GREAT OUTDOORS MY LITTLE NATURE ESCAPE LAYOUT | by Lisa

New collection cuteness is coming up... After Halloween and before Winter and Christmas, it is always fun to scrap some more Fall photos. I had a fun photo left to scrap that I took a few years ago when taking a walk in the forest, and wanted to use a lot of die cut trees from the new collection, called The Great Outdoors.  Here's what I came up with...

So as I said, I wanted to use all the trees from one of the Odds & Ends die cut packs, the colors were sooooo gorgeous!! I started by placing them on a white cardstock sheet, checking how I would use them and how many I could fit. Then I stitched trough all of the tree trunks using brown embroidery thread and I distressed the edges with my scissors after cutting off a bit of the white borders.

To have a base to place my trees on, I ripped pieces of three different patterned papers and layered them one on top of the other, starting with the lightest one. On top of that, I adhered one of the green scalloped Paper Frills, which reminds me a bit of grass.  After placing and adhering all of my trees, I stitched a few zig-zag and straight lines from left to right to add some detail to the bottom.

For my background, I wanted to add some matching color behind the trees. So I used my watercolors and added a lot of water and then the same colors as the trees. I let it dry for a few hours.  I matted my photo with some patterned and tissue paper and added it to my layout, placing it behind one of the trees. Behind the photo, I added a cloud and sun die cut.

Then came the embellishing part. I added Jewels, Cute Clips in the shapes of flowers and stars, Odds & Ends die cut flowers, enamel ants and two super cute animal die cuts, an eagle and a bear.  For my title I used one of the Chit Chat word die cuts, saying "Nature" and I backed it with some yellow patterned paper. I also used Alpha stickers to write the rest of the title.

I really love the colored trees in this layout and how they stand out so much and make the layout so vibrant and alive.  By adding stitched and distressed details, the layout has so much dimension, I LOVE it!

Thank you so much for stopping by and see you very soon,

PUMPKIN SPICE FALL DAYS LAYOUT | with Maryám

One of my favorite things from the Pumpkin Spice Collection is the cute little creatures. You can find from bears to foxes, to raccoons, to hedgehogs, and more! For today's layout, I am going to be using a cute bear with a very stylish scarf from the Beary Cute Doodle-Pops Cardstock Sticker.

To create my layout, I started out by selecting some pieces from the Odds & Ends Set. The idea was to create a scene with the bear on it so I selected some trees, a wood fence, and some grass. I played with different dispositions until I decided on one. Then, I adhered all the elements in place and left some space on the left to add my photo and journaling later.

To embellish the scene, I added some bubble text with fun sayings from the Chit Chat Set just like they were coming out from the images. In addition, I also added cardstock stickers and little sprinkles from the same collection here and there.

For my title, I used "fall" from the Chit Chat Set and also the word "days" for which I used the Abigail Cardstock Stickers in Bon Bon color to keep a cohesive look on the page.

Now, let's take a look at the finished layout!

That's it for today! I hope you enjoyed this layout and inspired you to create something new. If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below, and I’ll be happy to help you. Have a great day!

PUMPKIN SPICE HELLO AUTUMN LAYOUT | with Tegan

Good day friends! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year, so I absolutely could not wait to create another layout with the fabulous new Pumpkin Spice collection. I love the yummy fall colors and the adorable little critters it has. The Pumpkin Spice collection was just perfect for documenting last year's trip to the pumpkin patch!

Just how adorable are these darling Odds & Ends die cuts pieces?! The Odds & Ends are some of my favorite embellishment pieces to use on my projects! I added a few of the Fall Assortment Sprinkles as well.

I used a cut apart journaling card from the Harvest Berries Patterned Paper for my typed journaling. I also used it to anchor my title, which I created using the die cut words from the Chit Chat Ephemera Pack. I used the Doodlebug Design Flea Market Fall Leaves Cut File and my electronic die cut machine to cut out a few little patterned paper leaves as well.

I love the big impact that the large vertical journaling card adds to the page. I also used the super cute Sunflowers Doodle Pops to decorate my page. Did you spot the sweet little gray mouse die cut shape?!

What are you loving the most about the Pumpkin Spice collection?! It includes so many great colors and graphics, I love all of it so much! I can't wait to use it again to document photos from this year's trip to the pumpkin patch!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope I have inspired you to grab the amazing Pumpkin Spice collection for your next project!

Petite Prints Autumn Layout | with Virginia

Inspired by cozy Autumn colours, I used the Petite Prints papers to create various sized pinwheels (from 1 to 1.5 inches ) and showered them across the page to make a bold statement. I used a Daily Doodle for the page base with a simple white background to make the pinwheels pop. Nothing says 'let's celebrate' than pinwheels!

I emphasized the the letter 'M' here by cutting out the letter 4x and glued them together, it's a great way to used card stock to make a thin chipboard-like embellishments.
