SPECIAL DELIVERY CARD SET | with Tegan

Have you had a chance to check out the adorable brand new Special Delivery collection yet? It is so super sweet and filled with adorable little critters! I can not get enough of the darling little lions, tigers, and owls in this collection! I used the Special Delivery Card Assortment to easily create some adorable cards!

I love the tiny cards in the card assortment pack. The 3" x 3" size is just the sweetest and can be embellished super easily. Here I used the Doodle Cuts Nesting Scallops die to create the main design.

On this card I used a journaling card as the base design. I embellished it with Mini Icons Stickers and Shape Sprinkles. I then used the scalloped die from the Doodle Cuts Borders and Edges to add some plaid patterned paper scallops.

On this card, I used the Doodle Cuts Nesting Scallops Die Set to create a scalloped circle background for my card. I embellished it with adorable Icons Stickers and a This & That Sticker Sheet banner sticker.

This card is another cute little 3" x 3" size. I embellished it with Icons Stickers and a cute sun Shape Sprinkle sticker. Again I used the Doodle Cuts Borders and Edges die to create a fun scalloped border.

On this card I used the Doodle Cuts Nesting Scallops Die to cut out a frame for the adorable This & That owl sticker. I also used the wide banner die from the Doodle Cuts Large Tags Die Set to cut out the background banner piece.

Thanks for stopping in today! I hope I have inspired you to grab some of the Special Delivery collection on your next project.

WINTER WONDERLAND - CARDS WITH LOVE | with Karen

Up here in Canada, Valentine's Day falls in the middle of the coldest part of the year for us. But don't worry - it's nothing a little chocolate and a few snuggles can't handle! So I decided it might be fun to see how I might be able to use Doodlebug's adorable Winter Wonderland collection as an inspiration for this year's Valentine's cards. The Cards and Envelopes assortment that coordinates with Winter Wonderland is a dream! The variety of shapes and colours (with matching envelopes I might add) created the perfect base for these cute characters.

And with a little stamp masking, I was able to create some fun mini scenes, like this little bunny and friends...

...and the adorable Moose named Bruce! The trees and birds you see in both of these scenes are also from the Woodland Friends Doodle Stamp set.
And because I have a personal crush on Harry the Yeti, I could not complete this card set without a scene featuring this furry friend! With some repeated stamping of the heart, he's ready to send some Valentine love in his own magical way.
So there you have it - a set of Valentine cards featuring Winter wonderland and the two amazing stamp sets that coordinate with this collection. I hope they capture your heart as much as they capture mine!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,

FRENCH KISS STAMPED CARDS | with Karen

Ever since Doodlebug released the new Doodle Stamps, I have been crafting up a storm with them! So imagine my surprise as I was going through my collection...er....I mean...."supplies", and I realized that there was one set that I had not used yet! What?! And let me just say that I have been missing out! "You're Sweet" is a darling set that was designed to match the French Kiss collection and it really is sweet! In fact, I would say that it is a stampers dream set. It has elements that are cute, elements that are pretty, and sentiment elements that you can mix and match to your hearts content! It really is the perfect stamping set.
This card was created with the darling little girl image and a speech bubble stamp that I customized with the "thinking of you" sentiment stamp and a cute little flower stamp.
This pretty card was created with the beautiful flower bouquet stamp, the stamp image that was customized with the strawberry stamp and the piece of paper stamp that was customized with the "hello" sentiment stamp. Mix and match the sentiments for all sorts of occasions and even with the other stamp sets for some fun combinations! You will be creating one of a kind cards in no time!

So, while it may have taken me a while to break out the "You're Sweet" Doodle Stamp set, I have a feeling this one is going to be getting lots of love now! Isn't that fitting?!
Thanks for stopping by!

SIMPLY SPRING - Stamped Card Trio | with Barbara

Hello again, Barbara here with some cards using the Simply Spring collection and the new polymer stamps Flower Girl and Oh, Boy!
For my first card, I started by sponging a sky and grass background with dye ink. The images--from both sets--were stamped with Copic friendly ink on Doodlebug smooth white card stock, colored with Copic markers, and fussy cut out before being adhered with foam tape. The clouds are from the Simply Spring Mini Icon sheet with some card stock behind for strength, then popped up on foam. The sentiment strip is from Simply Spring Chit Chat and also adhered with foam tape.
For my second card I went CAS (clean and simple). To begin, I added a strip of paper from Simply Spring 6 x 6 patterned paper pad, then added a strip of black card stock. Next I stamped up a bunch of the bee image from Oh, Boy! Stamp Set with Copic friendly ink, colored with Copic markers and cut out. I chose the large die cut sentiment from Simply Spring Chit Chat and planned my "layout" around it. I stamped the sentiment, also from Oh, Boy! Stamp Set. then adhered a white panel with foam tape, then adhered the images, again also with foam tape. I finished off with Beetle Black and Bumblebee Sprinkles.
For my third card, I first covered a white card stock card base with paper from Simply Spring 6 x 6 patterned paper in the blue wood grain pattern. Then I cut a white card stock card front, cut it with a circle die, and popped it up on the base with foam tape, then added some strips of patterned paper across the bottom of the circle. Images were stamped with Copic friendly ink, colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and arranged in and around the circle. The sentiment was stamped on patterned paper that I cut out after tracing a Chit Chat speech bubble on it. I wanted something besides white for this and it worked out great. To finish off I added some Sprinkles in Lilac, Limeade, and Bubblegum.

