HAPPY HEALING DOODLE POP CARDS | with Karen

It's Doodle-pop time! Every once in awhile, I force myself to share my stash of Doodle-pops on projects. For me, they really are everything I love about Doodlebug - the cute characters, the amazing colours and all the layers that make them...well...pop. It's no wonder so many of us collect them!

And the set that is part of the Happy Healing collection are no exception. The cute Doodle-pops will brighten up any person's day, so it seemed fitting to use them on a set of get well cards!

Because I wanted the Doodle-pops to be to focus of the cards, I went for clean and simple design on top of the coordinating Cards & Envelopes. With a bit of patterned paper, a tag from the Bits & Pieces pack and a few embellishments like mini doilies and mini paper clips, these cards make the Doodle-pop the star of the show.

Which is really not hard - I mean, look at this amazing mug...the transparent velum used for the steam and the sliver spoon put it right over the top. I really try not to play favourites with my Doodle-pops, but this one might just be one of them (and it would be perfect for a variety of occasions - not just a "get well" theme).

So, whether the new Happy Healing Doodle-pops end up on your projects or in your collection, I know you will love them! Thanks for stopping by! Hugs,

HAPPY HEALING MINI MEDICAL FILE CARDS | with Niella

And just like that crafty crew, we've flown into May! I'm so happy to see you all today. Isn't Happy Healing the cutest medical + feel good soon collection you ever did see? How clever to have a whole collection to add to our memory keeping and handmade projects galore. I'm so excited to show you my latest project! Mini medical files that double as a greeting card for a Get Well Soon gift!

When closed these files are 5.25 x 4.25". I've used my scoreboard trimmer and scissors, no die at all! All you need to do is grab your cardstock and cut a 7.3/4" x 5.25" piece and score at 4.25" for the fold, then cut a half inch deep line across each end (about 2.5") and then that makes the tab. Round the corners with a corner or for me, scissors. Experiment with what you feel would work for you. To test, use a piece of plain copy paper.

To add the extra cuteness I've grabbed the 6x6" paper pad and cut panels for the front. Here I've used some of my favourites (so hard to pick) which was Pilling Better (mint), Happy Heart (yellow), Pearly Whites (pink) and Happy Healing (white).

Then to really make the stickers pop out, I layered the patterned papers with the matching cardstock - all from the Happy Healing collection. THEN, everyone's favourite part...decorating! I used the Icon and This & That sticker sheets, puffy icons, Odds & Ends, Chit Chats, Bits & Pieces and the sprinkles! Didn't they turn out super cute!

Look how sweet they look all lined up ready to be used in your next project. And for a treat, each file comes with contents - a cute as pie medical form from the adorable Bits & Pieces pack and decorated card insert and there's even one with an ID badge secured with a doodlebug mini brad.

Would you like to see more? Well here you go friends, a quick video showcase!

Thank you crafty crew for poppin' by today! I hope I gave you a crafty hit of inspiration! Don't forget to tag us in on your socials - we're looking forward to seeing your next Doodlebug Design project! Until next time; doodle doo!

HAPPY HEALING POP UP CARDS | with Kathy

It's no fun when you have a friend or family member who is under the weather.  I always try to do a little something to brighten their day.  The Happy Healing collection is perfect for this!  It's full of adorable icons and bright colors, certain to make anyone feel better!  I decided to create a couple of pop up cards to showcase the cute images.  Take a peek...

For both cards I started with a set of platform pop up dies and some of the 12 x 12 papers from my stash to create the bases.  My first card features the adorable Pill Better Doodle Cuts.  I created a the little pill bottle, using the open shaker piece and some heavyweight acetate for both sides so it looks like a clear bottle. I used some thin foam strips to create a shaker, and filled it with both the Pill Better Shakers and regular shakers.  around the bottle I added cute little tablets from the Puffy Icons and Odds & Ends.  I love how they look like they're floating on the acetate!

Here's a close up of the bottle shaker.  The sentiment was created using the speech bubble die from the Pill Better Doodle Cuts set and the sentiment stamp from the Pill Better Doodle Stamps.

My next card also has a "floating" effect using some more heavy weight acetate.  For this card I combined the Get Well Sentiment from the All Occasion Doodle Cuts with some die cut letters using the Alex Alphabet Doodle Cuts to spell out Get Well Soon.  I added lots of elements from the Odds & Ends to decorate around it.  I just love those cute little germs!

And a close up...

I'm all ready if someone becomes under the weather!  Make sure to stop by all this week for more Happy Healing inspiration!  That's it for me today, thanks for stopping by to peek

HAPPY HEALING EASEL CARDS | with Conny

Hello Crafty Friends, it's Conny here, excited to share four cards featuring the Happy Healing Collection. For this project, you will need pieces of white cardstock for the bases, each measuring 8.5 by 11 inches and weighing 110 lbs. Cut them to 4 1/4 by 11 inches, then score at 3 and 5 1/2 inches to create a unique trifold design. This will give you four bases.

To decorate the white bases, I used the 6 X 6 Happy Healing paper pad. I cut out  base pieces that measure 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches, and 1 3/4 by 5 1/2 inches strips to attach along the left side of the cards. For the finishing touches, I added embellishments from the Odds and Ends, All Better Shaped Sprinkles, Silver Assortment Sprinkles, and Puffy Icons to give each card a personalized touch.

To keep the base standing up I added a cardstock word sticker from the This & That Sheet and double-sided adhesive for dimension.

Have a great day!
