BUNNY HOP LARGE TAGS | with Niella

Hippy Hop it's a bunny hop kinda day with these larger adorable tags I created for you today! With Easter fast approaching and everyone getting their goodie baskets ready, why not top of your gift with a Bunny Hop tag! These larger 6 x 3.5 inch tags have more room to decorate, more to love and have that extra pizzazz ready for gift giving!

I started with the 12x12 patterned papers and picked a variety of colors and backgrounds. The carrot paper (carrot patch) is so sweet and the cute peeps style paper (everything Easter)? Yes, please!

I then went ahead and picked contrasting 6x6 inch patterned papers to go onto white cardstock,  then stitched onto the main tag. The white cardstock helps to pop the top paper. Then I decorated each large tag with the gorgeous Odds & Ends, Bits & Pieces and the stickers from This & That sticker sheet. The final touch to the tags is the dotting of the puffy stickers here and there. I'm big into small details, I know y'all are too!

Lastly, I punched holes in the tags and then tied some Doodle Twine onto each! Don't you just LOVE the colors! I've knotted each end which helps with fraying, but I just love this little touch as well!

If you made it all the way to the end of this post: BONUS! Here is a video showcase!

Thank you crafty crew for hopping by today! I hope I gave you a crafty hit of inspiration! Don't forget to tag us in on your socials - we're looking forward to seeing your next Doodlebug Design project! Until next time; doodle doo!

GHOST TOWN HALLOWEEN TAGS | with Stephanie

Hello again Doodlebug friends!  October has been an awesome month for Doodlebug fans because we’ve been treated to two adorable new collections! Today I’m playing with Ghost Town, the newest (and cutest) Halloween Collection. Halloween of course is all about tricks and treats, so for my 'treats' this year I decided to make tags with sweet little Halloween scenes, here’s a look:

These little tags came together easily with just a few elements. I cut all my tag layers using a metal tag die set.  I used the Ghost Town 6x6 and Petite Prints Buffalo Check 6x6 paper pads for the base and subsequent layers.

I used small banner dies and the Ghost Town stamp set for the sentiments.  Ok, that little frog on the back of the scooter is hilarious!

Aren’t these costumed kiddos the cutest?  They are all images from the Icon sticker sheet popped up on foam squares. I also used moon, star and cloud Shape Sprinkles for some of the scenes.

Here’s just one idea for using tags this size. I love all of the seasonal soaps that are out this time of year and sometimes I give them as small gifts to friends and family.

All they need are cute gift tags tied to them!  That’s it for me today, I hope this project sparked a little creative inspiration in you!  Happy crafting!

Sugar Plum Gift Tags by Wendy Sue Anderson

Good morning Doodlebug friends!  It's Wendy Sue here today, sharing a couple of super fun (and easy) projects I created with the new Sugar Plum collection!
When Santa comes to our home on Christmas Eve he leaves the gifts wrapped and sorted into areas so each child gets their own little stack.  Does he do that at your house?  Sometimes he needs a little bit of help keeping the piles straight, so this year I decided to help him out by creating these giant tags for each child. Santa will just have to make sure the correct tag is placed on or near each child's gifts and there won't be any confusion on Christmas morning - yay!
Here's a closer look at the tags.
To create the tags, I cut a regular paper in half.  Then I folded the bottom up 4" so the reverse side of the paper is showing.  This made the base 6"x8".
Next, I added a strip of striped paper at the top of the  folded portion (this striped paper was cut from the 6x6 pad).
After that, I added a strip of Santa doodle tape (isn't that the cutest?  I think I'm going to use that instead of scotch tape to wrap my gifts this year!), and a border sticker, below the striped paper.  I also tied a piece of doodle twine around the entire piece, tying a bow to the right side and clipping on a mini clothespin.

I punched half circles and added them to the top of each tag, and placed an enamel dot over each top as well.  The main image is from the 4x6 card page - and each one is embellished with letter stickers, various stickers, and enamel dots.

I started feeling a little jealous that Santa had his tags all ready, and I didn't have mine yet...so I decided to fix that!  I simply took this awesome patterned paper:
And cut the tags out.  I also punched the holes in the top:
And then I pulled out my brand spankin' new AMAZING rolls of chunky twine
And added colorful twine to each tag.
Now Santa and I BOTH have a jump start on our holiday gift tags!  What could be better?!?
