Here I am today with the Hey Pumpkin collection that is super cute, inspiring and so creepy fun! My project is stuffed envelopes! And a bonus video at the end showing all the super cuteness overload!

I love to gift and these are sure to please the recipient! I stuffed these with crafty goodies, but you could package up candy, stickers and even store cards to gift! So many possibilities. How about creating a bunch to store your ephemera pieces or popping in your memory keeping folders! How about a scrapbook page or slipped into an album - eek, so many ideas!

For the envelopes, I've used the papers Sprinkling of Fun and Moonlight Magic! The colours and simplicity of the background makes projects ideal because you can have your layered Odds and Ends ephemera pop!

The cute faces of the icons are so stinkin' cute! They all have a personality and love to be showcased! See that cute ghostie popping out saying Hey Boo! and we all adore that witch with the glasses! Eek! And those wee chubby pumpkins? Yes please!

I loved them empty, but I LOVE them packed with goodies! You could make Halloween decor with these are use them as take home goodie gifts or table place names for seating! I kid you not on how cute they all turned out :-)

FUN AT THE PARK MEMORABELIA POCKETS | with Conny

Hey crafty friends, today, I'm thrilled to share a guide on creating four adorable pockets with the fantastic Fun at the Park collection. This project requires paper from the collection, scissors, and a trim board. I've chosen four 12x12 papers, and you'll need to trim two inches off one side to create a pieces measuring 12X10 inches. To craft the pocket, start by scoring a 3" x 7.5" section on the 10-inch side and a 3" x 10" section on the longest side, which is 12" in total. Then, remove the corners at the scored lines. If you need visual guidance, check the accompanying photo.  For the pocket's longest flap (3 inches), you have the option to round the corners. For the bottom flap, which measures 2 inches, you can miter and round the corners. Feel free to refer to the accompanying photo for further visual assistance.
To create the closure, I cut two circles with a 1.5" diameter for each pocket with a Circle punch. After,  with my Crop-A-Dile tool, I punched a hole in the middle of each 1.5-inch circle. Additionally, on the pocket flap at 2 1/4", I located the midpoint before adhering the pocket together. For the top circle, I inserted a standard eyelet and attached a string at the top.

I decorated my pockets with an assortment of odds & ends, colorful stickers, and unique pieces from the collection.

These pockets can be used to hold all your photos and memorabilia from the park! We appreciate your visit! Wishing you a fantastic day! Xo, Conny!

Collectible Pin Challenge: String Envelopes by Wendy Sue

Hi Doodlebug friends, it's Wendy Sue here today!!  Are you loving all of the fun collectible pin ideas from my fellow design team members?  I sure am! I decided to use my pins to make a gift or card a little bit extra special - these pins were used as part of the "string closure" systems on envelopes and gift boxes!  Simply replace one of the brads with a cute pin.  But be sure to tell the recipient that the pin is part of the gift - and totally removable!!

The two smaller items are gift boxes and the taller piece in the middle is an envelope!  The container is slightly different, but the collectible pin closure system is the same!  Here's a closer look at each piece:

The grasshopper pin made the perfect addition to this sweet little polkadot envelope:

And who could resist this coffee cup pin?  not me!!!

And finally, this little chick is just perfect for a little gift box!

Be sure to check every day through the next week for even MORE fun ways to use these adorable pins!

Treat Bags as Mini Card Envelopes

Our team has been busy sharing fun ideas for our super fun treat bags - and we aren't finished yet!  Wendy Sue is here today sharing a fun idea for turning these cute bags into envelopes for mini cards!

I just love the little treat bags that coordinate with the "hip hip hooray" collection.  They are about 3 1/2" x 5" in size -just the perfect size for holding a mini card - ideal for tucking into a gift bag or attaching to a package!
Here's a look at each card and envelope set, with some instructions for creating the envelopes.

First, I embellished each treat bag by wrapping doodle twine around the bottom portion of each bag.
Next, I added a ticket embellishment from the "hip hip hooray tickets" set.
I used foam adhesive dots under each ticket for a bit of dimension.
After folding over the top flap of the bag, I placed a small sticker from the "this & that" cardstock sticker sheet in the center of the top flap.
Finally, I added a coordinating "sprinkle" to the center of each sticker.

After the envelopes were completed, I used coordinating items to create mini cards to tuck into each envelope!
Some of the additional "hip hip hooray" supplies I used on the cards include:
* icons cardstock stickers
