers (these remind me of my sticker collection when I was a kid), and even a little stamp (but we will get to him in a minute).

Bits-&-Pieces

To embellish the top of the calendar, I decided to use some of the pieces from the Lots of Love Bits & Pieces die cuts. There are some beautiful flowers in the so this was a perfect match for February. I added a mini paperclip and a cute Doodle Pop for a bit of texture (and super cuteness).

Stamp-3

I also used the Bits & Pieces on other places on the calendar as -trying to balance the bottom corner with the top. Oh, and that little Yeti you see there - that is my special friend, Harry. He is my ALL TIME favourite Doodlebug character so I thought it would be fun to see if I could work him to every month in some way.

Stamp-1

For February, I simply masked off the sections around the day I wanted him to appear with some blue sticky notes and then stamped him on the day I wanted.

Stamp-2

I coloured him up a bit with my alcohol markers and with the help of a little sticker from the Lots of Love Mini Icon sticker sheet, he was all set! I actually loved the way he turned out and I think I will work more stamps into my calendars moving forward!

Full-2

So there you have it - it may not be all filled with hearts and references to Valentine's Day, but I think it is an awesome way to capture the month. I can't wait to put it up in a few weeks!  Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,
