BUNNY HOP STAMPED EASTER CARDS | with Karen

Today, I got out my markers. It's been awhile - I am not exactly sure why except to say that there were so many other goodies from Doodlebug to work with that my stamps took a back seat for awhile. But the new Bunny Hop stamps were just so darn cute that there was no way that they were not making an appearance on a project! So I give you the revival of my markers with an adorable card set featuring the new Bunny Hop Stamps!

Tada! I know - now you can see what I am talking about, right? How could I not devote some time and energy to these cuties?

Two adorable bunnies and a darling chick together with a host of background items like a tree, eggs, grass and a happy sun! The combinations with this set are endless. I teamed them up with the coordinating Cards & Envelopes and some of the 6x6 patterned paper. I used some of the die cuts from the Bits and Pieces set for some added layers and patterns.

And then I topped it all of with some of the amazing Bitty Beans - Shape Sprinkles. I love them! It actually looks like I have just spilled some jelly beans on the front of the cards. It really is a fabulous, fun addition to the cards.

Well, I have absolutely no regrets on this project and am so glad that the stamping tools came out of the crafty cupboard. I loved every minute of working with these projects and I hope they brought a smile to your face too!  Thanks for stopping by!

BUNNY HOP LARGE TAGS | with Niella

Hippy Hop it's a bunny hop kinda day with these larger adorable tags I created for you today! With Easter fast approaching and everyone getting their goodie baskets ready, why not top of your gift with a Bunny Hop tag! These larger 6 x 3.5 inch tags have more room to decorate, more to love and have that extra pizzazz ready for gift giving!

I started with the 12x12 patterned papers and picked a variety of colors and backgrounds. The carrot paper (carrot patch) is so sweet and the cute peeps style paper (everything Easter)? Yes, please!

I then went ahead and picked contrasting 6x6 inch patterned papers to go onto white cardstock,  then stitched onto the main tag. The white cardstock helps to pop the top paper. Then I decorated each large tag with the gorgeous Odds & Ends, Bits & Pieces and the stickers from This & That sticker sheet. The final touch to the tags is the dotting of the puffy stickers here and there. I'm big into small details, I know y'all are too!

Lastly, I punched holes in the tags and then tied some Doodle Twine onto each! Don't you just LOVE the colors! I've knotted each end which helps with fraying, but I just love this little touch as well!

If you made it all the way to the end of this post: BONUS! Here is a video showcase!

Thank you crafty crew for hopping by today! I hope I gave you a crafty hit of inspiration! Don't forget to tag us in on your socials - we're looking forward to seeing your next Doodlebug Design project! Until next time; doodle doo!

DOODLE STAMPS EASTER CARDS | with Kathy

Easter will be here before we know it!  I got a head start on some fun Easter Cards using both the Hoppy Easter and Hippity Hoppity Doodle Stamps and Doodle Cuts.  These sets go so well together, it's easy to create fun little scenes.  Take a peek...

For my first card, I mixed the cute little bunnies and Egg Hunt sign from the Hoppy Easter Doodle Stamps with the trees and fence from the Hippity Hoppity Doodle Stamps.  The cloud paper is from the Spring Things Collection, and is called April Showers.  This is one of my all time favorite paper!  I think I may have bought about 20 sheets worth!!!  The grass was made from citrus Gingham Linen Petite Prints.

I just love those little bunnies peeking out from the grass!  For my next card I got to use my all time favorite Doodlebug stamp.... the adorable little bunnies in the punch buggy car from the Hippity Hoppity Stamps.  I set up a scene where they were driving through the trees.

The little bunnies peeking out the back window... they are just too cute!!  And I think that a pink punch buggy would be awesome!

Have you made any cards with the Hoppy Easter or Hippity Hoppity Doodle Stamps?  Be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram, we always love to see what you create!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

HIPPITY HOPPITY EASTER CARDS | with Karen

There is something about all the cuteness of Easter that I just love.  Bunnies, chickies, pretty flowers, new grass - it really is a hopeful time of the year.  Add the Doodlebug brand of cuteness into the mix and it's probably safe to say that I could make Easter themed crafts all year.

So I was really egg-cited (sorry, I couldn't resist) to be able to share some more inspiration with you from the Hippity Hoppity collection.  Any excuse to pull out the adorable stamp sets that go with this collection is a good excuse!

All-3-1

These cards were created with the help of the coordinating die sets that come with Doodlebug stamps.  Although I really like fussy cutting, Doodle cuts make the process so much easier.  When I want to pile on as many stamps as I can onto my cards - and with this many cute ones to choose from, who wouldn't, Doodle cuts are my go to!

And the great this is that with just a couple of well places embellishments....

Spring is the time for new beginnings and fresh starts!  So if you haven't picked up your Hippity Hoppity collection yet, do it!  It is a fresh start that will have you smiling from ear to ear (sorry - I will stop now)!

Thanks for stopping by!

HIPPITY HOPPITY STAMPED CARDS | with Wanda

Hello everyone! It's getting close to Easter and today I'm sharing fun Easter cards made with the super awesome Hippity Hoppity Collection, and featuring the two stamp sets that come in this collection. I love to stamp and color, don't you? Combine a clean and simple card layout, some sweet patterned papers and embellishments...and you have Easter cards ready to go! I made three cards to share. All use basically the same layout. This is a great layout/sketch to save for any occasion. You could use a Doodle Pop at the main image if you're not a stamper!

