HELLO AGAIN MY HAPPY PLACE LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here today sharing another layout featuring the Hello Again collection. I'm having the best time creating with this collection. It's so perfect for so many everyday moments! Here's my page:

I like to start my layouts by looking through the patterned papers to see which ones inspire me. I fell in love with the Patchwork Plaid and Pretty Polka Dots 12x12 papers and wanted to create a fun design with them. I cut into them at an angle and adhered them at the top and bottom of a piece of textured white cardstock from my stash. I felt like it was missing something so I added in the I Love You Washi and I'm so glad that I did! That washi tape is so cute!

Here's another view of the papers and washi tape. I love all of those pretty patterns together. My photo is of me and my dog sitting in the pool on a hot day. I decided that the Soda Sweet Shaker Pop would be the perfect embellishment right next to it. It's so cute!!!

I chose a phrase from the Chit Chat pack for my title. Our pool really is mine and my dogs happy place. We are in it all of the time!!

This collection has some really cute home embellishments so I pulled a few out of the Odds & Ends pack and built a little scene to the right of my photo. That car is so adorable!

For some finishing touches as well as some sparkle, I added in some Hello Again Mini Jewels, Hello Love Shape Sprinkles and Puffy Icons.

Here's one last look at this bright and happy page:

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way. Do you like to pull inspiration from patterned papers? I know I do! See you in my next post friends!

PETITE PRINTS LOVE YOU FUR-EVER MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hey Friends! It's Conny Craig back sharing a mini album using then new Candy Stripe-Sprinkles and Plaid Polka Dot Petite Prints to create the album and the Doggone Cute Collection for the embellishments!

Let’s get started!  You will need two Chipboard pieces measuring 5” X 4” for the covers, a 5" x 2" piece for the spine and one sheet 12” X 12” Bubble Blue Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Petite Prints. When wrapping your Chipboard center your pieces on the cardstock.   I like to leave about a 1” border to wrap around. Also,  make sure to leave 1/8" at each point of the Chipboard when cutting the diagonal cut. This helps to cover the chipboard when you fold your corners- if you want a clean look this is what you must do!

Next, I embellished the cover page. I used the Doggone Cute- Shadowbox Insert kit.  I created a circle cluster on top of the vellum sheet and added foam adhesive for dimension. I love that you can see sprinkles paper through it !

Inside is where I have the most fun! I love adding layers to pages with die-cut pieces, pages, and envelopes.  Make it playful! The 6” X6” Candy Stripe- Sprinkles Petite Prints were perfect to create pages since the album is a mini!  The first page of the album is an envelope. I scored at 4” and 5.5” leaving a flap to add a pocket in the back.  Inside the middle, I added three pages- the first one measures a 4” by 6” scored in the middle at 1/4 inch- Added an adorable green tab. The next page measures 5 6/8” by 7 scored at 2 6/8” and 3”. The third page is 4” by 4 7/8” score 1/8” at one end to glued as a page. On the back cover page, I added a card. That’s it, my friends! I think this mini is great to document our Fur babies or give to someone that has a fur baby to add the perfect memories! Love always, Conny!

PETITE PRINTS AND PUPPIES | With Traci

Hello my crafty friends! Traci here and today, I'm sharing four 8x8 layouts that I made using the brand new Petite Prints and embellishments from the Doggone Cute Collection. I have many Storybook albums that I love to add pages to periodically. Recently, I took new photos of my son, daughter-in-law, and their sweet pup, so ... it's time for some cute pet pages!

I'm having so much fun with the Plaid-Polka Dot & Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Petite Prints. They go with everything! For these layouts, I chose the blue jean, ladybug, bumblebee, and limeade colors.

For interest, I like to mix up the page protectors in my albums and this one has a great spot at the top for a title. I used the playful polka dot as the background, then added pieces from the Chit Chat and Odds & Ends.

Here, I created a grid of cuteness! I layered the four different petite prints with lots of embellies. I added the Alphabet Soup puffy letter stickers in limeade to match the cute little pocket, then tucked 2 tags inside it from the Bits & Pieces. Don't you love that everything Doodlebug is made within their specific color palette? From paper, stickers, die cuts, twine, and even washi tape!

And speaking of which ... I created a grid on this next layout using the red and white Mini Dot Washi Tape. It goes perfectly with the red polka dot print on the other pages. I added a little scene at the bottom with die cut pieces and enamel sprinkles. I just love the hydrant, the tuft of grass, and the heart over the door. Cute detail!

For this last page, I made one large photo mat and I backed it with 3 rows of polka dots for a touch of pattern and color. The paw print piece is from the Chit Chat and I added a few enamel dots to it for fun.

Here's a peek at my Storybook Album. I love the 8x8 size but it also comes in 12x12. If you haven't had a chance to play with the new Petite Prints yet, I highly recommend them! The rainbow assortment pack includes 24 different colors and each sheet is double-sided. If you love scrapping as much as I do ... you'll use them all the time! 😉

PETITE PRINTS FUR BABY LAYOUT | with Brianna

Hey friends! Brianna Lepper back with you today sharing another layout featuring the new Plaid-Polka Dot and Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Rainbow Petite Prints. I've loved playing with these papers! They really get me thinking creatively! I also added in a few bits and pieces from the Doggone Cute collection and decided to use only blue and yellow tones for my whole page. I love how it turned out and hope that you like it too!

I have this super cute photo of my dog getting a bath in our laundry room sink and the second that I saw the Rub-A-Dub Doodle-Pop, I knew that I would make a layout with it. That's exactly what inspired me to use only blues and yellows for my page! So with that in mind, I pulled out the following colors from both the Plaid-Polka Dot and Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Petite Prints: Blue Jean, Lemon, Bumble Bee, Bubble Blue and Swimming Pool.

