OVER THE RAINBOW - MARCH MEMORIES | with Kathy

I've completely enjoyed keeping up with my Hello 2025 Album, so I decided to do a few more pages using the super fun Over the Rainbow collection.  I love this collection because you can use it for St. Patrick's Day, Spring, or everyday!

For my first page, I used the citrus Floral/Graph Petite Prints from the coordinating Petite Prints pack as my background.  The big tag was cut from the B-side of the Shine Bright paper.  I love how it anchors my photo!  I embellished with a border sticker and tab from the This & That and a chit chat sentiment. For my title I used some Swimming Pool Alphabet Soup letters.

My next spread takes full advantage of the St. Patrick's Day themed elements in the collection!  We had a mini photo session with my bestie's grandson in his sweet hand knit Irish sweater!

I matted my first photo using layers of papers from the 6x6 pad.  I embellished with some Chit Chat pieces and then added some little daisy sprinkles from the Lots O' Luck Shaped Sprinkles.

My next page features our favorite photos from the session.  I embellished the photos with a combination of This & That, Mini Icons and Puffy Icons.  My journaling piece is from the Bits & Pieces pack, and I added a few Lots O' Luck Clover shaped sprinkles.  I loved the So Lucky Shaker-pop so I added it on the outside of the page insert.

My last pages feature photos from my favorite crafty event... the Crop on the Cape!  I've been going for over 20 years!  It always happens right around St. Patrick's Day, so the Over the Rainbow collection was perfect!

The ladies at my table took lots of pics this year!  On the first half of my spread I featured all the fun photos from our dinners (and one to prove we actually did craft....lol)  I embellished the photos with Stickers from the This & That Sheet and some mini icons.  My journal spot comes from the Bits & Pieces pack and I embellished with a few flowers from the Spring Garden Shaped Sprinkles.

For my last page, I started with a fun cut file I purchased in the Silhouette Store (link below).  I sized it to fit my 6x8 page, and backed it with the 6x6 version of the Over the Rainbow paper.  I added some color coordinated This & That and Puffy Icon stickers to the stipes.

The Over the Rainbow collection is such a fun collection, and it can be used for so many things!  If you've created something using the collection, be sure to tag Doodlebug Design on socials!  We love to see what you create.  That's it for me today, thank you for stopping by to peek!

HOME SWEET HOME ALBUM HELLO AGAIN MINI | with Lisa

This week, I allowed myself a small break from Christmas scrapping and used one of my favorite Doodlebug collections , the wonderful Hello Again!  I used it to decorate my Home Sweet Home chipboard album.

This would be such a cool gift for friends and family!  Whether they just moved into a new house,  or to document the first year or special occasion in a new house, it's perfect! The vibes of the Hello Again collection are sooo happy and fun and like I said a few times already, I LOVE all the gold in it.

To make the cutting of the pattern papers for the pages easier and faster this time, I created cut files and let my Silhouette do the cutting work :) For the curtains, I just cut out triangles and adhered them to the back of the windows. I also used hanging flowerpot stickers to add behind the windows, looks cute... :)

As a tassel, I added shimmering tulle to one of the binding rings, (which I replaced by teal ones) and I also added two little charmers!

Let's take a peek into the album...

Some journaling spots and die cuts...

A piece of the lovely gold dotted acetate...

For the pages of the album, I tried to an assortment of the embellishments from the collection. I also cut out a page from the gold dots acetate sheet. I love the page with the dimensional butterflies and the pink one with all the stickers around the borders.  I added some tulle on two of the pages, which I think looks so cute. I always need to think of leaving some space for the photos, otherwise I would never stop decorating and wouldn't have any pages left for photos... ;) Try making your own Home Sweet Home album, it's so much fun! See you soon...

HOME SWEET HOME CHIPBOARD ALBUM - HELLO AGAIN | with Nathalie

I hope you have all been enjoying all the inspiration using the new Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album. Well, I have a new idea for your albums and one of my favorite Doodlebug collections, Hello Again.

I wanted something that could house everyday memories in a cute way. So, I decided to go for a simple design for the cover of the album. I used Petite Prints and Hello Again as well as the templates included in the album package.

I decided to split the inside pages on an easy formula for photos and journaling. I am using simple pages for photos, with interactive pages with space for journaling and extra photos. I repeat this throughout the album.

In addition, I am opting for using a combination of simple Petite Prints with patterned papers from the Hello Again collection for each of the page stops. This helped me to easily combine patterns, and embellish the page.

I love large photos, and each page of the album can easily accommodate a 5x7 photo per page. So, I decided to pair the large photo with an interactive element. Gotta love how easily the patterned papers combine in each Doodlebug collection.

As I moved through the album, I made sure to stay with one of the collection colors as the starting point for the page. It made it easier to keep the album and patterned papers coherent and fun without overwhelming the pages as it album progressed.

I hope this inspired you to take a look at the new Doodlebug House Chipboard Albums. You are going to love personalizing them with your favorite collections.  XO!

HELLO AGAIN MINI ALBUM | with Tya

I have always loved making mini albums - although I haven't designed them very often as of late. When I saw the 'Hello Again" collection - I knew that I needed to pull out my mini album supplies again and get to work! This time I decided to make an album on the smaller side than I normally do, and I have to say - I think I have fallen in love with it! This album is made using a 4x4 inch binder and I had the MOST fun filling it up with more goodies from the "Hello Again" collection!

As you can see- I decorated the front with lots of pattern papers, die cuts, and Bling! On the side, I was able to use a bit of the Gold Dot Acetate and the Just Charming Clip to make a cute slip-in for the bookplate. I also added the "Memories" sticker to the acetate.

