HEY PUMPKIN HALLOWEEN TAGS | with Niella

Calling all ghoul friends, spookies and witchy boos! It's my first Doodlebug Halloween project with Hey Pumpkin! I can't believe how fast the year is going...how can it be late September already! Thanks so much for popping around - you'll love this one as it's quick, easy and ultra fun! Eeek! So come one, come all, let's take a looksie!

BEWARE: Video showcase ghoulie fun ahead!

I'm really loving the color palette in this collection. That pop of pink and orange are my fave bits! Annd how stinkin' cute are the witches with their little outfits and hats! Adore! What is your favorite crafty Halloween go-to? Icon stickers, pretty paper or cardstock or sweet sprinkles? For me, it's everything! You're the same? I knew it!

For these tags, I've cut 2.5" x 4" pieces from the cardstock as the base, and then layered over patterned paper from the 6x6" paper pad and then on top the matching lighter shade of cardstock. Then to secure I have machine stitched the top and bottom. Once I've done each tag like this, I go ahead and do my fave part....decorating!

How spooky-boo cute are those creepy-crawly cute cupcakes! Finish off each tag with Doodle Twine - winning!

If you don't know already Doodlebug have you sorted by having the Co-ordinating Textured Cardstock Pack with their collections! I love that all the matching work is done for you, especially this pack as there are two shades for each color, then black + white which is a total of 12 sheets of 12x12" cardstock! As you can see, I've used ten of the 12 color choices! Eeek!

Thank you again crafty creepy crew for visiting today! I hope I gave you a crafty hit of inspiration! Don't forget to tag us in on your socials - we're looking forward to seeing your next Doodlebug Design project! Until next time; doodle BOO!

HEY PUMPKIN SHAKER TAGS | with Conny

Hey everyone! It's Conny from TheDailyLifeofCreativity with Hey Pumpkin Collection, and I'm excited to share these gorgeous shaker tags with you. I adore creating shaker tags because they're incredibly enjoyable to make and I love how versatile they are – they can effortlessly enhance various projects. I will be adding these tags to my October/Halloween cards or mini albums.
Let's begin! I started by selecting some 12"X12" cardstock. If you prefer to use the 6"X6" paper pad, that would work great too. The smaller images on the paper can be fun to play with when creating shakers using acetate.
I chose the Homespun heavy acetate, as well as the "Boo-tiful Bouquet" paper. I used the floral side with the spiders and the side with the black polka dots. I also used the "Moonlight Magic" paper and "Plaid It's Halloween." For the shakers, I picked the "Peek-a-Boo" paper because I felt like they would stand out more with the acetate, letting the "Halloween Night" and "Sweet Treat" shakers pop.
I usually prefer my tags to be 3"X5". There are many dies available with stitching, and SVGs, or you can even make them yourself. Cutting them is simple. To bind the tags together and turn them into shakers, I used my sewing machine with white thread. I stitched all around, leaving a spot open at the top to add the shakers. After that, I closed the opening using my sewing machine.

I spruced them up with some chit-chat, odds & ends, bits & pieces, and mini icons. I then used a staple to attach the chit-chat pieces to the bottom of the tags and layered the embellishments on top. To finish them off, I added a black tulle bow.
I'd love to see your take on these tags, so be sure to tag us. Wishing you a delightfully spooky time, my little pumpkins!

SWEET & SPOOKY HALLOWEEN TAGS | with Niella

Howl are you crafty ghoulfriends! Heehee! We're counting down to October 31st... Sweet & Spooky style! Thank you for popping in to see what we've been up to with this darling collection! For my latest project I had to create some fun TAGS! They are one of my fave projects to make, they remind me of little works of art to give away, to build in your gift giving stash or use on any projects you like!

From the 6x6" paper pad, I have created 7 tags! Each tag measures 2.5" x 4" with a wee corner snipped off on each top corner. Then I went about stitching on contrasting sections of patterned paper over the centre areas; this helps the ephemera to "pop" and standout more. Everything goes together, so no matter what products you choose; it all looks so cute!

In this collection, I'm loving the mixed alpha fonts! How cute is this Spooky word which I've used Abigail, My Type, Alphabet Soup and Skinny. I've mixed these alpha stickers to match the cuteness of the words on the ephemera and washi tape too!

Click each picture and zoom in to see the tiny details! Can you spot the mixed alpha word eeeeeek? Or the wrapped candy embellishments made from the Treat Yourself Doodle Cuts dies? Or how about the fussy cut lollipops and trims from the cute 6x6" paper pad! And how about that fun mini paper chain decoration for the win!

Let the good times roll with your next crafty project using this super cute Halloween collection; there is so much fun to be had with it. Remember to tag us in your Doodlebug Design projects - we love seeing what you've created! Have a great day my ghoul friends, we'll catch you hex time ;-) lol. Doodle boo!

GHOST TOWN HALLOWEEN TAGS | with Stephanie

Hello again Doodlebug friends!  October has been an awesome month for Doodlebug fans because we’ve been treated to two adorable new collections! Today I’m playing with Ghost Town, the newest (and cutest) Halloween Collection. Halloween of course is all about tricks and treats, so for my 'treats' this year I decided to make tags with sweet little Halloween scenes, here’s a look:

These little tags came together easily with just a few elements. I cut all my tag layers using a metal tag die set.  I used the Ghost Town 6x6 and Petite Prints Buffalo Check 6x6 paper pads for the base and subsequent layers.

I used small banner dies and the Ghost Town stamp set for the sentiments.  Ok, that little frog on the back of the scooter is hilarious!

Aren’t these costumed kiddos the cutest?  They are all images from the Icon sticker sheet popped up on foam squares. I also used moon, star and cloud Shape Sprinkles for some of the scenes.

Here’s just one idea for using tags this size. I love all of the seasonal soaps that are out this time of year and sometimes I give them as small gifts to friends and family.

All they need are cute gift tags tied to them!  That’s it for me today, I hope this project sparked a little creative inspiration in you!  Happy crafting!
