PETITE PRINTS MONOCHROMATIC MINI ALBUMS | with Ashley

Hi All! Have you tried a monochromatic project lately? It had been a while for me, so I decided to give it a try again. I got a little carried away and I now have five new mini albums to share with you! I have a full flip through of each album and a tutorial on my YouTube channel here

These projects are also specifically featuring the Petite Print papers. I used both the 12 x 12 sheets and the 6 X 6 paper pads.

I started by lining heavy weight chipboard with Doodlebug cardstock. I used an accordion fold on the spine with enough space for six signature pages. Each one of the pages is interactive with pockets, flip ups, and tuck spots. The signature pages all have a base of cardstock and are then lined with the Petite Print papers.

For the covers, I decided to create a different shaker cutout on each. I used coordinating Doodlebug Sequins to fill. To finish all the albums off, I used some stickers from my stash, some Doodlebug Sprinkles, and Doodlebug Mini Clothespins.

I hope you enjoyed seeing these projects! Happy Crafting!

PETITE PRINTS HAVING SNOW MUCH FUN LAYOUT | with Erica

Petite prints are one of my favorite Doodlebug products. I love the rainbow of colors available and they are so fun to use to create colorful layouts! This week we are sharing projects using petite prints and this wonderful color palette!
I pulled out some of my paper punches and started punching different shapes from the petite prints. I also pulled out some boutique buttons, sprinkles and the Winter Wonderland collection! Once all of my shapes were punched out I arranged them on a piece of lily white Doodlebug cardstock. I layered up some of the punched shapes and adhered them all down with some adhesive. I had some photos of our sweet Lola playing out in the snow bundled up in her pink sweatshirt. I used a 1 3/4" circle paper punch to punch out my photos and add to some of the larger punched circles. After adhering all the punched shapes I added some buttons, die cuts and cardstock stickers to the punched circles and scallops. I added some thick foam adhesive to some of the die cuts to add dimension. I knew the boutique buttons would be the perfect embellishments to add to some of the smaller circles. I used Glue Dots to adhere the boutique buttons. I used smaller icon stickers and sprinkles to fill in the open spots after adding all the punched shapes. I love all the different textures and colors of this layout! Some of the sprinkles and stickers have glitter and it is a fun element added to the page. This layout was so fun to put together and I love how it turned out! I hope you found some inspiration here today using the petite prints and i would love to see your take on this layout! You can even take the inspiration and use it on a card!

MAKE A WISH BIRTHDAY CARD | with Karen

March to July in my house is birthday season. Little girls together with the men in my life all seem to have birthdays during these months, so between crafting and cake baking, it is full-on for 5 months. But the time has come - the last birthday is on the horizon and I am celebrating!! Now don't get me wrong, with amazing products like the Fairy Tales collection teamed up with the new Rainbows and Unicorns stamp set, it doesn't get much more fun then pulling together projects like this little birthday card. Add some glitter sprinkles and some mini paper clips and doilies, and the cards are flying off of the crafty table! But there is something to be said for crafting just for the fun of it. And I can't wait to do just a little bit more of that in the next little while.
So here's to celebrations - of special events and of breaks from special events!
Thanks for stopping by, Hugs,