Here are my three cards - they are all A2 sized with white card bases. I covered the fronts with patterned paper from the Hippity Hoppity 6x6 paper pad - it's the perfect scale for card making.

How adorable is that carrot car!? I think I need a carrot car! I stamped and die cut out all the images and colored them with Copic Markers. These cards use the Hippity Hoppity Doodle Stamps and the Hoppy Easter Doodle Stamps. Both have matching die cuts!

I like to add white gel pen accents to my stamped images. I mounted everything with foam tape. For my finishing touches I used Doodlebug Twine and Mini Jewels in coordinating colors.

I couldn't resist that cute flying bunny, and made him look like he's jumping into a colorful pile of Jelly Beans! I used marker colors to match that fun plaid paper. As an accent on all three cards I used the Petite Gingham 6 x 6 paper pad also.

HIPPITY HOPPITY BOX CARDS | with Kathy

Are you ready???  I have some REALLY fun news to share...  the Doodlebug Hippity Hoppity SVG files will be available starting tomorrow in the Lori Whitlock SVG Shop and they are ADORABLE!!! (They will also be submitted to the Silhouette Store)  I was lucky enough to get a sneaky peek of the files, and used a couple of them to make some fun box cards.  Take a peek...

I'm going to be honest, it took me a good hour to decide which files to use... they are all so fun!  But in the end, the Bunny in Bucket and Carrot Car files won out!  I just love converting Doodlebug's SVG files from flat to 3D!  If you'd like to see how I do it, I did a tutorial a few years ago giving general instructions for how I convert a file.  You can find that tutorial here.

I started with the bunny in the bucket... that little cottontail sticking up in the air just won me over!  I used the purple side of the Hippity Hoppity paper for my bucket and trimmed it with some Woodgrain Petite Prints.  I cut the little bunny bottom from some petite prints and used the pink check side of the Easter Egg Stripe Paper for the little paw pads.  I embellished the file with some Odds & ends pieces and a glitter sprinkle for the pail handle.

Ok, how ridiculously cute is the little bunny driving a carrot car??  I mean... really...  I used the carrot side of the Mr. Cottontail paper for the body of his car and the grassy side of the Baby Carrots paper for the carrot top.  The rest was pieced using some coordinating petite prints.  I love how easy it is to find papers to match throughout all of Doodlebug's collections!  I finished off the car with some mini jewels on the tires, a chit chat piece and a carrot sprinkle from the Hippity Hoppity Shaped Sprinkles.

If you make something with the Hippity Hoppity Collection and/or Cut files, be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on Facebook and Instagram.  We love to see what our fans create!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek!

HIPPITY HOPPITY EASTER CARDS | with Lisa

It's almost Easter and I can't wait to create more Easter projects. Even though, I don't celebrate Easter in the traditional, religious way, I think it's a perfect holiday to celebrate the beginning of Spring and all the happy and good things we have in our lives :) I love to use pastel colors for Easter and the new Hippity Hoppity collection has just the right mix of cute colors.  This time, I decided to create two cute cards, using the stamps and dies, glitter, sequins and my favorite patterned paper from the collection.

I don't use stamps very often and since I prefer to create layouts, I'm not used to use them. But the stamps and matching dies in the collection are so cute, that I thought I absolutely needed to use them.  So I started by stamping out the images that I wanted to have for my cards, with black ink and then I painted them using watercolors.

While those were drying, I cut out rectangles from white cardstock and my favorite patterned paper from the collection. I splattered some paint on the white cardstock to create texture and interest on the background, then I adhered it to the patterned paper. When my little icons were dry, I cut them, using the matching dies.

To give the little critters a cute little touch, I added some glitter to some parts of the bodies and to the bow on the basket of eggs. It's looks amazing... I LOVE holographic glitter!! :)

While that was drying, I adhered my background to card bases in blue and pink, that I had created using Doodlebug cardstock. I then thought that it needed more detail and I decided to stitch all around the white cardstock, using a color changing, pastel thread.

I added my little images to the cards using foam squares, to make them pop, and also added a sentiment from the Chit Chat die cuts.  Finally, I stitched on some sequins with a French knot.

I really love how the cards turned out.  They are super simple, but the stitched border, glitter and sequin details, make them look so cute and perfect.  Thank you so much for stopping by and I really hope you like the cards and are inspired to create some too.

HOPPY EASTER | Easter Cards with Kay

Hi there! These adorable little bunnies from the new Hoppy Easter Stamp set hopped right into my heart! They are so cute! This stamp set makes adorable Easter cards, but also has some fun sentiments that make it perfect for  many other occasions too.

For my first card, I watercolored the background using Distress inks and the sprinkled with water. The sweet little images were all colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added to the card with foam tape.

For my second card, I used some papers from the Hoppy Easter 6x6 paper pad and from the Floral Graph Rainbow Petite Prints 6x6 pad. I also die cut some clouds for the background.

All of the cute images were colored with Copic markers, cut out with the coordinating dies, and added with foam tape.
