CUTE & CRAFTY HELLO HAPPY GIRLS LAYOUT | with Nathalie

We all are loving the new Cute & Crafty collection!  I cannot get enough of the new bits and pieces pack.  It is probably one of my most favorite add-ons, as it is so versatile.   I used many of the pieces along with more of the collection in this summer vacation layout...

I am a tag fanatic, so I set a group of them on a row on a Swiss Dot Petite Print, then built the layout around them.

I backed the pictures with the rainbow stripe paper from the 6x6 paper pad.   Once set on the background, it was all about adding a rainbow of embellishments.   Since there is no yellow tag, I chose a circle element and tucked it in between the photos and created a cluster of embellishments around it.

There is no better way to create impact on a page than to color block your embellishments. Even better when you can create a small rainbow.  I just love how all the tags and coordinating flowers just flow behind the photos.

For the title, I mixed Chit Chat pieces with a few die-cut letters. The Alex alphabet die set was just the perfect font for the title work.  A few extra pops of color / enamel dots complete the page.

I love how this turned out, and the versatility of the Cute & Crafty collection.  I cannot wait to see what you create with it!  XO

SWEET DREAMS LITTLE ONE LAYOUT | with Erica

Do you want an easy way to create a clean layout but also using a lot of different pattern papers? Why not use the new Alex Alphabet Doodle Cuts dies to create a big title for your page!

I decided to go with an 8.5x11 sized layout today and I am really enjoying creating layouts in this size. I cut down a piece of white cardstock and matted it on the pretty yellow pattern paper with white polka dots from the Special Delivery collection. I pulled out the Special Delivery 6 x 6 paper pad and started to build my title by die cutting out the letters using the Alex Alphabet Doodle Cuts.

My title is Sweet Dreams Little One and I thought this photo of our sweet Eli James sleeping on his tummy was perfect! I pulled out the Special Delivery embellishments and wanted to use a few of the clouds and cute moons in this collection. The super cute baby sleeping on the cloud had to go on this page as well because it is just perfect!

I sprinkled in some of the star sprinkles around the page as well and added some journaling under my photo. I just love how it turned out! I really like a lot of white space on my layouts but I think it goes well with this big title made up of lots of different patterns and colors. Here is a look at my completed layout.

PARTY TIME LAYOUT | with Tegan

I am having so much fun creating with the Party Time collection! It is full of fun bright colors and adorable graphics. The color palette leans a little more towards boy colors but it can be used on girl projects as well. It was great for documenting a photo from my niece's 6th birthday party!
I also used some of the amazing new Doodle Cuts Dies (Borders and Edges, Alex Alphabet) on this layout. Can you find them?
I used the awesome new Alex Alphabet Doodle Cuts Dies to spell out SIX on the hot air balloon Odds & Ends ephemera piece. The whimsical touch the Alex Alphabet adds to the page is perfect for a child's birthday! I can't wait to use this alphabet die on more projects!
A person can never have too many Odds & Ends ephemera pieces! I love layering the ephemera pieces over all of the fun Party Time patterned papers and Sprinkles Shapes! Isn't that boy on the roller skates die cut piece just the cutest?!
Here I layered more Odds & Ends ephemera pieces and Sprinkles Shapes. I also included one of the journaling cards from the Surprise Patterned Paper on my page. Just look at that cute little aqua monkey!
I also used the Doodle Cuts Borders and Edges Die Set to create a couple scalloped edge borders using orange patterned paper. I had used up all of the scalloped border stickers from the Party Time sticker sheet (bummer!), but I was so happy I had the dies so I could make my own! Sometimes you just need a little scalloped border detail to complete the page.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope I have inspired you to grab some of the fun Party Time collection and the amazing new Doodle Cuts Dies for your next layout!

HEY CUPCAKE MINI ALBUM | with Traci

What little girl (or big girl!) doesn't love a little bling on her birthday? I don't wear a lot of jewelry, but when it comes to my album projects, I LOVE to add some sparkle!  So I have a little seek-n-find for you today.  See if you can find all the fun ways I used these darling mini jewels in this birthday album ...

Okay, the album tabs are obvious ... keep looking!
Are you finding them?
Great job!  I'm sure you found some!  Aren't they cute??!
I gave the cute little cover girl some earrings, the candy got some pretty packaging, the candles appear to be glowing, and the scallop circle and banner got a pretty pop of shine.
Oh, and that fun birthday banner on the last page?  I die cut those cute letters with the Alex Alphabet dies.
Isn't that large scallop circle awesome!  I have used it on so many projects for embellishments, circular photo mats, and journaling spots.   Well, I didn't count how many little jewels I used in this project, but I think it was a few :).  I'm glad I stocked up on them!  What projects are you using the new mini jewels on?  Tag us on Facebook and Instagram @Doodlebugdesigns so we can see!