And that's it from me. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you've gotten some inspiration to use YOUR new Oh, Boy! and Flower Girl stamp sets and Simply Spring collection.

LOTS O' LUCK - Stamped Cards | with Barbara

Hello, I’m back today with three cards using the awesome new Lots o’ Luck polymer stamps from Design!

First up, I created a bridge—or U-Fold—card. I started with Swimming Pool textured card stock for the base, then added panels of coordinating paper from the 6 x 6 Dot-Stripe Rainbow Petite Prints paper pad. I cut the clouds with my Cameo with cut files from the Silhouette Store for the “bridge” and adhered them with tape runner and foam tape after stamping the sentiment on the smaller cloud. Then I stamped the images on Doodlebug Design Smooth White card stock with Copic-friendly ink, cut them out, colored them with Copic markers and adhered them to the card with foam tape. When this card is folded down it will fit in a standard A2 envelope.

I played off the sentiment for my next card design. I knew I was going to use some glitter so I kept the design clean and simple. I started by adhering a strip of Irish Lad Double Sided paper from the 6 x 6 Lots o’ Luck paper pad to a white card stock base. Then I trimmed down another piece of white card stock and adhered it to the card base with foam tape. Next I stamped the rainbow and clouds images from the Lots o’ Luck Stamp Set with Copic-friendly ink and colored in each strip with a mid-range Copic marker for each color. Next I added a thin layer of liquid glue to one strip at a time and covered it with the corresponding color from the Sugar Coating Glitter Assortment, allowing each color to dry thoroughly before adding the next. The heart on the cloud was covered with a Rainbow Hearts Shape Sprinkles and all three images were adhered with foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed on black card stock and also adhered with foam tape.

For my final card I created some “patterned paper” using several good luck images along with the “Good Luck” sentiment. I began by covering a white card stock base with Pot o’ Gold Double-Sided patterned paper from the 6 x 6 Lots o’ Luck Paper Pad. Then, on more white card stock, I stamped the images and sentiment randomly with Copic-friendly ink. After I colored the images, I tied around some Beetle Black Doodle Twine, adhered the panel to the card base with foam tape, and finished off with some Gold Sprinkles.
And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope I’ve given you some ideas and inspiration for using YOUR new Doodlebug Design Lots o’ Luck Stamp Set.

LOTS O' LUCK - Card Set | with Barbara

Hello, I’m back today with some cards using the Lots o’ Luck Collection from Doodlebug Design. It definitely has a St. Patrick’s Day vibe but there’s so much more that you can do with it.

For my first card I started by adhering a strip of paper from the Bonnie Lass Double sided paper in the 6 x 6 paper pad across the bottom of a white card stock base with Tuxedo Strip washi tape and then adhered the card front with foam tape. I added more strips of Bonnie Lass paper and several pieces from the Lots o’ Luck Odds & Ends collection to create a little scene. This little leprechaun is adorable, don’t you think?

Next up a birthday card. First I sponged some aqua ink on my card front and adhered it with foam tape to the card base. At the bottom I used Some Rainbow’s End Double-Sided paper from the 6 x 6 paper pad and a strip of 12 x 12 Gold Sugar Coated card stock. The Happy Birthday elements at the top are from the Lots o’ Luck Odds & Ends collection and the rainbow, clouds, and unicorns at the bottom are from the Icons Sticker sheet. I added some card stock on the back of them and popped everything up on foam for dimension. I added a matching Rainbow Hearts Shape Sprinkle to each of the letters in “Happy” to finish off.

For my third card I started with a white card stock base and covered the entire front with So Charming double-sided paper from the 6 x 6 Lots o’ Luck Paper Pad. Then I again sponged some aqua ink on more white card stock and added some Green Grass Washi Tape across the bottom to ground the scene. Next I built the scene with die cuts from the Odds & Ends Collection and a couple of Icons Mini Stickers, then finished off with some Gold Sprinkles.
And that’s it from me—I hope you got some inspiration for using this collection from my cards today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

FRENCH KISS Cute Card Set | with Kay

Hi there! I have a fun set of cards I created with the new French Kiss Collection from Doodlebug Designs! Although the kids are pretty much grown, and I am no longer scrapbooking, I do still love patterned paper, and all the fun scrapbooking embellishments. They are perfect for creating quick and super cute cards!

