ADDING FLOWERS, ENVELOPES & STAMPING TO PLANNER PAGES | with Jomelle

April Showers bring May Flowers.
I just can't seem to get enough of the Simply Spring Collection that I keep adding to my Daily Doodles. This time I created my weekly layout for the first week of May. It's all about flowers, flowers and more flowers.

All the flowers are in bloom which can bring joy and happiness. We have gotten enough rain here in Southern California for the flowers to bloom beautifully.
As you can see here, I used the garden flowers craft kit to create these flowers. They are super easy to put together and they make any project look fun.
If you know me by now, I love creating envelopes to hold some of my embellishments. I used an envelope punch board from my stash. They are also super easy to put together and they can also add more colors to any projects.
Envelope full of adorable embellishments that scream "Doodlebug"
I created a larger envelope to hold some of my stamps.
I may not be an expert in stamping but I still love using them in my planner. I do know for a fact that I am horrible in coloring stamp images. I have tried and I failed many times. So I came to the conclusion that I should just leave them simple using black ink.
Adding colorful decor around these stamp images made my weekly layout more cheerful and not so boring if I just used plain stamps alone. Using fun color ink to write in my plan will also do the trick.
I just thought the truck stamp is so adorable that even in just plain black ink, don't you think so?
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you add fun colorful flowers in your planner this month.

LOTS O' LUCK - Planner Pages | with Anabelle

I think I may have found my pot of gold for March. My beautiful gold Daily Doodle planner arrived the other day and I love it. It is sparkly and so pretty! Of course, I knew I had to set it up for this month. It is the perfect match for the Lots O' Luck collection.

I started off by covering my insert with the gold and white cardstock. You can never have enough gold, especially for a Saint Patrick's Day themed planner!  It was the perfect backdrop to create with. I added some stickers and a Doodlepop. Opening my planner and seeing this just makes me smile!

Decorating my front pocket is always one of my favorite things to do when I create my new set up. I love the sweet leprechaun and girl and boy characters from the Odds and Ends. And the sprinkles are always a fun addition to my pockets.

I set up my March calendar and love how it turned out. I used the Abigail stickers for the month and some Teensy Type stickers for the dates. A trick to do this is not to worry about labeling each day. I ran out of 2s, so I strategically placed some larger stickers on the boxes. This makes the design look cohesive and saves you from having to use too many numbers.

I created my weekly spread on the graph paper insert. I used the Abigail stickers for the days of the week and created spaces with the Fancy Frills borders. I was so excited to try out some stamps, too. The cloud stamp from the set was used to hold the date. I added some shamrocks on the page and finished off with some of the cute sentiment stamps as a decoration. To create my to do list, I used the smallest star stamp and made bullet points with it. Everything was colored with my colored pencils.

As you can see, the Gold Daily Doodle is the perfect planner for March. I loved adding all of the Saint Patrick's Day goodies to it. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Pumpkin Party Daily Doodles | with Jennie

Hello! I tried something new to me recently and I couldn't wait to share with you.  [And, I am really thinking I'm going to try this idea again!] I decided to try planning one day on one page in a travelers notebook.  What's better to do that with some Doodlebug Designs Pumpkin Party?  I wasn't sure how it would go but that didn't mean I wouldn't try it out.  Spoiler alert: I love it!

I was able to combine functional [places to be & to do lists!] and decorative and it brings me joy! These Pumpkin Party goodies were able to help me create a to do list!

These So Corny Sprinkles helped me create a list and I will for sure be flipping to my pages and I'll be the most efficient ever thanks to those and the beautiful patterned papers, too!

How amazing is that Black Cats washi?  Oh my!  I love it and I love the contrast between it and the Abigail Alphabet stickers -- it just looks so Halloween! How could it not with the Odds and Ends?! They are the perfect accent to the page.

Have you ever tried to plan on one page?  I don't know that it will become my main planner but I will FOR SURE be doing this again.  Without a doubt. If you have, are you adding decorative elements?  What are your favorites to use for that?