Next the fun part! Decorating the inside! Many of the pages of my album were made by hand and then I glued them to a white paper tab cut file that I found that fit this size album. It made the pages so much easier to turn that way! And lots of Odds and Ends, and shaped sprinkles were used to decorate this first page!
\
The album also came with a few page protectors that I used to make some fun interactive pages for my album. Isn't this happy sun from the "Hello Again" 3x4 card cut apart paper so cute? This flap lifts up to reveal more spots to add photos.

I was able to layer  my pages with many of the die cuts from the collection! I also was able to add a few of the fun Puffy Stickers in as well! I love those little guys! You can see a small peek of the envelope page I made on the right-hand side using my envelope-making tool to add another custom page to the album! The possibilities are endless!

The 4x4-sized cards on the Patchwork Plaid cut-apart paper were the perfect size for an album like this as you can see on the left-hand side page. I also cut one of the tags from the Just Because paper and added it right to one of the rings of the album for some variety!

Another flip-out page here opens up to reveal more space for photos. Isn't the rainbow on this card so fun! I layered one of the rainbows in the Odds and Ends right over the top of the rainbow already on the card with some foam tape for dimension!

On the right-hand side of the page- you will see yet again another custom shape I added to the album. I took a circle die cut that is cut in half and added it to my page tab. I then was able to add a photo mat that was hanging off the edge of the page for some fun variety. How lovely is that gold foil tag from the Bits and Pieces? It was the perfect size for this page!

Here is the other side of that half-circle page. As you can see, a 2x2 size photo would be adorable in this spot! On the right side, I made a pocket card layered with one of the stickers from the This and That sticker sheet! I added a gold foil tab to one of the 4x4 cut-apart cards, and this piece pulls out from the pocket for more photo or journaling space!

Here is the other side of the pocket card and the last page of the album. The florals in the collection just HAD to be the focal point of one of my pages! Why not end on this lovely spray of florals from the Bits and Pieces!

A full video walkthrough of this album can be found here over on my YouTube channel! I had an absolute ball creating this little cutie and I hope I have inspired you to make a mini album of this size and fill it up with all of those "Life is Beautiful" memories and photos that you have! Thanks for stopping by today - Happy Crafting Friends!

HELLO AGAIN GOOD TIMES LAYOUT | with Tarrah

You can't go past a pretty round design on a scrapbook layout right? Especially when it comes to using the gorgeous Hello Again collection!  All the florals and butterflies are so gorgeous! I just love them! The photo that I am documenting suited this collection perfectly!

I took 2 sheets of the Forever Flowers paper and completely fussy cut the scalloped circle. I then cut this piece in half and set it aside. I took the other sheet and using my craft knife, I carefully and partially cut the scallops out on the top only. I trimmed this whole piece to measure 11' x 11' and adhered it to the Pink Poppies paper. I then bent back the scallops that I had cut out to reveal some of the pink in the background paper. I then took the half piece I cut first, flipped it over and adhered this piece using craft foam, to the bottom half of the scalloped circle, I placed craft foam adhesive to the bottom parts of the circle only so that I could create a sort of pocket to tuck items in.

I took one of the scalloped border stickers from the This and That Cardstock Stickers and placed it along the straight edge of the pocket. I placed my photo on the left side of the page, layering a few Bits and Pieces cardstock pieces behind. I adhered a sun cardstock die-cut piece and a puffy sun on top in the top right corner of my photo. I adhered my title to the right of my photo using craft foam pieces to add some dimension to my page. I tucked in one of the round die-cuts and also placed a rainbow puffy heart. I love the small flowers that I added to the holes in the O's in the word 'Good'.

In the bottom corner of my photo, I layered one of the yellow die-cut flowers and added a small yellow puffy flower to the centre. I love how this looks here at it appears to be a continuation of the yellow flowers from the photo. I took a few more of the word and phrase stickers from the This and That Cardstock stickers and placed them around my layout to help tell the story.

On the flowers and butterflies in the wreath at the top, I layered each with a coordinating puffy shape suited to what was printed on the paper. I love how this just adds some more interest, texture and dimension to my layout. If you look closely at these close-up pictures, you can see where I have cut the scallops and folded them back to reveal the pink paper underneath. Lastly I stamped the date stamp and my layout was finished.

I love how my layout turned out and I hope you enjoyed reading about how I created it?! Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy creating!

HELLO AGAIN GOOD COFFEE TIMES LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Raise your hand if you love coffee as much as I do! I can sincerely say that it is my favorite drink and addiction. So, imagine how happy I was to find all the coffee icons in the Hello Again collection, and used them to document my coffee routine.

I took advantage of the tags in the Just Because paper to create this page. I cut 8 of the tags, and attached my pictures to some of them.

I attached all the tags onto a Cupcake Floral/Grid Petite Print so they create a grid on the page. I added a bit of Gray Doodle twine through the tags, so they are anchored to the page. To finish the set up, I framed the page with the Forever Flowers paper.

It was all then about embellishing each of the tags. First, I set the tags on alternate spots, then added pieces of Chit Chat and Bits and Pieces to the empty tags. The foiling just add that special touch to the page.

I am using Alphabet Soup Puffy Alpha Stickers and Puffy Stickers to number each of the coffee cups in their corresponding order. I added a few gems to the tags that do not have photos in them!

To complete the page, I once again mixed Bits and Pieces, Chit Chat, and Alpha Stickers to create my title at the bottom of the page. A few extra sprinkles complete the page.

I love how this turned out! My coffee cup pictures truly shine with all the beautiful patterns and colors from the gorgeous Hello Again collection. Be sure to check it out! XO