I used the French Kiss 12 x 12 and 6 x 6 paper pads for these cards. I created two 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, and four smaller 3 3/4 x 4 3/4 ones.

These are the two larger ones, and for these I used the sheet of 3 x 4 cards. I cut them apart and then cut them out with a stitched rectangle die. I layered these on another piece of white card stock cut out with  the stitched rectangle die, and then onto a card base covered with some of the patterned papers.

These are the four smaller ones each measuring 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches. I used the smaller cards that measure 2 1/4 x 2 1/4.

I used some scalloped white note cards, cut out some of the patterned papers from the French Kiss 6 x 6 paper pad, and adhered these to the front.

I cut out the  smaller cards and adhered these to square scalloped white card stock die cuts. I then mounted these onto the card fronts with foam tape for dimension.

FRENCH KISS Card Set | with Barbara

Hello, I’m back again with a couple more cards using the French Kiss Collection from Doodlebug Design. One card is definitely a Valentine’s Day card and the second shows how this collection can be used for so many more occasions.

For these cards I used the Icon Stickers—I found that they are perfect in scale for an A2 sized card! For the first card I started with a white card base and added the background using 12 x 12 City of Love card stock and added some “grass” across the bottom using Dot-Stripe Rainbow Petite Prints.

Then I chose the Icon Stickers that I wanted to use to build a little scene. These are pretty thick as stickers go but I needed them to be stronger so I could adhere them with foam tape for dimension. To do this I added some scrap pieces of white cardstock on the back of each piece then adhered them with the foam tape.
The adorable little boy character is holding a bouquet for his sweetie—for that I used a French Kiss Shape Sprinkle. The bird on the street lamp is another one and I added several Baby Hearts Shape Sprinkles, as well. The sentiment strip is from the French Kiss Chit Chat collection.

Did I mention how excited I was to discover how well Icon Stickers work on cards? I just love them! I used them again for my second card, which is a “thinking of you” sort of card showing this collection’s versatility.

Again, I started with a white card base. Then I added three strips of pattern from the Passion for Plaid double-sided card stock. Next I added a circle frame cut from more white paper with circle dies and popped up on foam tape. Then I created a mini-scene with more icons, also backed with card stock for strength. Also again, the sentiment is from French Kiss Chit Chat and I finished off with some Love Assortment Matte Sprinkles.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you got a little inspiration and will give these stickers and this collection a try! Happy crafting!

FRENCH KISS - Cut File Card Set | with Brigit

Here's a couple of cards I made using the French Kiss paper collection and cutting files. Though these are perfect for Valentine's day they can also be used throughout the year which makes the French Kiss such a versatile collection.

The cutting files can be bought in svg format from Lori Whitlock's shop, when they are released and also in studio format for the Silhouette machines.

I made a cut out in the middle of the flower circle using the candy box heart svg and then did a cutout of the I and you from the notes and paper file.

Here I used the chocolates 2 cut files, you can't really see in the photo but I used some glossy accents on the candies, gives them a nice shine.

For this card, I used an svg file which already had the love front panel made I just added you as a cutout. I find it easier to do cutouts of smaller letters and just add paper to the back, don't have to line them up!!

FRENCH KISS Card Set | with Barbara

The French Kiss Collection is FULL of the cutest romantic images and icons ever! In addition, there are birthday items and 'just thinking of you type' ephemera perfect for any occasion for those special people in your life. For my two cards today, though, I went full-on Valentine’s Day!

For my first card, I used patterned paper from the French Kiss 6 x 6 paper pad for the background and added some Love Actually washi tape as an accent. I also added a strip of Dot-Stripe Rainbow Petite Prints to serve as “grass”, then I added the pink Eiffel Tower from Tower of Love Doodle-Pops, springing out of the flower print.

Next I added the bicycling couple from Odds & Ends with a heart balloon tied to the back with some Blue Jean Doodle Twine, and a speech bubble from the French Kiss Chit Chat assortment. Foam tape was used for dimension and I finished off with some embellishments including more Odds & Ends, Heart Throb Shape Sprinkles, and a Cupcake jewel.

******
For my second card I went a little more CAS. I just love all the happy colors in this collection so I used a couple of them in the form of patterned paper from the French Kiss 6 x 6 paper pad for the background. I transitioned between the two with super sweet City of Love washi tape.

I popped up an Odds and Ends element on foam tape for the sentiment banner at the top and constructed three Mini Love Notes and arranged them on the bottom panel. I finished off by adding some Baby Hearts Shape Sprinkles, using one to dot the “I” in the sentiment banner.
