6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - HALLOWEEN DISNEYLAND PART 2 | with Miguel

They say that remembering is living again and today I decided to document a wonderful trip from 2023 to Paris!  I got to visit one of the most magical places, Disneyland. And I think Doodlebug's 6x8 albums are great for documenting.

If you missed my cover post you can see it here.  The first page places the month and date of this great trip with some Sweet & Spooky  This & That Stickers and Puffy Icon Stickers.

On my next page,  I placed the photo of the castle and continued decorating with Odds & Ends and added a title with some Alphabet Soup Stickers.

I love the photo insert pocket pages because they allow you to capture several moments on a single page.

On the other page I added cardstock and Stickers.  I love that you can add lots of things to the pockets to display!

I will be back with more ideas from my book in my next posts. See you soon!

6 X 8 MINI ALBUMS - HALLOWEEN ALBUM | with Miguel

There is no doubt that Doodlebug always thrills us with its beautiful products. Today I bring you the cover of my 6" x 8" Mini Album.   I decided to document the Halloween season.

I started with the Lilac 6x8 Album.   To decorate I used the Sweet & Spooky collection and specifically the This and That Stickers to decorate part of the cover of my album.

I also used this Halloween sign from the Chit Chat Pieces and the Haunted Manor Doodle Pop that was my favorite from this collection.  I added some  puffy stickers to give that shine to the project that I love so much.

I will be back with more from the inside of my album soon!  Have a great day!

HEY PUMPKIN SPOOKY LAYOUT | with Tarrah

Happy Halloween!! Halloween is one of my favorite memories to document! Who doesn't love getting all dressed up and getting free candy right?! The Hey Pumpkin collection is perfect for documenting all those recent photos you took this Halloween! I chose to document a photo from a few years ago as it went well with this collection.

I chose a paper from the 6' x 6' paper pad to layer under my photo and I chose the 'B' side of the Boo-Tiful Bouquet paper from my background. I also ripped a piece of the Peek-A-Boo paper and glued it showing the 'B' side to the left of the layout, ruffling the edges to create some more texture.

I adhered my photo using foam tape and took one of the stickers from the This and That sticker sheet and placed it to the right of my photo. I chose the Spooky title from the Chit Chat pack as my title, placing this below my photo and also using foam tape to give the page some dimension.

Over the top of the sticker next to the photo, I took one of the super cute Doodle Pops and placed it over the top, I love how the Doodle Pops add layers, texture and dimension! I use them as much as I can! I also took 2 of the cupcake Doodle Pops and added those to my layout as well.

At the top and bottom of my photo, I tucked in the spider web die-cuts and added a Doodle Pop and a Puffy spider to each, again to add some more interest and dimension on the page. How can you go past those spiders? I mean they are soooo cute!! On the left of my photo, I added the tree die-cut with the colored balls on it and a ghost with a bat puffy sticker layered on top. I just love the cute creatures in t his collection!

A few smaller embellishments finished off the layout and I stamped the date stamp to complete my page. I love how it turned out and I hope you are inspired to document your Halloween photos with the cute Hey Pumpkin collection! Happy creating!

HEY PUMPKIN TICKET MINI ALBUM | with Niella

Hi crafty boo crew! Halloween may be over for BUT that means it's now time to start documenting all the fun, mayhem and ghoulie treats you've saved over October! Eek! Remember your memory keeping is an investment! Don't lose those special memories so while it's all still fresh in your mind, let's get documenting in a fun ticket mini album! Yay! Or save this post for ideas! And your treat is at the end, a video showcasing!

I've started by thinking outside the square! What is something you can create without a die and with a tool most of us crafters already have in our stash? For this ticket album I've cut 6x4 papers and then notched the middle, bottom and corners using my 1 inch circle punch! And there you have large ticket pages! If you follow me on Instagram; you know how obsessed I am with tickets! This album is set with disc binders but you can simply punch holes on the top and use a ring hoop to bind together! Ideas galore.

This acetate page called Homespun shows a mini ticket embellishment! It's adhered with a removable foam adhesive dot so you can take the ticket off and use as an embellie on your project! Super cute idea, right!

Next page over is this super adorable page made with vellum and Halloween Haul paper! Sweet! I love using the Icon stickers popped up on foam squares to give that pop factor. Machine stitching adds that spooky detailing. And did you see there's a sweet tab there made with Sabrina's Socks paper! Out slides a hidden spot for photos!

And here is one of my FAV pages using the coordinating cardstock and Boo-tiful Bouquet paper! Witchy Boo with her cat Spooks! She's getting ready to fly around the neighborhood sprinkling candy here and there! Yay! The Sprinkles came in handy to dot around as clusters. Fun!

Oh this page is jaw-some! Its a vellum pocket with cut-a-parts from the Sabrina's Socks paper! Watch out! Ghostie is driving through with all the tricks!

How sweet is this double page! A extra delicious candy house complete with the cutest pumpkin chimney plug! Heehee! Beware, there's a spider to spook you! Or should I say adore you, so cute! The right side has a pull out hidden journaling spot as well. Yes!

And this last double page has another pull up spot hidden behind the vellum overlay on top of the Jolly Jack-o-lanterns paper and it's all dressed up with Icon stickers, sprinkles and the fun Halloween Shapes!

Thank you creepy crafty crew for visiting today! I hope I gave you a crafty hit of inspiration! Don't forget to tag us in on your socials - we're looking forward to seeing your next Doodlebug Design project! Until next time; doodle BOO!

