Hi crafty crew! We're flying through February but luckily for us, crafting is all year long! The cute project I've made today is with a classic Doodlebug Design staple; doilies! And what better collection to use them with than Made With Love! Not only are doilies super adorable to showcase your edible projects, they are just as versatile for crafting with! Let's get into them!

FAIRY GARDEN CANDY BAR WRAPPERS | with Wanda
Hi crafty friends! Wanda here - sharing a fun party favor idea - made with the cheery and bright Fairy Garden Collection! This collection is perfect for celebrations and who doesn't love a party?! I decorated candy bar wrapper dies using stickers, papers, twine, die cuts and doilies. Yes, I loved using it all! these would be great to set at a table place or to tuck into a goodie bag as a treat to take home. This project comes together easily and quickly and would not be hard to mass produce. You could use any Doodlebug Collection to fit your party theme...
Each candy bar treat is wrapped with twine and accented with a matching Shape Sprinkle! I used stickers as the main feature. I used the brilliant Borders and Edges Dies to add a row of hearts to my projects.
Here are my treats - ready for giving! I adore all these colorful papers!
Each wrapper holds a full size Hershey Bar! MMMMMM.
I made the wrappers from the 12x12 Fairy Garden Papers. Then I glued on a matching mini doily. I applied the white paper layer after wrapping it with Chunky twine. I glued on the rows of hearts with clear glue.
Hearts, flowers and rainbows! So happy and festive!
I'll be back in a couple of weeks with another project to share. Until then, happy crafting!

HOPPY EASTER | Easter Planner Pages with Anabelle
To start off, I decided I wanted to use doilies. I love how they add texture and design to the page. I cut a pink one in half. I adhered it to the page and added some washi as a border. I love how it gives the spread some definition!
I added the Abigail stickers for the days of the week and used some Fancy Frills borders to define the sections for each day. Then I started decorating. I love the sweet bunnies and wanted to incorporate them, along with the egg hunt theme on this spread.
I decided to use the flower die cuts and added some sequins to their centers. I love how it gives the spread a bit of sparkle. After that, I created this book mark using the twine. I love how the colors coordinate so perfectly.
Another accessory for this week's spread is the clips I made using the Flower Friends Mini Pops. They are just so cute! I adhered them to a paperclip using hot glue. I love how this set turned out.
Seriously, look at those adorable faces! I decided to add them to the side of my TN so they could be highlighted every time I open it up.
So, that's how my Easter week spread came together. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Petite Prints Apple Treat Box | with Brigit
One of my favorites is the floral-graph, I used the pretty ladybug floral for this apple box from SVGCuts Miss Baker's Classroom collection. I just love this two-toned floral pattern! The base of the apple was cut out using ladybug textured cardstock. For the leaf, I used the citrus dot-stripe layered on grasshopper textured cardstock.
To decorate the box I used some items from the Down on the Farm collection; this and that stickers, odds and ends, chit chat, farm assortment sprinkles and farm friends sprinkles. I scrunched up a lily white mini doily in the center and glued the embellishments to it and glued just the top part to the top of the apple box so it can be opened without a problem. I finished off the apple with some limeade chunky twine.

DOILIES: Ice Cream and Ruffles by Vicki Boutin
Hey there! It's Vicki here with a little more Doily fun! I am in love with the new Mini Doilies. So many colors, so many possibilities!!! And anything "mini" is especially sweet, right!?
How about a doily ice cream cone? These little guys are perfect for "two scoops"! I had this fun photo of my daughter eating her favourite treat and I immediately wanted to make a little paper piecing.
My fellow design team members have been creating so many fabulous projects with doilies and it seems Melinda and I were on a similar creative wave length. I also added some layered the doilies. It is a super fun and textural approach. I created a little border using this application. I think it gives the appearance of lace.

DOILIES: Mini Doily Layout by Melinda Spinks
Doilies bring back so many childhood memories of my Nanna and her delicate china plates complete with lace doily and a beautiful spongecake covered in cream and fresh strawberries. However, the humble doily went out of fashion for quite some time and now it has made a welcome comeback. I wonder what my Nanna would have thought of all the gorgeous colours available in the Doodlebug collection?
I had a wild plan to completely cover my layout in doilies but for the life of me I couldn't work out how I wanted to achieve the effect so it was a bit of trial and error. Eventually I decided on the layered approach.
Firstly I had to work up the courage to actually take a pair of scissors to my doilies and cut them in half.
Using a ruler as a guide to keep things straight I laid each row down starting from the bottom row and working my way up. I simply ran a line of double sided adhesive across the cardstock to adhere the doilies.
After staring at my page for quite some time I decided that I didn't like the look of the completely covered background so I cut a large circle from a second piece of card and adhered it over the top. I was really thrilled with the result and all that was left to do was decorate.
I hope you have been enjoying the past two weeks of doily inspired projects and hope you will come back next week for our final week of design team inspiration.