Next, I pulled out my paper punches in various sizes and punched out a bunch of circles. I cut into the smaller ones to give them some texture and interest. Then I layered them on the larger circles and popped each one on foam tape. To finish them off, I adhered a Lily White Sprinkle in the center of each one. Before gluing them down, I sprayed my background with some shimmer spray in blues and yellows. Just a little extra color for my circles to sit on!

Next, I matted my photo using the 6x6 Candy Stripe-Sprinkles Paper Pad and used a phrase from the Chit Chat pack for my title.

I started to embellish using a few pieces from the Odds and Ends pack and adhered those to my circles. Here's a closer look at that adorable Doodle-Pop that inspired the entire layout!

I embellished using a few of the Mini Icons and the Puffy Icons stickers. There are so many cute elements in this collection and I love that they match the Petite Prints papers so well! I also pulled out the Wash Wagon Doodle-Pop and used the cute doggie from it! He's brown and matches my dog, so it was perfect!

Here's one last look at this page! I added in some tangled thread to a few of the circles and then for some extra color, I added in a strip of the Blue Jean Plaid-Polka-Dot paper to the top and bottom of my page. I adhered it to the back of my page and then cut into the white cardstock to reveal the patterned paper behind it. So simple!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope that I've inspired you in some way! Do you enjoy creating projects using certain colors? I really enjoyed challenging myself to use only blues and yellows. It was a lot of fun! See you next time friends!

DOGGONE CUTE GUEST DESIGNER YUYU CAMPOY

I'm back with more inspiration for the doggone cute collection, let me tell you a little bit, something that I love is to use transparencies in my projects.  For this project, I used acetate as a base, because for me this way the precious doodlebug designs look more beautiful, and all the attention is on the paper and materials used.

It is a nice bag-album and also has a box inside.  I used the Doggone Cute 6x6 and 12x12 paper packs and this & that stickers to which I added the Happy Home Doodle Pop as the main element.  For the handles I used the orange side of the Speak! paper and as a charm some elements from the puffy icons stickers.

This is how it looks opened, you can put several photos inside, I also used chit chat as well as odds & ends to decorate.

I included an acetate box where you can keep all the elements and materials to decorate your photos, I love this idea.

I share with you one of the pictures I placed, he really enjoys his bath, don't you think?  See you next time!

DOGGONE CUTE PUPPY LOVE LAYOUT | with Tarrah

There is something about the Doggone Cute collection that makes creating a project so easy! It does help when you have cute, white, fluffy, puppy photos too!

I started this layout choosing a white cardstock background and trimmed it down to mat the playful plaid and puppy love papers behind the cardstock. I love how the papers 'frame' the page. I added the paw print washi tape along the bottom edge and one of the scalloped border this and that stickers to the top of the page.

I cut out a cut file title from white cardstock also and backed the open sections of the title with different papers from the 6' x 6' paper pad in the Doggone Cute collection. I adhered the cut file title using craft foam to create a shadow on my page. I then took the Puppy title and layered it on top of the cut file. So the title of my layout is 'Puppy Love'.

I adhered my 2 photos using craft foam above the titles and layered one of the tags from the bits and pieces pack underneath the photos to the right. I added some doodle twine to the tag for some texture on the layout. Above the photos I placed a tab sticker from the this and that sheet and to the left of the photos I placed a scalloped circle sticker also using craft foam. In the bottom right corner of the photo, I layered a fur babies shaped sprinkle over the top of a paw print die-cut and adhered these here. In the centre of the 'V' in the 'Love' word, I adhered a heart sticker.

Below the title, I adhered some banner die-cuts from the Chit Chat pieces, leaving the very centre without adhesive and leaving these raised up from the cardstock. I added the super cute Buddy Doodle-Pop to the centre of the paw in the title. I also adhered small heart die-cuts in each of the toes in the paw. Lastly I added some more shaped sprinkles and some more die-cuts including the really cute dog one over on the right of the title! I also added the dog tag and wrote Baxter's name on the tag! Finally I stamped the date stamp using some black ink.

I love how my layout turned out and as I mentioned earlier, it is so easy to create cute projects when you have such gorgeous products like the Doggone Cute collection to work with, happy creating!

DOGGONE CUTE FUR BABY LAYOUT | with Lisa

I love a good striped layout. Do you? I've made a ton of layouts with stripes and I really like the way they turn out. Here's a fun stripey layout, I created with the Doggone Cute collection.

The Speak! Double sided cardstock has Dog words and phrases in rainbow colors. I really wanted to cut this paper apart, creating a bunch of colorful stripes.  I cut 2 stripes of each color and then cut each of those into 2 pieces, creating stripes in different sizes.

I  placed the stripes one under the other, keeping the rainbow pattern.  I used 3 or 4 stripes of each color. I like placing the stripes in a random looking way,  some are shorter, some longer, some peek out from each side Even though there's no rhyme or reason to the placement, it still looks coherent and organized.

I matted the photo the puppy paws patterned paper to coordinate with the color of the dog in the photo. For my title, I deceided on a sentiment from the Chit Chat pack. I cut the white border a bit narrower and then adhered the pieces to a piece of the man's best friend paper. I cut them out and adhered them to the layout using foam tape.

I used the Good Boy Doodle Pop and adhered it under the photo and finished with dog shaped sprinkles.

To add a bit more color, I used some striped rainbow washi tape, placing pieces on top of the word stripes.  I love the effect it gave, adding more color but still showing the letters underneath. Super pretty! :)  To finish, I added puffy tennis balls, mini jewels and Sprinkles in coordinating colors.  I also added some paint splatters!  That's it friends, I hope you like the layout!  See you soon.