HEY PUMPKIN TRAVELERS NOTEBOOK LAYOUTS | with Tya

Happy Halloween everyone! I'm so happy to be here with you today to share my latest project! As the holiday season approaches, and schedules get busier, finding time to craft can feel like a challenge. That's why I am loving traveler's notebook-sized layouts, especially when paired with the adorable "Hey Pumpkin" collection! This compact size is perfect for fitting in creative time without the commitment to a full 12x12 layout! I just adore this size!

Today I have 2 layouts to show you, so let's get started!
My first layout was such a fun one to create! I made the "Trunk or Treat" die cut from the Chit Chat ephemera my focal point on the left page, immediately bringing that Halloween spirit to life!

To decorate this page a bit more, I cut rectangles from various pattern papers from the 6x6 paper pad and used them as tiny little trick-or-treat bags. I added some black twine to the top for the handles and decorated each bag with some of the Puffy Stickers for extra dimension and charm.
For the right-hand page of this layout, I used the playful Peek-a-Boo paper as my background. The black subtle pattern was the perfect background to showcase my two photos along with my journaling. I added a few stars from the Odds and Ends ephemera, some more Puffy Stickers, and the fun "happy Halloween" speech bubble die cut from the Chit Chat die cuts.
My journaling was typed up on one of the tags from the Bits and Pieces pack. How cute is that little car filled with all my Halloween friends in it? It is from the Icon Sticker Sheet.

On my second layout, I used the bright and colorful Bubblegum Gingham/Linen Petite Print paper for my background. The vibrant color sets a fun tone for the pages, making it perfect to capture the fun memories of this Halloween Disney trip we took.

To embellish the layout, I added die cuts from the Bits and Pieces pack, along with a few Puffy Stickers. The "good times" sticker on the green label is from the This and That Sticker Sheet.
For my journaling, I knew I wanted to use one of the cut-apart journaling spots on the "Sabrina's Sock" paper. I cut one out and added my journaling as there was a bit to say about the details of this trip. I trimmed a piece of the Jolly Jack-o-Lanterns paper and made it a side pocket to tuck the journaling in. This really ties the whole layout together! And how adorable is this sweet and spooky trio of Halloween friends in the corner? Love the touch this die cut from the Bits and Pieces added to this part of the layout!
Don't the Puffy Stickers add the perfect amount of shine? I just love this little smattering decorating the top of my journaling spot!
Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my traveler's notebook-sized layouts! I hope these pages have inspired you to give this size a try as a way to keep your memory keeping quick and enjoyable during this busy holiday season. It's a great way to document those special moments without feeling overwhelmed! Happy crafting my fa-boo-lous friends! See you next time!

HEY PUMPKIN GHOUL FRIENDS LAYOUT | with Nathalie

Halloween is just a few days! Time to get ready to celebrate and document all those fun and spooky activities with the beautiful Hey Pumpkin collection. I love the fun designs and colors in this collection, and they were perfect to document this story.

Can you believe that I only used my 6x6 paper pad to create this layout! I wanted to play with circles, and the smaller patterns were just what I need it to make the photo pop on the page.

I started by trimming the stripe paper into two 6x3" strips and set them on the gray cardstock so they lay from left to right edges. However, I set them so they are about 1" higher on the right side of the page.

Next it was all about the circles. I simply cut a few circles (with a metal die) from the 6x6 paper pad. I layered a few of them with a second circle to create a frame-like idea, and also to minimize the patterns on the page. I set them in a zig zag motion down the page. Then placed the photo atop the two paper strips.

Then it was all about embellishing, I pulled pieces from the Bits and Pieces, Odds and Ends, to add interest to the circles. I added icon stickers, puffy stickers and Doodle pops as I worked down the page. For the title, I reached for large Chit Chat words and added extra puffy stickers to bring it all together.

I love how this layout came together so easily. I cannot wait to see all your Halloween paper crafting. Remember to check the Hey Pumpkin collection! XO

HEY PUMPKIN ACCORDION MINI ALBUM | with Conny

Hey everyone, It's Conny! I'm excited to share a beautiful accordion mini album showcasing the stunning Hey Pumpkin Collection. This album was a joy to create, offering the perfect canvas for adding photos on both sides. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to design flip-up pages, adding an extra element of surprise and creativity to the album.

Let's get started! I started with two chipboard pieces measuring 4 1/2" x 6 1/2". I used black cardstock measuring 8" x 6 1/8" to cover them.  I placed the chipboard in the middle using a book cover guide, leaving about 3/4" all around and added adhesive all around the 3/4" and folded those into the chipboard.

Next, I created the accordion pages. I used 110 lb black cardstock for the pages, measuring 6 1/2" x 11",  scored at 4 1/2" x 9". The ends that measure 2" between the 9" x11" were adhered to the chipboard covers. After adding the hinges to the chipboard,  I joined the pages, creating a zigzag! If you want to create a pocket out of the pages you are joining, that is also an option. Make sure when matting the pages, the pocket is facing up. The black cardstock papers throughout the album measure 4 3/8" x 6 3/8". Next I chose my favorite papers from the collection.
The white photo matts were cut in three sizes: 3 3/4" x 4 1/4", 6" x 3 3/4", and 8 1/2" x 4 3/4".  I scored the longest side of the 8 1/2" x 4 3/4" mat at 4 1/4" to create flip-up pages.  I embellished them with my favorite pieces from the Bits and Pieces, Odds & Ends, chit chat, and more.
You can find the process video on my YouTube channel (link below)  Thank you for stopping by, and I can't wait to see what you create using the Hey Pumpkin Collection. Happy Haunting!!! Xo Conny!!
