Hi Doodlebug friends! It's Wendy Sue here today, sharing my Sizzix projects with you! I was excited to have the opportunity to use the tiny flowers embossing folder along with the flower layers and leaf die. Combined with products from the "Sugar Shoppe" collection, I whipped up a batch of birthday girl projects!
My project set includes two A2 sized cards, a small square card, and a quick little tag to add to a gift!
My first card (above) features the smaller of the two flowers included on the die. I just love the whimsical look of the big, slightly odd shaped, flower center circle. I also used the leaf die, and left the middle part empty. I love the negative space here! Of course, I just had to use the embossing folder for the background.
I loved the embossed flower background on the gray patterned paper so much that I opted to use it again for my second card. I used all of the die pieces to create this over-sized flower - plus I added a little yellow doodle-pop flower to the center. I know the leaves aren't a natural color...but aren't they super cute?!?
On this little mini card I used the larger flower to back the scallop circle sticker. And I used the embossing folder, the opposite side, to create a debossed background! Of course, sprinkles and a little bit of doodle twine are the finishing touches to this one!
And finally, I used the leaf die to create this uber colorful leaves to this fun tag. I love swapping out the center piece for a fun coordinating color!
Thanks so much for stopping by today...and happy creating to you!
